Aarzoo, is an great tutor and has been able to compact down GCSE maths (resist) topics too make them more understandable which has helped in my maths revision . She has also helped how I approach the exam and has given me more confidence in a short amount of time since I have only had tutoring for less than 2 months.

I would like to extend a massive thank you to Aaron and his team for their support for my children. My girls had not completed the curriculum for Year 3 when they started Year 4, to my shock, when we joined Explore. Their progress had been badly hampered by Covid and schools closing for so many months. A year later one of my girls succeeded in achieving an Academic Scholarship and both girls have just been awarded places in two of the top independent schools in Hampshire. My son has been going to Whiteley Explore Learning for more than 2 years now and I could not speak more highly of it. A combination of SEND needs, unsuccessful home schooling during the pandemic and a need for my son to have more 121 support meant that I looked for private tutoring and was recommended Explore. At first my son was reluctant to attend, but now it's his special place and he's very happy to go. The staff are wonderful, incredibly supportive and adapt to his needs. If I find out my son is struggling with a topic at school, I let the team at Explore know and we work as a team to help improve his understanding of the topic, so that he grows in confidence and ultimately ability to tackle the topic. I particularly like the parents meetings, where I get more insight on my son's progress and abilities than I get at school's parents evenings. They can pinpoint which month of which school year your child is working at, which is so much more useful to know. The team at Explore are incredible, so supportive of parents concerns and they get to know all the children really well and create a wonderful learning environment. If you're in any doubt, try it!

Our twins Anna & Maria started their Kumon journey from reception onwards.Which gave them a strong foundation on their Maths and English at school.I would say it wasnt easy,with lots of encouragement and discussion with the girls and their instructor Dr Maria woodford they started to show good progress.When they started to move up levels it was challenging at times.Lack of concentration and motivation was an issue.But Maria their instructor was always a call away to listen to their problems and always messaged back with solutions or followed back in class.Gradually they made excellent progress and currently doing Anna FI in Maths and G in English and Maria H in Maths and HI in English which is well ahead of their school curriculam. Their hard work and committment certainly paid off when the SATS results came this week .Both girls achieved "geater depth standard" in English-Grammer,Punctuation,Spelling and reading also in Maths, which is a scaled score of 110 or above for all. Maria the youngest of the twins got 120 the maximum score for English grammer and reading and 119 for her Maths.Her sister Anna also just behind her scoring well above 110.Very well done girls.We are proud of you both. I would like to thank Maria and her team for all support, effort, passion, and kindness of teaching my girls - Raya Y6 & Alexandra Y3. The girls joined Kumon 2 years ago and I can see the great effect of these Maths sessions. Their thinking is quicker, their organizational skills improved, they are more open to challenges, they are much more disciplined and confident in their studies. I believe the way Kumon works helped my kids not just with the simple calculation and repetition of the maths methods, but developing other skills as well. Maria has been brilliant right from the start with my child. She made him feel welcome to the class and made Kumon exciting by being so positive and giving out lots of praise for even the smallest task.
