Two of my children attended Oakfield House Tuition and both of them passed the 11+ at a very high standard. One choosing to attend Beth’s Grammar and the other choosing to attend Dartford Grammar for boys. My boys enjoyed their time there, commenting on the environment and how the teachers made them comfortable and took time to ensure that they understood a topic. One of them used to say he didn’t think he’d been in there for 2 hours, that time passed quickly. Ayesha and her team ensured that the parents were part of the journey, always available to respond to queries or enquiries. Will recommend anytime. In my opinion I believe they are affordable when you think about the quality of teaching they deliver.

Ace11Plus tuition has been great! Ash is a very experienced tutor and knowledgeable about various aspects of 11+ from materials/topics needed for various schools/boroughs to test techniques. He's been passionately sharing all that with the kids and making sure they know their areas of weaknesses and have a plan to improve on that. My son very much enjoyed the sessions and, while it felt a bit easy at first (while Ash was covering the basics), it soon became challenging enough and it helped tremendously with maintaining my son's motivation through 5Y (which is often a big challenge otherwise). Ash and his courses are very well organised and the materials (while not shared with parents), judging by regular performance statistics Ash shared (which is also quite useful), seemed were able to stretch even the most able pupils. I have been tutored from year 9-11 at Leads Tutorials for Triple Science GCSE, and from year 12-13 for A Level Maths, Physics and Chemistry. The teaching has always been excellent, and the classes always target the key information that needs to be delivered. You are challenged, but not thrown too far in the deep end so that you are able to learn and understand how to answer questions, particularly with a lot of useful exam style questions they provide. From attending every week and the homework given, I was able to come out with a grade 9 in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Similarly, for A Level, I was able to achieve 2A*s in Maths and Physics and 1A in Chemistry. Leads helped me keep on top of these subjects alongside my other A Level Product Design, which I also achieved an A* and now, I am starting my Engineering degree at Cambridge University all with the help of Leads Tutorials.

I have attended Leads Tutorials for 9 years, and they have helped me a lot with all my exams throughout my school (11+, GCSEs and A-Levels). The content is always well planned and prepared by the tutors, with the tutors thoroughly going through questions again if we don't understand it. Explore has proven to be an invaluable resource to aid the growth and development of skills needed to achieve academic success. Obviously, your child will need the mindset and focus to put in the work for themselves, but these guys will definitely help get you there. Their sole purpose is to get you to where your child needs to be. The rigorous assessments identify weaker areas that need improving and this is fine-tuned with exercises in-centre and students are give online tools as support for free. They recognise that each child learns in different ways so this is tailored and adapted if an approach or tutor is not working. Parent’s have regular progress meeting so you are not left in the dark. The team are super friendly and approachable and always happy to help and advise. The incentives offered to the young children really fosters the love of learning and this continues throughout their time at Explore. I can't praise the Sidcup team enough there are so many star tutor’s it would not be fair to single out individuals. The current centre manager Sue is exceptional and this has to be recognised as the driving force behind the experience given to us parents. I have not regretted a penny spent on Explore and wish my child could continue to attend past 16. Highly recommend. I also voted for one of their tutor’s in the National Tutoring Awards as she been fantastic in her support with my child’s GCSE’s!

We first had Gerard tutor our son for a short time to prepare for 10 plus entrance and it was very successful as he gained a scholarship. Gerard was a first rate tutor via Zoom for our daughter throughout the later part of year 11. He was organised, explained concepts clearly and was very helpful in providing question practice. His lessons instilled a confidence in our daughter which she never gained from lessons at school. She achieved an A, and this was largely down to the work Gerard did with her. He was very helpful in organising extra lessons as exam season approached. I cannot recommend his tutoring service highly enough and only wish we had found him earlier.

My daughter had lessons with A star learners and it has been a great experience. Fatema is a very thoughtful teacher who puts a lot of thought into how she presents the material. Her lessons were engaging, useful, and she was very patient with everyone in in the class, encouraging her students to do their best. Fatema is Creative with her lesson plans with colourful pictures to demonstrate work, she is dedicated to explain each subject clearly and is very passtionate in doing so.
