Our daughter has been receiving tuition with Explore Learning New Barnet for over 4 years. She is very happy and it’s clear that she has gained a great deal of confidence with her learning and is achieving high grades at school. The centre and staff are very welcoming, and there is always a friendly, positive atmosphere. She particularly enjoys her online one to one sessions as she can focus without the usual classroom distractions of school and she is very comfortable with her lovely tutor. Due to this focus, she has often been working ahead of the school curriculum which means that by the time her school class is learning a particular module, she already has a good understanding of it. Likewise, if her class covers a module that she is a bit unsure of, she covers it again during her Explore Learning session and can ask questions in a more relaxed, intimate space where she does not feel peer pressure. We would highly recommend this to all parents as we have honestly seen the benefits to our daughter’s confidence. Her school also comment on how well she is doing in all her subjects but particularly in maths and English. Our daughter is very happy to continue with these sessions up to her GCSE’s as she understands how much it has helped her and she enjoys them!

The staff at New Barnet Explore Centre are truly amazing. They have been incredibly supportive of my son's learning process and have helped him build confidence in himself. Not only do the teachers have a great relationship with the children, but the managers, Athena and Benji, are also incredibly friendly and always willing to help. We’ve seen a great improvement in both or sons and daughters learning and feedback from their teachers. This has been the best decision and it’s much cheaper than a tutor. The kids enjoy the sessions and it doesn’t feel like extra curricular chores as theirs other children and as it’s on computers they seem to find it fun. Highly recommend.
