My son started his tuition for his 11+ with Redbridge Tuition when he was about half way through year 5 and the team have been fantastic! I wish he'd started sooner! The team have gone above and beyond to prep my son for his 11+ exam - a different exam board to many of his peers. The team were friendly, professional and capable of dealing with a range of personalities and skill levels. Whatever the outcome, my son has been pushed to his academic ability and is thriving at school as a result. It's very personal - children are tutored in small groups. As well as the weekly group tuition, I recommend their more intense holiday courses, where children begin their week sitting a practice exam, determining where support is needed and ensuring children are familiar with the exam process. One-to-one lessons have also proved helpful. In addition, if you already make use of the tax free childcare scheme, you can use it to pay for tuition, so the government tops up 20%! My son started Redbridge Tuition whilst in year 3 of Primary school, his confidence was low and he was nervous about tackling maths. The tutors were patient and tailored support for his needs. 3 years on his confidence has grown. The topics learnt at Redbridge Tuition was parallel to what he was learning in school, which subsequently helped him with his school work. He was able to confidently approach his SATS. I can highly recommend Redbridge Tuition. Our daughter started taking mathematics lessons with Mr Kambli at the end of March 2023. She is naturally shy but after just couple of months we can see how confident she became in solving mathematics in general. Now we have got her end of the year report, I can proudly say she is exceeded all expectations. She likes the lessons so much that she asked for English tuition on top of the Maths. All teachers are very friendly not shy to answer any questions at the end of the lessons and are happy to give guidance to parents how to help children at home with homework or future studies.
