My son joined Pillai Tutors from year 4 and we completed the journey with Grammar School results coming out. Thanks to Pillai Tutors (Manju and Mrs. B in particular) who put in so much hard work and effort. They make classes inclusive, make learning enjoyable and are available whenever needed. I was able to talk to Manju almost after every class and get the required feedback to support my son at home. Teachers at year 4 (Ms. Munmun) were excellent too. Thanks to all the teachers involved and all the hard work you put in to support kids through this challenging journey of 11+. My son managed to clear both stages for Sutton, Kent and Tiffins stage 1 (stage 2 exam is due). Once again, thank you, keep up the great work!

We've benefitted from the structured learning that Manju provides for the 11+ journey, and our son has secured a place at the school of our choice. Reflecting back, the weekly classes and homework felt like a lot of work to begin with, but we soon had our routine set up. We followed Manju's advice and dedicated 30 min every day to homework, so we had weekends to ourselves for family time. Mrs B and Manju, are both excellent teachers, and I like their approach to ensuring that children understand the concepts rather than focussing on finishing tasks. I would highly recommend Pillai Tutors to those trying to figure out their next steps!

Outstanding Tutor Experience at Pillai Tutors My son joined Pillai Tutors when we moved to the UK from India, during his Year 4. Everything here was completely new for him, but the tutors at Pillai made the transition seamless. They helped him prepare for the 11+ Sutton SET exam, and we were incredibly impressed by how quickly he was able to grasp new concepts. The tutors are truly amazing—patient, skilled, and dedicated. What sets Pillai Tutors apart is that they don’t just focus on exam templates for the 11+; they ensure that students develop a solid understanding of the subject as a whole. This approach meant we didn’t have to spend extra time preparing for Maths and English for other county school exams—it was all covered. We never had to tutor him at home, just made sure he completed his homework on time. We are very thankful for the guidance and support they provided, and would highly recommend Pillai Tutors to any parent!

I would give 5 stars for Manju and Ms B commitment in getting children prepared for Sutton grammar schools. We had our first preference school and it has been a good guided seamless preparation with Pillai tutors. I would recommend.

Our son went to Pillai tutors for 11plus prep last year. He joined in year 5 and we’ve been very happy with the structure, service and overall learning experience. We liked the group based learning approach followed by 121 feedback given by Manju for her lessons. Both Mrs.B and Manju are fantastic set of teachers who exactly know what is required to crack 11plus exams. Their honest feedback and approach keeps you realistic and got us as parents to work with our child accordingly. We particularly like the service of creative writing they offer with detailed feedback and evaluation on a weekly basis. I would highly recommend their services for 11 plus prep.
