Last year I attended the BMAT Crash Course to be prepared and feel confident. It really showed me everything I needed to know about the BMAT. This year Shaaji contacted me again and offered me to help me ace this year's BMAT. I have had multiple sessions with both Shaaji and TK, going through all the three sections. They are really kind and really motivated to help you. With Shaaji I have mostly looked at the essay questions and the critical thinking ones. TK showed me every trick I needed to know to prepare for the second section. Because of them I passed this year's BMAT and I am really grateful for all the help they have given me.

He increased her confidence within the first few weeks and she was able to tackle her tasks without frustration and with renewed confidence in her abilities. Jamie is a really excellent maths tutor. He worked with my Year 6 boy who had very low confidence in his maths abilities, and had become really nervous about tackling sums. Jamie worked with him slowly and surely to rebuild his confidence and help him to enjoy maths. As a result, by the end of Year 6 he did well in his SATS, had a completely different attitude and much more confidence. He actually enjoyed the lessons as they were so much fun with Jamie. We can't recommend him highly enough.

Abi tutored my daughter who needed to build her confidence with schoolwork, particularly English which she found challenging. Abi skillfully mixed things my daughter could do / enjoyed with learning the trickier elements in each session to build both her ability and her confidence. When it came to SATS my daughter breezed through the exam week, she felt totally at ease with the papers and ended up doing really well (with the third highest grade in English across the school). Abi is incredibly patient, she connects really well with kids and makes the sessions enjoyable by mixing up the content and going at a pace that suits the child. In the last year, there is no question that Geek School has been instrumental in our daughter's monumental progress in Maths & Literacy and in her preparation for the 11+ as a whole. We are so pleased with the amount of progress she has made that now it is not a question of if but when our 4yo son can start classes with Joycellyn. Our daughter has also gained a lot of confidence in her approach to Maths problems and reiterates time and again that she finds her maths classes at school and the work set very easy. Our only regret is that we did not know about Geek school earlier. Undoubtedly she has also had to put in the effort and hours by completing work set by Tutors on a weekly basis but not over doing it as advised with regular feedback on progress. A worthwhile investment for any parent whose child is prepared to work hard and/or needs the extra push/motivation.

My son started Geek School in the autumn of 2019. Mrs. Akuffo suggested he try the 10+ plus exam ( I had never heard of them). I registered him for Trinity and City of London School and he has been invited for an interview for both. Mr Sayedul has been helping my son's 11 plus maths years ago to be successfully entered to one of our desired schools. Miguel did an excellent job with our daughter. Did an initial assessment 12 months before the Kent Test. Then worked through strategies, examples and techniques. Miguel identified and worked on some basic missing skills that were essential for harder later work. This was crucial. As the test neared Miguel advised on just the right amount of daily work needed and avoided the temptation to do too much. In the end our daughter passed with a great score. This was all in a 12m period and she never met Miguel as it was all done over Zoom due to Covid. Miguel made the learning and strategies engaging and all without any stress. Couldn’t recommend Miguel highly enough!
