As a secondary teacher, I can wholeheartedly recommend Lee. His statistical approach is very reassuring to parents, and he knows his stuff! He also has a pragmatic approach to teaching 10 year old boys, and knows that a lollipop can go a long way towards motivating them. My son enjoyed his tuition, despite not being a school- lover. We also saw an improvement in his school performance which I have no doubt is owing to the tuition over the year.

Lee at Brighter Minds gave our child confidence to enjoy learning new skills, in preparation for the 11 plus Grammar test. He is also honest, if this is not right for your child, he will let you know. Importantly he asks the parents to remain calm and trust his process. The results speak for themselves. Our Child loved attending the weekly sessions and will miss his teaching style. We would 100% recommend his sessions.

My daughter attended the 11+ tutoring in year5, from the first day she loved the sessions. Her abilities and confidence grew throughout the year, the support and belief showed by Lee helped immensely. Great advice on exam techniques, what to expect on the day and a big plus was the children being able to attend mock exams in a very similar set up to what they experience on the day with individually focussed feedback. I’m so thankful to Andy for starting Level Up and creating this amazing space for my son to be part of. We signed up for Andy's Level up skool platform 6 weeks ago and it is honestly the best thing I have done to support my daughter's GCSE revision. With live and recorded webinars in a range of subjects, including the core GCSE's, there is access to revision support whenever you need it. I have watched the platform grow in just this short space of time and Andy is always asking for feedback for what would the kids need next. Christoph has been helping my twins since September 2023, after trying an online maths tutor that would frequently cancel at short notice. Christoph has really engaged well with the twins, and although both of them struggle with maths, they find his help and direction invaluable. Christoph has also been extremely supportive to us as parents, in navigating any issues with schools and GCSE's.

I have been looking for a long time for somewhere to learn German where I feel encouraged, relaxed and able to make mistakes without judgement. I am so delighted to have found Rails Farm and Christoph and Gabby. They provide a welcoming, positive environment and Christoph is a wonderful tutor giving structured group classes with great knowledge, empathy and humour. It is also so helpful to have a native speaker. I have already recommended Rails Farm to several people.

Such a great mixture of fun and learning! Christoph and Gabi host regular gatherings; either for coffee, cake and German conversation-or for more structured learning, in their own unique style. Always sociable, but very effective!

Its great to have lessons and conversations with a native German speaker. The German study group is great fun and a lovely relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in which to learn from Christoph and the other members. I also have a private lesson to work on my speaking and listening skills. Its certainly helps when I visit Germany. Christoph are Gaby are great hosts for their German breakfast gatherings which I highly recommend.

Poppy has literally changed my daughters life in Maths, before Poppy she had very little confidence in her own ability and was really struggling. Poppy offers fantastic tuition. She is reliable, friendly and creative in her teaching approach to get the best out of your child. But Deirdre's kind, intelligent and structured approach has enabled him to make sense of things and his work is transformed. Gemma has been working with our 10YO ahead of her 11 plus. Our daughter struggles with holding her attention on tasks and is a little dyspraxic. This detracts from her innate intelligence when learning in a traditional sense. Gemma has devised innovative, interesting and often novel ways to engage her in learning the more difficult subject areas, and irrespective of outcome at the 11+ I'm confident that we chose the best way to maximize her potential.
