Poppy offers fantastic tuition. She is reliable, friendly and creative in her teaching approach to get the best out of your child. She supported my daughter, who has moderate dyslexia, through her English GCSE’s in year 11, and as a result of her highly personalised approach, my daughter went up 4 grades. The benefits of Poppy’s teaching were also seen in many of the other subjects that my daughter studied because she was able to help my daughter develop strategies in her approach to reading, comprehension and writing and we saw her confidence develop beyond recognition. My daughter attended the 11+ tutoring in year5, from the first day she loved the sessions. Her abilities and confidence grew throughout the year, the support and belief showed by Lee helped immensely. Great advice on exam techniques, what to expect on the day and a big plus was the children being able to attend mock exams in a very similar set up to what they experience on the day with individually focussed feedback. I started using BLT almost two years ago, to help with my Spanish classes at school. I am able to Skype him online alongside a live Google document so that any of my answers to the grammar questions can be seen by him and marked during the session. I took my dyslexic boy to Paula because he had lost all confidence in himself and point blanked refused to even look at a book. Paula was able to build his confidence in fun game's /activities. I heard him read books for the first time in years and it was a joy to see. My daughter also attended some sessions to give her back confidence and fill some gaps from COVID times , she helped her prep for year six SATs . My daughter is a fantastic reader but a terrible speller and her handwriting isn't great. Paula really helped her to look at what she was writing and how she was forming her letter's and things massively improved for her. We are so thankful for the help she provided for both my children.

Marnie has been an excellent tutor to our daughter for the past seven months (currently in year 2).
