Our garden was badly in need of a makeover. A sloping and uneven lawn, overgrown shrubs, ugly fencing, lack of privacy and impractical patio were some of issues we wanted to address. At our first meeting with Shaun and Callum they took time to really understand our issues and what we wanted to achieve. Unsurprisingly, the design they produced delivered almost exactly what we were looking for and we had no hesitation in engaging them to carry out the work. Sadly, Shaun passed away before the work started and apart from being very upset at his loss we were concerned about the impact this would have on the project. However, Callum calmly reassured us that he and Kieran (his assistant) would be able to complete the work. We decided to go ahead and in just over a month they removed overgrown shrubs, scraped the existing lawn, levelled the ground and laid a new lawn, built a block retaining wall and a raised border edged with sleepers. They also built steps and a sleeper wall and relaid a gravel path. They also moved shrubs around and planted the borders with new trees and shrubs to provide privacy and colour throughout the seasons. During the build we found them to be hardworking, reliable, collaborative, imaginative and personable. They also demostrated their flexibility by allowing our builder to lay our new patio before they had finished their part of the project. We are delighted with our new garden and highly recommend Callum and Kieran for similar garden projects.

Callum and Kieran delivered exactly what we were wanting in our garden remodel. Both worked with us to come up with practical and aesthetic ideas for our previously rundown garden. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and we’ve never dealt with more polite young men. As well as keeping us informed at every stage of the process, they were always keen to ask how each element of the garden would best suit our needs, whilst remaining realistic in what would both look and work best for our space. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and we couldn’t be happier with our new garden, just in time for Summer!

Shaun worked on a large garden project for us and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The project included a large dig-out, building new sleeper walls, installing decking, laying a porcelain tile patio, building new steps and a path, prepping and laying artificial grass, moving a garden shed, planting and much more. We had a blank canvas to start with and a strong idea of what we wanted to achieve. We were not only looking for a cost effective way to get the job done but also looking someone we could work through our ideas with to create a space that was sleek, modern and great for entertaining. We shopped around and got quotes from several landscapers. Shaun’s quote was the best value and his costs were transparent - he kindly itemised the costs for me as well so I knew it wasn’t just a figure pulled out of thin air like some garden quotes can be. Cost aside, what we really liked about Shaun after first meeting him was his upfront, honest and passionate approach to his work which you can see straight away. Shaun was fantastic to work with from day one. He kept us informed every step of the way and his daily updates meant we were always comfortable and reassured with each stage of the work. He understood our brief and was focused on making sure every detail was to our liking. Shaun clearly isn’t just a landscaper and has a real passion for gardens. His knowledge and experience in garden design and planting was especially helpful in helping us decide on a whole range of details during our project. You can tell that Shaun really believes in the importance of outdoor spaces and we had numerous conversations during the project about layout, storage, heating options, materials, lighting, planting, the list goes on! Shaun isn’t the type to rush through things so he can move onto the next job - His willingness and energy to push to make our space the best it could be was there right upto the final day of work. The finished garden is everything we hoped for and more. It’s a complete transformation of the space that has wowed and shocked our family and friends! It’s hard to explain or convey with photos the feel of the completed space. It has a balance and a continuity of materials, textures and themes that give it a real sense of atmosphere and mood - particularly at dusk. It’s a place that we always want to spend time in and feel very lucky to call our own. Thank you Shaun for all your hard work.

Four Seasons carried out work to our Garden earlier this year including new stone walls, stairs, patio and pizza oven area. The job involved some excavation and they were very organised with skips and materials. Matthew, Luke & Liam did a superb job and we’re absolutely thrilled with the result. We liked to be involved with decisions and kept up to date as the job progressed and they patiently discussed ideas and came up with solutions with professionalism and humour. We’ve had work done by other companies previously that wasn’t done right leaving loose flags among other issues but Four Seasons have done the job right and we have no concerns whatsoever over the standard and finish of the work. They are also thoroughly nice people and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or use their services again.

We are delighted with the work carried out on our garden. It was a big job, turning a rather sad & neglected garden into a veritable oasis with a new patio, lawns, pathways, wildflower area, flower beds and planting. Today we had our new lawn supplied and fitted by West Yorkshire Artificial Lawns. From getting a quote by sending pictures and dimensions and then visiting the 24 x 7 outdoor grass display, the whole process was simple and straightforward. A date was agreed and despite the poor weather, a team of installers arrived and got to work. Very quickly the old lawn was removed and the site prepared for the new grass. We also wanted a couple of flower beds at the end of the grass and asked them if they would be kind enough to dig out the old soil and replace it with new topsoil which we had purchased. Not a problem they said, without a doubt going above and beyond the scope of work to lay the lawn. After the work was completed they even hosed down the site, leaving it clean and tidy. As for the finished product more than happy and can highly recommend the entire team from Sales to the Installation guys. Great value for money and a few other companies could learn from you on customer service. It has transformed a small piece of poor lawn into an amazing front garden. Thanks, guys! Remaining task, a trip to the garden centre to purchase shrubs and plants to finish the garden off.

Hi, had three guys from the company to my home to replace a balding, yellow lawn and the results are fantastic. K9 grass looks great and the reinstatement of rotten railway sleepers with pin kerb edging has added to the transformation. Team were polite, no swearing and tidy throughout and on completion. James & John replaced my fence at very short notice. They arrived, gave me a super competitive quote and were back in under a week to complete the job. The finished result was excellent despite horrendous weather and James not being very well. I would have no hesitation in recommending James and his team and I will go nowhere else in the future. We are approaching our 70s now (it had to come sadly!) so we had a plan to improve access around our garden and to minimise future maintenance. This involved changing half of the garden but we wanted the changes to intergate with the remaining untouched part. James and his team sucessfully did this for us and we are absolutely delighted with the results. Throughout the process James, and indeed all members of his team, were approachable, listened to what we wanted, suggested improvements, delivered reliably and on time and were thoroughly professional. As with any job of this sort, there were a few bits of snagging to do but this was undertaken without fuss or delay. A few months on the garden is looking much improved and we can now see a couple of years down the line, when we've got our planting sorted, we'll have a superb, manageable and accessible back garden for our dotage! We recently had garden maintenance for my mother in laws garden. The garden had become overgrown; the borders and other areas were full of weeds and the bushes/plants/hedges were out of control. It was in need of a lot of love and attention. This is exactly what it received from Huddersfield Gardening Services. Cindy and Jacob worked their magic, putting in a phenomenal amount of effort (Jacob was on his hands and knees for what seemed like hours, pulling out all the weeds). Their efforts resulted in a completely weed free and attractive garden. Well done and many thanks.

Justin and his team have just completed my patio, wall and pergola. We are very happy with the finish. We had our patio stone laid on the diagonal so there was more cutting involved for the team but it’s exactly as we wanted it. The team were friendly and approachable for those last minute changes. Stuart worked incredibly hard to transform my garden from plain old grass into a wonderful place where I love spending my time now. Stuart originally did our next door neigbour's garden and we were very impressed with the work so asked him to look at our front garden. He provided guidance and recomnended the best options for extending the drive so that 2 cars can be parked on it. The end result is perfect with a sleeper border which we have yet to put plants in. We had made a start on the back garden and were looking at doing the fencing ourselves but asked Stuart to quote and were more than happy with the price and so he went ahead. Stuart recently converted our very dull front garden into a fantastic outdoor space complete with porcelain tiles, cedar cladding, drystone feature wall and turfed area. We were so thrilled with his immaculate workmanship that we asked him to block pave our drive at the back along with a raised seating area made from our old Yorkshire stone path. Just to finish off, again a turf grassed area was also done. Stuart always goes above and beyond to ensure complete satisfaction every time. Thanks Stuart, you are the best!

Steve was very quick to respond to my query for new turf. Came out and gave a great (competitive) price. Steve and his team arrived when they said they would and cracked on until the job was finished. Professional advice was given on how to maintain a new lawn. The results are great. Very please with Steve’s work and would recommend to anyone.
