I visited this practice for the first time today after not seeing a dentist for around eight years. I was dreading the appointment as obviously I should have not left it so long and expected that I would need some well overdue treatment ! I was very impressed with Dr Rafiq and his colleague Rachael. Following an assessment xray, he explained in great detail the current condition relating to my dental health and gave me several treatment options. He was extremely thorough and put me at ease despite my discomfort. I look forward to visiting again in 3 months.

Really friendly reception staff who make you feel very welcome and even offer a cup of tea. My dentist is wonderful and very friendly and is taking great care of me, with my anxiety. Highly recommend.

Great dentists. A little expensive but keeping my pearly whites in shape is worth every penny.

Great Dentist practice. Receptionist is always very organised, polite and cheerful. Dr Ahmed is always professional and chatty to put you at ease. Treatment is always good and I never feel pressured to have a treatment, sometimes good advice is offered instead. The Dental nurses are also cheerful and supportive. Just a positive experience.

Had to go in for 2 fillings today and was so nervous! However, Dr Asam was so lovely and really put my mind at ease - I didn't even feel the needles go in! Super professional and way less stressful than I expected it to be. The receptionist was also lovely :)

Gave this practice a very negative review years back but it has improved so much in the last couple of years. Never waiting long for an appointment. My dentist treats me with care and kindness after I've had many traumatic experiences with other dentists. It really makes all the difference to the patient's to know we are in good hands, with clinicians we can trust so thank you so much to the dentist who works on the ground floor (sorry I forgot his name!). And to the nurses too!

I’m sorry but the negative reviews on here are false, I have to say from the moment you walk in you are welcomed by the staff. Dr Ahmed is fantastic he makes me feel at ease as I’m a nervous wreck on my appointments. He’ll explain everything in great detail nothing is too much trouble. I had my wisdom teeth removed he did a great job no issues afterwards, he explained the after care process in detail nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend.

Mr Hunjan is a very experienced and skilled dentist, I recently visited with an excruciating wisdom tooth pain which had also been infected. The infection had spread to the Jaw and neck. Mr Hunjan took an X-ray and explained the issue and risks before continuing to advanced surgical bone removal. Was done swiftly and smoothly within 30minutes, explained aftercare procedure prescribed me antibiotics and all done. Visited several dentist prior to have this issue addressed but the removal or treatment of the wisdom tooth was too risky or complicated and was avoided by the other dentists only to be prescribed antibiotics and advised to visit the hospital. Mr Hunjan is the best out there and any issue big or small has dealt with before with nearly 40years experience.

I Booked an emergency appointment to look at a tooth which turned out to be an infected WISDOM Tooth that had be troubling me for months and was seen by DR Hunjan on the 19th. He examined me and took xrays and explained all the options in which I chose to try and save it, during the follow up with other options Explained in detail I opted to extract the tooth ( with 3 roots) yesterday (Fastest extraction I have had- Didn't notice it was out). Mr. Hunjan is very professional , Highly exerperienced , Pays attention to details and in my Sister's (a Dentist's) words "A very Good Dentist🤩 and Great Job👏"

A good clean practice. With good parking. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Daisy is a first class dentist as well as being friendly and warm. She explains all treatment well. Also very accommodating and tries hard to make my appointments around my schedule. Twice I have needed emergency treatment for broken teeth and the practice has accommodated me quickly

I have been a patient of theirs for a number of years now and am constantly impressed by the professionalism and caring, sensitive and knowledgeable approach of their dental nurses when I ring up with a concern, and during visits, as well as to the sensitive and caring approach of the dentist I see, Richard. I am drawn to write a review today after experiencing exceptional service prior to and during an appointment for emergency dental care. I have chronic health issues and associated disability and extra support needs in terms of accessing dental care and they could not do enough for me to make everything accessible and a stress free (and even pleasant!) experience. Thank you to Richard (dentist) and to all the team who supported me in today's appointment and the lead up to it, and generally over the years I've been a patient with you.

A big recommendation for the BUPA Mytholmroyd team, especially Richard Shaw. He is always pleasant, informative and readily puts you at ease. He has been our family dentist for years and our adult children still want to see him rather than transfer elsewhere!

Extremely happy!!! I took all my 4 children for a check up today, my children were very nervous and scared but Lena and Mandy made them feel at ease and were absolutely brilliant with them. The dentist was very helpful and explained in detail to my 9 year old daughter why she isn’t able to have her braces just yet due to her still having some baby teeth. My daughter felt really reassured as she has been really struggling the past few months and her confidence level was very low due to how her teeth look. The dentist together with the nurse told my 9 year old daughter she is very beautiful and my daughter left feeling very confident. The treatment my children all got today was beyond amazing and I can’t thank Lena and Mandy enough. All my children left smiling today. I highly recommend this dentist practice as they are very compassionate, kind, caring, and professional. So happy my family are registered here. If I could give these ladies more than 5 stars then I would definitely be giving them a 100.

I had my first appointment at this dental surgery today and I honestly can't begin to say how brilliant they are. My dentist was called Ben and apologies, I can't remember the name of his assistant/nurse but they were such a good team, reassuring and thorough and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist. Took my 3 yr old daughter to the her first appointment at the practice this afternoon. Having had difficult visits at a previous practice where my daughter wasn't reassured and wouldn't open her mouth to be checked. From the get go of the visit at Whitehill Practice my daughter was reassured, time and effort was taken to inform her of everything that was happening and why. As a result my daughter had a teeth fully checked and came out smiling and talking about having had her teeth checked. Was equally as happy with her sticker. Thank you team, I am so pleased I have moved to your practice.

My kids starts to going there ,they are absolutly brilliant !my son is 7 he was so scared to see any dentist cos it was his first time but they treat him so good with great friendly conversation ,he got sticker for being so brave .They are so nice ,also recepcionist was so lovely and friendly .I am on the waiting list to them ,i just cant wait going there 🥰❤ Thank you for what you doing guys for ppl ❤ you all deserve lots of more ❤🥰

The most friendliest reception staff & simply an amazing dentist. I have nothing but praise. I've always been scared of dentists but not here! I've always been made to feel completely at ease. Furthermore, I've been able to book at last minute & even though I had a gap in visits they were still so welcoming on my return & brilliant with my little boy too. Not only that, even though they are extremely busy and stretched beyond with appointments the dentist still added my little boys dad to his patient lists. Truly grateful!! Thank you so much!

The best dentist practise! The staff are just the absolute best. The ladies on reception always go above and beyond to help where they can and accommodate appointments. They listen and understand and are always sp friendly and welcoming, putting you at ease for any treatment. The dentist himself is great.
