Have just visited St James Dental Practice after a very long time away and it was polite and friendly as it has always been. Also, it was the very first time we would be meeting our new dentist, and what a charming person. I am not a great fan of having to “open wide” and do suffer slight panic attacks, but he was warm and kind and made me feel at ease. So a BIG thank you to all at the practice…

I've just called the Practice to reschedule my next appointment as my usual dentist has left. I spoke to a lovely lady on reception called Sam. How refreshing it was to speak with someone who listened, was polite and took the time to reschedule my appointment to a time that was convenient for me with a dentist that I was happy with. I only registered with this Practice a year ago, but my experience so far has been great.

Amazing dentist. I am the worst patient, having experienced some horrors in the past. Robin is by far the best dentist I have met in my 50+ years of life! He really does help to put you at ease, and his experience is phenomenal! Thank you Robin for being so understanding and calming, and also for the amazing work you do. I meant what I said! You're never allowed to retire as long as I've got teeth in my head, and I'm breathing 😂

Not being a fan of the dentist since a terrible experience at an early age, I’ve always had a terrible fear. Nick and the team are amazing. Nick is kind and has the patience of a saint. He’s direct and he talks you through everything you need to know with no fluff and fuss. Thank you for making it easy to be less nervous and give me the ability to (almost) look forward to my visits. I may live miles away but I will always be happy to travel for my appointments with you.

I’m new to St James and have only been twice after having seen a private dentist during Covid Times as no one would take on new patients. I had called St James some time last year, wanting to ask how long the waitlist was for new patients and was pleasantly surprised when I heard that there wasn’t really one and that I could be seen shortly after I called. Visiting any dentist always makes me feel nervous but even though I’m only new here, I’ve felt very welcome and well looked after each time, with the dentist and nurse ensuring I’m ok and explaining everything as they went along. To me, this means a lot and makes me feel more at ease.
