I was in a car accident, got knocked off my bike and suffered several injuries including the loss of 2 front teeth and another fractured and displaced. This resulted in a lengthy process including root canal, extraction, splinting and implant surgery. The dentists and nurses were caring and delivered amazing care through my treatment. They made me feel safe and comfortable through such a trauma. Huge thanks to Ben, Alistair, and Bernadette i can’t thank them enough. I would highly recommended this practise!

I can recommend this dental practice especially Dr Ben Davies who happily removed swollen gum on my lower molar. It healed quickly and no pain. He is well experienced and also explains things well. Very reassured

My dentist referred me to The Wessex Dental Specialist Centre for a tooth extraction. From my initial consultation to removing the tooth, everyone was lovely. The girls at the reception were warm and welcoming. Richard and his team were totally amazing. I was very anxious about the procedure, but Richard and his dental nurses were brilliant. They made sure I was relaxed and looked after me. They even made me laugh. :-) A BIG thank you to you all.

I had two wisdom teeth extracted here. The service and welcome I received were amazing on both visits. The nursing team Kirsty and Natasha were friendly, explained things clearly and were reassuring. Richard Ramsey was outstanding..both teeth extracted in no time, even with one being cut in half…explained everything clearly and put me at ease. What a great team. Thankyou all.

After an unfortunate accident to my front tooth 2 ys ago, I was desperate to find someone who could repair the complex damage, having seen 2 other dentists previously, who had failed to resolve the issues. I found Rob Hannah online, and after an initial consultation & sideways CT scan, he identified the issue with my tooth, and has worked tirelessly to address the issues, restoring my teeth and appearance & subsequently my confidence. His empathy and kindness throughout my treatment has been second to none, and his professional expertise has been excellent and pain free, despite a number of complex operations. A big thank you to Rob and his excellent team, from Wendy on the Isle of Wight (I travel to Southampton to see Rob, he’s absolutely worth it !!).

I would highly recommend this practice. I find dental appointments extremely stressful, but the care, patience & compassion given by all the staff is incredible. They don’t make you feel silly for being nervous, they explain in simple terms what they’re doing & why and every single member of staff are really caring, helpful and friendly. I recently had 2 extractions (which I was dreading), but they talked me through it, listened to my concerns, helped me stay calm and made it much easier than I had anticipated. I’ve had some very difficult experiences at previous Dentists, so to find a practice where I am listened to and cared for is a real game changer for me. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!

The reception and dentistry staff are all very friendly, kind and understanding. I am sure they are all excellent, but in my experience Jade, Shannon, Adnan, Loretta and Sammi really put you at ease. And I really appreciate their clear communication so I understand my dental health and what I need to do to support it. I feel confident that a visit to them means I’m in safe hands. Here’s two examples of their work I really appreciated. First, I was so nervous for my very first new patient consultation - but chatting with Jade really helped me feel welcome and relaxed. Honestly, that really meant a lot to me and was an excellent first impression that has lasted. And secondly, they very kindly kept my appointment even though I was running very late just before doors closed. And my wisdom tooth extraction with Adnan and Loretta went very smoothly! I felt so worried as it was my first ever major dental procedure, but I needn’t have as they took great care in their work even thought it was the last thing in the working day. I’ve been coming to Oceana Boulevard Dentist for around 10 years now! I’ve always been an extremely nervous patient, but with each visit, I find myself feeling less and less anxious. My 8 year old daughter also goes to the same practice and absolutely loves it here. She’s had a few procedures, and we’ve never had any issues. I had to come in for a tooth extraction after my tooth fractured. They were very helpful with walking me through the process and were very welcoming to the fact I have a fear of needles and handled it very well. They talked to me while having the procedure and made me feel a lot more relaxed as they removed the tooth.

As a very nervous patient with many bad experiences in the past I was extremely nervous about restarting my dental journey, but I can honestly say my experience at VIDA has been exceptional. From the first consultation with James right through to today's session with Summer the hygienist, it's been a very good experience and I don't say that lightly! My concerns have been listened to and I was never made to feel silly for being so anxious I was offered sedation and anaesthetic and I felt like I was cared for every step. The results so far are great and the work continues and I'm confident that for the first time in my life I may well end up with a confident smile. I highly recommend the team at VIDA especially if you're someone that feels a bit anxious and hasn't managed to see a dentist for a while.

You can rely on Innovate dental studio to provide a first class service. Both the dentists and hygienist deliver a professional, caring, formative and supportive role and always make sure that you are comfortable and as pain-free as possible whilst there. The receptionists do their utmost to help too. I would never go anywhere else and have been treated here for almost 18 years.

Lisa and Molly made me feel at ease with the treatment I was receiving. Checked on me throughout. After care was superb making sure I was ok before leaving. Couldn't recommend these guys more. Unreal service from start to finish. The lady on reception is also very lovely and helpful.

Excellent service. No private dentist is 'cheap' but at Crofton the administrative staff are very polite and helpful, the hygienist service is really good and Basil the dentist is a fine craftsman. He carefully explains what's going on inside your mouth, showing photos to illustrate any work he recommends and his ability to make fillings look like the actual tooth, both in colour and shape, is outstanding.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience with Dr. Basil and his wonderful nurse today! I was quite nervous about my composite filling, especially because I tend to gag easily, but they were incredibly patient and understanding throughout the entire process. Dr. Basil was gentle, reassuring, and highly skilled, making the procedure as smooth and comfortable as possible. I truly appreciate their kindness and professionalism—highly recommend this fantastic team!

Great first experience at the practice today. The second I walked in the receptionist was very friendly. Eddy the dentist was very knowledgeable, he took lots of time to find out prior history and do lots of checks. Was interesting to even see my teeth on the camera and have a real understanding of my teeth. The dental nurse was also very friendly and enjoyed speaking with both of them. I had a check up appointment with Eddie today who I felt was very thorough. As a smoker I worry about mouth cancer and Eddie carried out all the relevant checks. I then had Leanne the hygienist, who had some concerns regarding a whitish patch on the back of my throat (only a hygienist would be able to see this due to the angle and lighting she was using). She promptly asked Eddie to take a look and he prescribed some oral thrush medication. It appeared that the infection was hanging round from a course of antibiotics, even though the dr had already prescribed oral thrush treatment some time ago. A big thanks to both for your professionalism and great care that I received today.

Lighthouse Dental has been incredible since I rejoined the practise. On the two occasions that i’ve had to ring and arrange an emergency appointment for my little girl not once have they hesitated to squeeze me in on the same day, not only to treat my daughter with her trauma but put mine and my wife’s minds at rest. The whole team from the two behind the welcome desk to the dentist(s) is exceptional. I had a very nice experience, the two Doctors where very friendly. They took me throughout the whole process including the 3D scan of my teeth. The best part was the advice part which I found very fulfilling since my Gap was a bit higher than the average. They advice me that the aligners may not be suitable for me but rather see an orthodontist for a fine results. Either way It was lovely experience and I recommend the twenty dental care in Portsmouth🥂
