From Helen Richards I have been having my haircut at Barnets for many years now and know what a great team they are and always happy. Chantelle who is a young new member of the team cut my hair last week and what a great job. No nerves as I have very thick and quite difficult hair to cut. She listened to me and just got on with it. First visit. Tucked down Bemister St. Just off the High St. This salon is now definitely my go-to place for top to toe hair and beauty treatments. Stylish modern decor alongside friendly and welcoming staff my visit was pure pleasure. Stylist Chantelle made me look red carpet glam, and Meg gave me the prettiest sparkly nails 💅 ✨️. My wife bought me a full body massage and a facial for my birthday and I have just had it at The Beauty Boutique. The quality of the treatment from Amie was astonishingly good; as good as I've had from top city boutiques. I asked to lose 10 years, which didn't happen 🥴 but I left feeling like I had. It's a fantastic gem of a business in our small village. Don't hesitate to book.

Absolutely amazing! Went for a dye and trim and absolutely love the results! All of the staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating, Lisa was great with helping me pick my colour (especially helpful as this was my first time dyeing my hair), Charlie was also lovely and patient when washing the dye out and Lucy at the front desk made me feel welcome, would definitely recommend and would definitely come again!

Mum and I were booked in for a hard skin removal treatment, but they said we really didn't need it, as our feet were pretty good, so we saved a little money. Lovely pedicure, very friendly, approachable staff. Will definitely be going back.

Had the most glorious treat today, 2 hours with Anna at KP Affinity Beauty, relaxing with a beautiful head to toe massage. I called to book the treatment and the staff on the phone were veey helpful, despite me not having the voucher number to hand, seemed very enthusiastic. Not used to treating myself in this way, i was a little apprehensive but the lady on the phone enthused joy i had booked, which made feel excited to attend. The salon was extremely welcoming from the moment I walked in, felt at ease immediately. The room was relaxing, nearly fell asleep on numerous occasions and really soaked up the relaxation and time out. Thorough recommend and will definately be booking again 🥰😊

Niamh always does my nails and every time pulls off the design effortlessly. I have come in previously with a drawn out plan with a different design on each nail and Niamh was able to not only create it exactly as imagined but to go beyond my expectations for the design. I’m never disappointed when I leave the appointments and I always get compliments on the nails wherever I go. Couldn’t recommend her enough.

Amazing experience here, the phone call before to book was informative and helpful, booked 2 appointments 1st was a consultation and patch test because I've never visited this hairdressers before, 2nd appointment was 2 days later. 1st appointment I was greeted with smiles and asked to sit down and a stylist came straight away, we chatted and made decisions about what I wanted done. 2nd appointment again was greeted with smiles and sat down again spoke with the stylist and after bringing me a hot drink she went straight in with what I wanted which was a root colour and trim, I was made to feel comfortable and the stylist was pleasent and chatty I had a lovely experience and when I was done I absolutely love the colour of my hair and very happy with the trim. I will definitely be using this hairdressers again many thanks

Andrew and his team are amazing. They make you feel comfortable from the minute you enquire. I’ve always been nervous visiting salons due to bad experiences in the past. But I’ve now been visiting for over 3 years and I wouldn’t let anyone else touch my hair. You are made to feel welcome, you can relax and you feel like you really matter. And what’s better Andrew has won some awards too. Prices are slightly higher than what you may be used to, however you definitely get what you pay for. And that’s quality. Andrew is a very humble genius! He really took the time to listen and understand what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations. I am so happy with my colour after 8 years of bad colour with many high end salons (my hairdresser before this gave up hairdressing). I am so happy to have the perfect colour and he was just brilliant. Worth the 1.5 hr drive for sure.

I absolutely adore going into Hair and Beauty at the Cabin. Am always made to feel like part of the family and look forward to my appointments hugely. Charlotte has been cutting and colouring my hair for years now and always does an amazing job. Also, my daughter who actually lives in Edinburgh, waits until she comes home as she doesn't trust anyone but Charlotte to do her hair. Both Holly and Hannah are wonderful with my nails and my constant colour indecision. I can't imagine ever going anywhere else!

Amazing salon to go to, staff are all fantastic and great at what they do with the most friendliest atmosphere. Nothing is to big or too small for them they all have patience of a saint especially when it comes to the children who are very loud and don't sit still. Me and the children have been going since it opened and will be going here for years to come as we've been made to feel so welcome like we are friends now not just clients.
