Boom Hair team not fazed by water cock up today They had lots of colours to be washed off when the water failed No dramas they organised their back up water and all went smoothly and with good cheer! A valiant effort to Sammy Donna and their lovely team! I have been coming here for 23 years and would never go anywhere else!

Boom we're amazing. My wife's hair had become extremely matted to the extent we thought it couldn't be saved. We needed somewhere close to Southampton as my wife has been in hospital. The staff were brilliant, explaining what was happening and the options available. They ended up saving her hair which she was still able to have shoulder length. We would thoroughly recommend!

So a bit of back story... My son is extremely difficult when having his haircut. So much so that before Christmas he had haircut, the hairdresser had to give up because he kept thrashing around. The end result was pretty poor. Not entirely satisfied with the outcome, my wife suggested taking him to Boom to see if they could fix it. So off I go, filled with dread. I'd like to think that Boom were more than forewarned, but I had to reinforce to them about what was to happen. My son didn't disappoint. He cried and screamed, and was inconsolable, but SammyJo came to the rescue. It was really difficult under the circumstance, but I was really impressed with what she'd done. I would definitely go back, but I'm sure they would prefer it I don't come back too soon.

If you are looking for beauty treatments, pedicure, facial, massage etc you will not regret going to Body and Soul. My facial yesterday with Claire was the best one ever… and I see her regularly. I ‘floated’ out of the salon yesterday as chilled as can be. Go there !!!!

Claire is amazing, as are the rest of the team. I have been going here for 8 years and I have always been made to feel welcome, at ease and rested! Nothing is too much trouble and you feel like a new person when you leave. Most importantly they care about you and your experience and they do that with the upmost professionalism and expertise. This was a much needed treat for myself and my friend after 5 weeks of radiotherapy. Emma was absolutely phenomenal and made me feel so comfortable from the moment I walked in the door until the moment i left. Working in the industry I know how it can feel having to work around clients who are poorly with cancer and I can only commend Emma for her people skills. I really hope to see her again before I finish n my treatment and go back to jersey. Thanks again Emma for going above and beyond and making me feel truly relaxed after my week from hell xxx

I was greeted with a smile and made to feel comfortable from the word go. Melissa was friendly but remained professional. The massage was heavenly, she massaged using just the right amount of pressure which made the whole experience very relaxing and comfortable. My shoulders prior to the massage were very tense but after they felt so much better. It was just what I needed with being a new mum and always on the go. I will definitely come back for the same again very soon. Thank you very much :)

Wanted to have eyebrows microbladed for quite sometime. I found Katie Jayne, I explained what I wanted and didnt want, also not having anything done like this before, I was apprehensive. She completely put me at ease, explained everything fully at each step of the process. I feel she is very knowledgeable, certainly understands her clients Now I have eyebrows that look natural and Im so pleased with what she has done !!

Cannot thoroughly recommend Katie enough, was very professional made me feel at ease as I was very nervous about getting my eyebrows done, I absolutely love them she has done a fantastic job going from having virtually none to full eyebrows would definitely go back in the future if needed.

I was recommend Katie by a makeup artist as someone fantastic to see for microblading brows. I went for a consultation and instantly decided to schedule an appointment to have them done due to Katie’s expertise and professionalism. I couldn’t be happier with the results from my brows but more than that, the process with Katie was so professional; the consultation, the diligence, the cleanliness and the advice - she’s brilliant. I now see Katie for nails, tanning, brows and planning to book other treatments in as and when needed! Having lived in central London for 20 years and only recently moved to Southhampton, I was hopeful to find someone locally and I can certify that Katie is amazing!! She does the best manicures I have EVER had; the finish is impeccable, she achieves a beautiful shape and they last for ages. She loves what she does and it shows. Not forgetting she is utterly lovely person too!!

I had a facial with Mel today and was so impressed by how tailored it was to my skin and by how much use she made of the treatment time - no putting a face mask on and disappearing for 15 minutes - I got a lovely hand and arm massage. My skin still feels (and smells!) amazing and I'm so relaxed. Highly recommend, can't wait to rebook. Fiona Duncan
