First dental experience with Paul Glover (apart from the standard check-up) was a wisdom tooth extraction! - well this was recommended, but on a second consult it was agreed to try a less dramatic approach so we opted to try just a drill and fill first. Appointment went well, wisdom tooth nerve was unintentionally exposed. After filling, there was an initial 24 hours of serious pain as expected but with a mix of Ibuprofen/Paracetamol it took the edge off, and eventually the pain subsided. Very happy with the painfree injections - Paul is super careful not to hurt those of us unfortunate enough to have very sensitive teeth 😲 and keeps you well informed about every everything he is doing or going to do, so no surprises.

I had two treatments, a filling and an extraction. both were painless and very well done! Very happy and I am looking forward to having some cosmetic work done. Would recommend

My husband and I visited Umi Dental Clinic and were incredibly impressed by the exceptional quality of care and the warm, welcoming attitude of the team. Their attention to detail and patient-centered approach was unlike anything we've experienced with previous dentists or even our GP. I visited in Umi in November 2024 to arrange some hormonal blood tests to be taken. As soon as I arrived, I was struck by the pristine and modern environment within the clinic. During and before my visit, each member or staff I spoke to were welcoming, friendly and compassionate. I saw Vicky for two appointments and she took the time to talk me through the blood testing process and potential results. Natalie took the time to telephone me between sessions to discuss things further. Given the sensitivities of the topic at hand, I was touched by the teams personal and empathetic approach to my appointments. I would not hesitate to recommend Umi and I am sure I will visit again in the future.

Only negative comment would be that I noticed the hygienist assistant didn’t wash her hands before putting gloves on but hopefully this was a ‘one off’ occurrence.

As a lady in her 50s I have always had a deep fear of ths dentist since I was a little girl. I have recently joined solent after not being happy and contented with my last dentist. Well I'm blown away by my lovely dentist Dr Susan hesleton at solent. What a gem of a dentist with such professionalism ,caring nature and highly experienced in her field of general dentistry and gum health. I have finally found a dentist I can feel completely comfortable and even more than that she has really helped me with my phobia of the dentist. It's still there but getting better each time I visit her for treatment. Thankyou so much solent , I would recommend you to anyone looking for the best dental experience out there. I feel blessed to have found Dr Susan Hesleton and will be forever grateful for her looking after me so well. Even better the injections were painless!😃 and I'm not as nervous now when I think of the dentists chair.

Hello to all at the Petersfield practice. I have never written a review of any kind before, but I feel I need to today. Im sitting here with my mouth still rather numb from my work earlier and I feel that I should send a message to Nicky and her assistant (sorry I forgot your name 😬) to say how grateful I am for them both. Im a slightly ‘nervous’ patient when it comes to dentistry, but Nicky is so good/kind/thoughtful….. (the list goes on!) that I don’t feel scared like I used to with my previous dentist (a completely different practice in a different town). I had 2 very old fillings removed and replaced and I must say it was the very best experience I’ve ever had at any dentist. Nicky’s assistant was so professional and considerate during the treatment as well, saying things like “you can rest your mouth now” and gently tapping my jaw so I can close my mouth or have a quick swallow. Also im really pleased to see a new poster back up on the ceiling as it gives me something to look at and distract me while Nicky is working. And as for the girls on the reception team, they are so polite, professional and tolerant of me with my stupid questions! So to everyone at Damira Petersfield, keep up the good work, and thank you all for helping me keep my teeth in good order.

All the staff at the surgery are knowledgeable & friendly. Nicky has been looking after my mouth for some time & I completely trust her to do whatever is necessary in a painless & compassionate way. She is particularly careful when doing injections & checking the area is numb before proceeding. She explains what she is doing, is considerate of my needs whilst doing any procedure & my mouth never feels overly full. She is professional & keeps up to date on new advancements to ensure she can offer the best treatment possible.

With uneven and discoloured front teeth, I had been embarrassed by my smile for years. So, when the opportunity arose to consider improving them, I approached Nicky May at Damira in Petersfield to discuss the possibility of veneers. As my regular dentist, Nicky was the natural choice for me. I knew from experience that I could trust her to act in my best interests, give me sound advice and to deliver an exemplary service. After an initial consultation, two appointments were scheduled to undertake the works. The first was preparatory; to discuss the requirements, colour match, prepare the teeth for the veneers and to complete the laboratory specification. Temporary teeth were then fitted for the interim period. A fortnight later, I attended the second appointment at which the temporaries were removed and the new veneers applied. Whilst the fitting process clearly required excellent planning and precision timing, Nicky carried out the work in her usual calm, organised, experienced and professional manner. The entire process was pain free and I felt informed and consulted throughout. Thanks to Nicky (and the supporting team) I am now the proud owner of four brand new, evenly matched front teeth and a smile I can be proud of again.

Looking forward to seeing a dentist isn't my usual feeling but going to Hampshire Dentist is a very different experience. Firstly the reception team are friendly and efficient putting everyone at ease. My treatment was painfree and I also learned a lot from Dr Rob as he skillfully went about restoring a bridge. His knowledge and state of the art equipment is very impressive. More visits will be needed and I can honestly say I look forward to seeing Dr Rob and his colleagues again.

Friendly and welcoming staff. The dentist Massoud is very patient and gentle. Had two crown fitted and was extremely nervous. Just been for my 6 months check up and all is well. I even made an appointment with the hygienist, which I never did before. But apparently she's amazing and very gentle.

Just joined this practice this week and oh my goodness what caring friendly people, made me feel right at home. I am hoping to stay here for some time. I chose this dental practice because the reviews were excellent and I am very happy to share my first impressions. Greated nicely on my arrival and the nurse Lidia looked after me initially for the x-rays. Lidia explained what was shown on the x-rays and made sure I understood. The dental surgeon, Ad then came to see me and examined my teeth and then offered 2 treatment options. There was no pressure to choose either option and I was able to make a decision that was right for me. Actually think I will look forward to my appointments, who would ever say that about visiting a dentist!

I have started using Waterside Dental Practice recently in the last few months. I have found them to be friendly, professional everything you would hope for. I have in my latter years become a little phobic of the dentist. So when I had a panic whilst being treated by Ourania Maraki she stopped, reassured me and found another way to treat me that didn't affect me. No fuss, no hastle but understanding and care. I have been coming to this practice for many years and I have always been a very nervous patient. I worry for days before my appointment but when I get there everyone is always so lovely and kind that I have never turned around and ran back out of the door!. The improvements to the building have been amazing and given the surgery a polished look and feel. Dr Jinal Patel has such a calm and reassuring nature and her dental assistants Laura and recently Jordon are always kind and gentle. I have been seeing Lucy the hygienist who is also lovely and gives good advice. The reception staff are smart, professional and always friendly and helpful.
