Very happy after invisalign treatment, whitening and bonding. Melina & Jade were the best! Jason was exceptional too. Very friendly, extremely professional and the results are worth every penny. From start to finish everything about Smile Makers is fields ahead of previous dental experiences.

This is by far the best dentist I have been to. I have a severe needle phobia and bad experiences in the past with dentists made me nervous. Nikos and he's assistant was amazing telling me what they were doing each step of the way and have the patience of a saint. Bernice was fabulous at giving me the information and reassurance inbetween appointments. I finally have my smile back after an accident broke my tooth in half, thank you smile makers!

I was very pleased with my recent appointment with the dental hygienist. It was a great experience, probably the best I've had at any dental practice. Both Naz and her nurse assistant were gentle and kind. They were also patient and understanding with my disability. I would recommend them and this practice to anyone.

Following recommendation from 2 close friends I went for a free consultation with Dr. Jeff O’Connell as my front bridge of 30 years was broken and in danger of falling out. I was extremely worried that my weak dental bone structure would mean that my only option would be a denture. However, Dr. Jeff gave me the confidence that a new bridge was definitely possible. So, following an extensive treatment plan, 4 months later (I had a few planned trips in the summer), I now have a new smile! It includes a new front bridge (5 teeth) and 2 new crowns. I also needed root canal treatment. All the staff I have seen have been very explanatory and caring, including the dental nurses. I didn’t feel worried at any stage of my treatment. It has definitely been an excellent team effort led by Dr. Jeff. Giselle and Jess are a very welcoming reception team, keeping me informed if it was necessary to make any changes to appointment times. I would highly recommend The Dental Group to family and friends. The quality of my new bridge has left me feeling very confident as it feels very stable and comfortable. Outstanding service- thank you. I needed an emergency appointment due to severe tooth ache and was able seen at 11am the same day. Dental nurse and dentist were great - quickly establishing I needed root canal treatment and booked me in for the following afternoon. Later that day the pain became increasingly worse. When asking if there was anything they could do to help they offered me an earlier appointment (outside of usual hours) that evening to start the treatment and alleviate the pain - above and beyond customer service! The procedure itself was pain-free and over within 1.5hrs. I’m now waiting for the 2nd appointment in a couple weeks.

I am a nervous patient but Emma and her team treated me with kindness, understanding and care. Had a wisdom tooth extraction under sedation and didn’t feel a thing - perfect! Thank you for helping to rebuild my confidence. Highly recommend

I have been wanting to see someone about my teeth for years. My initial consultation with Dawie was amazing, the time that went into that appointment was brilliant and I come away wanting to go ahead immediately. The process was so easy, from getting my Invisalign to scanning at home and moving to each set of aligners. We still had regular appointments but this fit in so much better with my lifestyle, then going every 10 days to the practice. The process from start to finish was very straightforward and my teeth were completed in 8 months. I have used this practice for over 30 Yrs as I had implants fitted over time the teeth were wearing away didn’t now if anything could be done to bring back my smile …. My Nieces and Nephews were saying why have you lost your top teeth !!! I have recently completed my treatment with Dawie to straighten my teeth using Invisalign, finished with composite bonding on 6 teeth. I couldn’t be happier with the results, the difference speaks for itself. The nhs dentist Anthony chu was amazing he was so polite and made myself and my additional needs children comfortable. He was slow talking and in a wonderful mannerism that the children understood and asked them directly if they had any problems or concerns he made them feel included and secure. Myself has always struggled with dentists however he made me feel comfortable and at ease he is an asset and great credit to my dentists

I have attended this practice for many years. The dentists are always kind and helpful explaining the treatment they are going to carry out. I also use Jayne the hygienist who helps me keep my gums healthy and my teeth scale free! If there is one frustration it would be when appointments are cancelled but they always do their best to find me a suitable alternative.

I booked an emergency appointment, and could be seen just a few hours later, and at a reasonable price for an emergency. I was diagnosed there and then and my tooth extracted immediately. The Dr and Nurse were very caring and comforting as I was nervous. I was provided with really good aftercare advice and felt very supported. I think the price was very reasonable and will definitely use MyDentist again. Thank you for all your help - I feel so much better now!!

You where perfect in every way and helped settle a mum (who was a bag of nerves) No words can describe Neil who was beyond amazing, was by my sons side from start to finish, talked him through every step, gave him five when required. I have been with this surgery for many years after a recommendation from a friend. I see Neil who is very friendly, caring and a brilliant dentist. I don't say that lightly as I have always been scared of dentists due to past experiences; however Neil immediately puts you at ease.

I visited the practice today as a new patient and I must say that it was so nice and really refreshing to be treated not just as another patient, but as an individual. I did not feel rushed at any stage of my visit, and Sanjay was very kind to take the time to provide me with a small filling at the same visit. After being an NHS patient all of my life, I was somewhat apprehensive about switching to private dental care, however, it was an investment well spent to receive excellent treatment from a team who’s focus is completely on patient care.

Best dentist surgery by a distance, from someone who drives down from Basingstoke. Been coming for years and years - once I rang Sanjay at the weekend with severe tooth pain (NHS had not rung me back for the whole week) - got me to pop along Monday, prescribed me antibiotics and never charged me for his time or the weekend call. This was years ago, and I attended another dentist for a year but ended up coming back despite living far away - I couldn't trust another dentist when they said loads of work needed and hygienist clean is required, when Sanjay disagreed and said it didn't need any work. Super honest, friendly staff. Genuinely hope they both never retire!

Been coming to south cliff for nearly a year. I've always had a positive experience. I had some fillings done and the dentist is very gentle and very knowledgeable. She takes the time to explain the x-rays and gave me advice on how to best take care of my teeth. I recommend anyone to come here.
