I would highly recommend Manchester Carpentry. I recently had underfloor heating installed and needed the manifold to be boxed in to stop it getting damaged and to make the area look tidier. Arj responded quickly, came out to measure promptly and gave me a competitive quote. The work was done within a week to a high standard. Had my old door removed and they built a like for like with accoya wood with a couple of design changes that I asked for. They took out the out stain glass and incapsulated it into a double glaze unit. The final result was amazing. When the guys installed the door it didn’t quite fit but they came out and rectified it without any issue. Great bunch to deal with, professional, high quality work and highly recommended.

We have shivered in our sitting room for years, but no more! GB joinery replaced our beautiful old window sashes with beautiful new, double glazed and painted ones. The conservatory roof was in danger of collapse. Rob and Tony moved work to fit my job in. They removed the glass roof and replaced it with an insulated composite tile roof. They were 100% reliable, turning up when they said and working diligently each day. They were tidy and respected my property clearing up each day before they left. I was away for part of the job and had no qualms about leaving them a key. When they had finished, the new room and windows were all cleaned and the paths pressure washed to get rid of debris. They kept within budget and the finished job is superb!

Romiley Joinery made and fitted an external door and frame and a window and frame for me soon after I moved into my very old house, in which nothing is standard sized. They were very helpful in advising me about what would work best and I am very happy with the finished result. These guys have measured, fitted and finished all our windows and two doors. The windows when delivered were clearly superbly constructed and finished. The installation and finishing teams did a fantastic job, tidying up after themselves as they went along - and the overall finish of all the work done is fantastic. They have done lots of other work around us, all of which still looks great, so hopefully ours will wear as well! Lots of very positive comments from neighbours who may well now have work done themselves. Proper craftsmanship - a remarkable contrast with the old upvc installations they removed! The team are a pleasure to deal with and have in our home, keeping things as clean and tidy as possible. Customer service has always been brilliant, professional and good humoured, lots of laughter whilst getting the job done! Pat has done work for me over the last 10 years and he is quite simply the only person I would trust to work on my house. The one time I did not use him (because he was busy) he had to come and sort out the mess left behind by the previous builder. Might not be the cheapest BUT you get what you pay for. Always listens to what you want, makes suggestions and is a really nice guy.
