I cannot recommend West London Carpentry enough. From start to finish they have been a dream to work with. Tim and Lazslo did a great job interpreting our design – which was quite complex given the awkward area, however we are delighted with the results. The carpenter and decorator were lovely – extremely polite and professional and have done a fantastic job. I cannot recommend WLC enough – I have been showing off our new study / storage area to everyone who visits and our friends and family are all amazed with the results. Great value for money too. We will be using WLC again for future carpentry projects.

Just had an amazing floor-to-ceiling cupboard made by West London Carpentry and can highly recommend them for any carpentry service needed. They build made-to-measure and the process is very straight forward. They have a lot of experience and are excellent at giving advice/ideas as well as listen to any requests you have. The fitting went seamlessly and the finishing has been done exceptionally well. We are very happy with the result and can highly recommend Tim and his team. We had beautiful fitted wardrobes installed throughout our house last year in Crouch End, which are of extremely high quality and aesthetically beautiful. Having done a lot of research in the area, I think it is well worth getting bespoke rather than your typical high street fitter. There is a lot of appeal to picking your own colours and the uniqueness of the design. We are looking forward to working with Eoin again on our kitchen this year!!

TLDR; Nigel Delivers Quality Carpentry with Excellent Communication. Nigel is a skilled carpenter who stood out from the other carpenters in the local area contacted for a small job. Out of the 15 carpenters contacted, only three responded, but Nigel's communication was prompt and efficient. He responded quickly to the initial message and offered a competitive quote via email by using pictures. After agreeing on the job, he corrected the persistent problem with the kitchen cupboard doors by adding repair kits and additional hinges. The job was completed within a few hours with zero mess and zero hassle to the tenants. Throughout the project, Nigel's communication was exceptional, and he kept me updated on his progress. He even took the time to reach out halfway through the job to provide an update on the work's status. The tenants were happy with the end result, and they appreciated the fact that there was no mess or disruption during the repair work. Nigel undertook several projects for us recently - making and fitting a Victorian hardwood front door, replacing a staircase and fitting shelving in a built-in wardrobe. The finished results are excellent. Nigel is very diligent, doesn't cut corners and carries out his work to a very high standard. He is pleasant, courteous and reliable and clearly takes pride in doing a good job. His charges were also reasonable and fair. It was a pleasure having him around and we would highly recommend him.

Toni and team designed, built and installed a beautiful door to replace an existing period window - the style matches very well and we’re really happy with it. We had a couple of issues with communication but it all smoothed out and we’ll definitely be using A1 bespoke joinery for any future window or door jobs we need!

I bought 4 big sash windows and 1 casement window from A1 Bespoke. They are all standard double glazed window (to replace existing single glazed). I asked at least 3 quotes and Toni provided the best price. They have been installed and these windows work perfectly. From the day the window was installed, I already felt that the insulation is much better! Installation was very smooth and the team have kept my room clean. I will use them again. Definitely recommended.

I had A1 come to do my bay window this summer and the job has been seamless start to finish. Toni and the team have given me the windows I've always wanted! Beautiful sash windows that dont leak, have annoying condensation and hooray, actually make my flat warmer. It was great working with people who take the job seriously, Toni came and spent a decent amount of time measuring everything meticulously, he gave an accurate quote, stuck to the timelines he gave me AND managed to take into account my shutters that were already installed. I am really pleased with the work and would recommend them to anyone!

I bought four timber sash windows from Toni. They had to be 14mm double glazing to suit a conservation area and obviously also had to meet buildings regulations. I researched places to buy the windows for many months and A1 bespoke joinery provided excellent quality windows at a much more affordable price than the bigger companies. I'm returning to A1 to buy a new front door and I won't hesitate to give them further business in the future. Excellent workmanship at a reasonable price.

Christian is a consummate professional, and a true expert. He did a thorough consultation when we asked him to replace our balcony balustrade and where other tradesmen took a glance and suggested a quick fix, Christian took the time to analyse the job and explained all of our options down to the choice of wood. We were comfortable that his advice was the best solution for a fast-decaying balcony. In little time, he had designed a new, safer balcony and made balustrades by hand in keeping with the original design. He also went above and beyond to fix old issues that were uncovered during the job. He really cares about carpentry. Highly recommend!

We are exceptionally pleased with the service Christian has provided for us. He has built a very well made cupboard with three shelves above, all along a difficult stretch of wall in our wobbly and wonky flat. The cupboard’s design is perfectly in keeping with the period features in the rest of the property. Christian was able to carry out this work for us in a timely manner, with good quality materials but at a very reasonable price, was efficient, and a delight to have in our home. We are so pleased with the result and look forward to being in touch when we next have carpentry needs!

6 back doors had been installed 15 years ago but not maintained since and needed full overhaul Christian worked on the job as an accomplished craftsman, working diligently to leave the doors as good as (or probably better than) new. Rotten wood was carefully dealt with and bolts and locks which previously did not fit worked perfectly. His honest approach meant that work he had originally recommended and included in the estimate was removed when he realised on further investigation was not necessary On the basis of work done on our house I would highly recommend

Mariusz was professional and approachable. He was punctual and respected our property, always taking care not to cause damage and to clean up afterwards. He produced an excellent door and gate which enhanced our home. We have no hesitation in recommending him.

We were delighted with the fitted wardrobes that Mariusz in our bedroom. He listened to what we wanted and made some really good suggestions that greatly improved the whole look of the wardrobes. They are beautiful and every time I enter the bedroom they make me smile. We then asked Mariusz to fit units either side of our fireplace so that we had storage space but within a setting that improved the look of our living room/dinning area. Again, he came to the house, listened to all the ideas that we had and suggested some of his own, which made for beautifully designed cabinets that are a feature of our living room and are greatly admired by friends and family. We absolutely love them. My husband and I would highly recommended this company, the men were hardworking, polite and after both installations our home was left spotlessly clean.

Mauriusz built bespoke wardrobes in our bedroom in January 2025 in Hertfordshire and a record bench in our bay window. His work is fantastic and we are so happy and have received many compliments. Mario is extremely professional, has great design input, the work was completed in a timely manner and he was very clean and tidy. We will definitely use this company for future house upgrades.

I had a clear idea of what I wanted, which was a little unusual because I wanted to hide an en-suite behind wardrobes and have the doors open inwards.
