Just had an amazing floor-to-ceiling cupboard made by West London Carpentry and can highly recommend them for any carpentry service needed. They build made-to-measure and the process is very straight forward. They have a lot of experience and are excellent at giving advice/ideas as well as listen to any requests you have. The fitting went seamlessly and the finishing has been done exceptionally well. We are very happy with the result and can highly recommend Tim and his team. Very professional, very efficient and beautiful finish.

Absolutely stunning work, higher than my expectations! Working with Tim and Steve on the design really helped as they ended up giving me far more of an aesthetic look to my media wall. I had quite a few intricate design ideas and they were all executed flawlessly. Not to forget, the whole team were so kind, friendly and super tidy. Really impressed with Frank and the high standard of service he provided. He created 3 ‘floating’ shelves for our kitchen which look fantastic. He has also replaced multiple wooden sash windows for us which were done to a very high standard. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Frank and his team have replaced a number of Edwardian era sash windows with double glazed units. Their construction, workmanship and attention to detail is second to none. They've also done 5 star external decorations. Heartily recommend.

So happy with the recent project Form did in our property that I had to share. Angela and Brett were both very professional and knowledgeable about their respective fields of interior design and cabinet-making. Angela designed our bespoke new kitchen down to the minutest of details and Brett made it a reality with his craftsmanship. They both listened to what we wanted and came up with some great ideas and solutions and created something that was even better then we imagined. The project I had in mind being a sculpture, it was important to be able to discuss and evolve as the project was developing. A1 Joinery replaced 6 double glazed sash windows and 1 double glazed casement window at the front of my property and Toni and his team did a really excellent job. The windows are high quality and are competitively priced . The installation team did a great job fitting all the windows, particularly the dormer window on the top floor which was fitted without the need for any scaffolding. A1 Joinery can be relied upon to do a good job and are highly recommended.

Toni and team designed, built and installed a beautiful door to replace an existing period window - the style matches very well and we’re really happy with it. We had a couple of issues with communication but it all smoothed out and we’ll definitely be using A1 bespoke joinery for any future window or door jobs we need!

I had A1 come to do my bay window this summer and the job has been seamless start to finish. Toni and the team have given me the windows I've always wanted! Beautiful sash windows that dont leak, have annoying condensation and hooray, actually make my flat warmer. It was great working with people who take the job seriously, Toni came and spent a decent amount of time measuring everything meticulously, he gave an accurate quote, stuck to the timelines he gave me AND managed to take into account my shutters that were already installed. I am really pleased with the work and would recommend them to anyone!

I bought four timber sash windows from Toni. They had to be 14mm double glazing to suit a conservation area and obviously also had to meet buildings regulations. I researched places to buy the windows for many months and A1 bespoke joinery provided excellent quality windows at a much more affordable price than the bigger companies. I'm returning to A1 to buy a new front door and I won't hesitate to give them further business in the future. Excellent workmanship at a reasonable price.

We were delighted with the fitted wardrobes that Mariusz in our bedroom. He listened to what we wanted and made some really good suggestions that greatly improved the whole look of the wardrobes. They are beautiful and every time I enter the bedroom they make me smile. We then asked Mariusz to fit units either side of our fireplace so that we had storage space but within a setting that improved the look of our living room/dinning area. Again, he came to the house, listened to all the ideas that we had and suggested some of his own, which made for beautifully designed cabinets that are a feature of our living room and are greatly admired by friends and family. We absolutely love them. My husband and I would highly recommended this company, the men were hardworking, polite and after both installations our home was left spotlessly clean.

I had a clear idea of what I wanted, which was a little unusual because I wanted to hide an en-suite behind wardrobes and have the doors open inwards. I recently worked with Dimitry and Solid Carpentry to have a built -in wardrobe fitted in my bedroom so I could have more storage space. Dimitry was excellent right from the start - polite, up front about costs, arriving on time, giving me advice and keeping me updated on the job. I gave him a photo to work from and he made the wardrobe look just like it! It was also a really awkward space, the room is slightly on a slope but he made it fit just right. We had beautiful fitted wardrobes installed throughout our house last year in Crouch End, which are of extremely high quality and aesthetically beautiful. Having done a lot of research in the area, I think it is well worth getting bespoke rather than your typical high street fitter. There is a lot of appeal to picking your own colours and the uniqueness of the design. We are looking forward to working with Eoin again on our kitchen this year!!

Nigel undertook several projects for us recently - making and fitting a Victorian hardwood front door, replacing a staircase and fitting shelving in a built-in wardrobe. We recently had a cupboard installed (to which I later added slat wood panels), and the entire process was seamless from start to finish. After the designer took accurate measurements and we finalized the design, the work was completed in just two days. On the first day, two contractors arrived to construct the structure. They worked efficiently, maintaining a clean and tidy workspace throughout. On the second day, a different contractor handled the finishing touches and painting with equal professionalism. Paolo and his team (Dennis for the carpenter work) did an amaaaazing job at building a bespoke mezzanine in a relatively small bedroom with high ceilings. Paolo designed exactly what I wanted and Dennis did a fantastic job. Super nice, extremely clean, efficient, to the perfection. The structure is rock solid. It is impressive. I will ask them to do many more storage spaces in my flat in a few months. I warmly recommend them. They are just perfect.
