We found Alzate to provide an excellent service. It’s always hard to find good builders or carpenters but Alzate were outstanding. The quote was reasonable and the payment process was straight forward. Raul and his team were very friendly and professional and completed the job to a very high standard. We were especially impressed with Rodrigo’s work. His attention to detail and lovely personality shone through. They arrived when they said they would and completed the project on time and within budget. They were very clean and tidy! We would definitely recommend Alzate to anyone and will be using them again in the near future.

Raul, Carmen and team at Alzate helped me design a sliding door solution and followed the project closely through to completion. The end result exceeded my expectations, and I really appreciated being kept informed throughout. An excellent job delivered to time and budget!

Alzate built me a cupboard in my bathroom. They were excellent in the design process as they came for multiple planning visits, provided a great CAD design and were helpful in giving updates to the design on request. The issue was that when it came to installation, the finish did not quite match the design in that the edges weren’t flush with the wall. Whilst this wasn’t possible as the wall wasn’t straight, it wasn’t communicated to me and so I asked for it to be fixed. This lead to delays and additional expenses. Overall I am very happy with the final product, thought the service of the design process was excellent, but the service at installation was lacking due to the poor communication and it has left a sour aftertaste

Paolo and his team (Dennis for the carpenter work) did an amaaaazing job at building a bespoke mezzanine in a relatively small bedroom with high ceilings. Paolo designed exactly what I wanted and Dennis did a fantastic job. Super nice, extremely clean, efficient, to the perfection. The structure is rock solid. It is impressive. I will ask them to do many more storage spaces in my flat in a few months. I warmly recommend them. They are just perfect.

Great service, very efficient. They made me a wardrobe with shelves in the eaves of a small bedroom, making great use of the space. The two guys who came and worked on it were very professional, as is the whole company. I would definitely recommend them to others.

Very impressed from start to finish with Bespoke Carpentry. Really easy to communicate with to discuss design ideas. David (the carpenter) was excellent, a lovely man who is a very talented carpenter. He worked incredibly hard and fast to get our bookcase cabinet fitted in just two days. Really pleased with everything. David also gave me lots of tips for finishing touches and aftercare.

Radek is an absolutely brilliant carpenter and bespoke cabinet maker. He took our fairly crude concept of a “hidden office” and then designed and created a dream version of it. He was totally reliable, incredibly undemanding and tidy, and remarkably attentive to detail. His prices are very fair, and he is a pleasure to have around.

Radek was just fantastic. The work was completed to a very high standard and within the timeframes quoted. He was thoughtful in matching finishes to my style. He even put me in touch with an electrician and painter, both of which were excellent. Couldn’t recommend him higher!

Absolutely outstanding work by Nathan. Nathan transformed our little Victorian flat by revamping our front and internal doors (new hinges and door handles, repairing woodwork) after they were left in a poor state by previous tradesmen. Nathan also replaced the front panel of our battered window seat, and did a beautiful job of replacing our tired worn-out cabinet doors with beautifully crafted shaker-style new ones. Nathan found a way to fit us into his busy schedule as we wanted to get the renovations completed quickly. He attended promptly, got straight on with the job as soon as he arrived, and left the place immaculate afterwards. Would highly recommend and will definitely consider for future projects.

I needed sash windows replaced ,new pointing and painting at a house in Clapham, were quickest to respond on quote, competitive and completed the work in a much quicker timeframe from me placing the order than other firms were able to offer. Very happy with the installation and quality of the windows, reliable, good communication, cleaning up and protection of the property. I do not give 5 stars out easily but nathan wilson joinery deserve it.

I recently hired Thomas Carpentry & Joinery to make and install two alcove wardrobes in our bedroom and I couldn't be happier with the results. John has previously made some alcove shelves for us so I knew he’d do a great job of fitted wardrobes. They were made up and colour matched off-site so the fitting took less than a day and mess free. Really happy with these beautiful period style wardrobes which have a handy pull down rail. John also did rounded corners on request which we love.

John McMullen's work is truly outstanding. He is a complete perfectionist, and the work is done to the highest possible standard, on time, on budget, tidily and always with a smile. We have had the following things made: wardrobes (for 5 bedrooms) made, bookcases, a TV cabinet, window seats and radiator covers. We have never had a problem and some years later, the items still look like new. We cannot recommend John highly enough.
