I always get anxious when my car needs to go to garage however going here has given me some relief as I will always have a decent garage to take my car to. Very friendly. Genuine/ down to earth. Tells you the problems and the solutions in a informative but simplifed manner. Really reasonably prices. Will be my main garage in future. Would recommend.

I would like to thank all the staff at Autonys Garage Ltd, I was having a ride out today and unexpectedly started to have a bad nosebleed. I parked up and walked into the garage and Rebecca immediately realised what was happening. Got me tissues and some water also a chair to sit down. After 20 -25 mins i was allowed to use washroom to clean myself up. They even give me cleaning fluid to clean the blood of my petrol tank. Once again thank you so much, its was appreciated. We’ve used Gav a couple of times now for repairs following bumps. His work is of the highest quality, we couldn’t be more pleased with it. He is immensely helpful with options for the work needed, very fair with his prices and goes the extra mile to ensure a thorough job. I've been taking my various cars over the years to Danny and his team at Holme Valley MOT. Every single time, they have been pleasant, friendly and completed the job on time and at a very reasonable rate. They always go above and beyond every time I go in and always manage to fit me in if I've happened to call in unexpectedly. Recently, we had an issue with my new car and getting the work done under warranty. Danny was amazing and kept both us and the warranty company updated and provided all the relevant details. Excellent service from the team at M&M, me and my wife have used them for the last few services. Today I had a headlight bulb that went which I tried to replace my self (and failed) called M&M who fitted me in straight away to fit the bulbs which they did in 10 minutes and wouldn’t take a payment from me for the job. Greatly appreciated and another reason to use these guys in the future.

My son and I recently made a trip over from Oldham to Holmfirth Garage, for him to purchase a car. Sean, the owner, kindly stayed back till after 6pm to give us chance to finish work and travel over. Right from the offset, it became apparent to me that this isn't your usual run of the mill business. No pressure selling, no garbage sales chat, just down to earth honesty and openness. They were a few minor issues with the car, that needed attention, after all it was a used car that was being purchased, so this could only be expected. The issues were resolved efficiently and to a high standard. Despite my son's eagerness, Sean made it clear, that the hand over would not take place, until HE was 100% happy with the car That in my opinion, is what sets Sean high above any of the other car sales people I have dealt with. He doesn't want a quick sale, he appreciates the expense of purchasing a car, and wants to sell you a vehicle in the best condition it could be in. Then and only then will he ask you for your signature and payment. I'm not at all surprised that the workshop was full of cars being repaired, and the MOT Centre was busy, people obviously appreciate a good business when they find one. I can't praise Sean and his lads enough, what a superb service. Twenty years in business speaks volumes. Both my son and I would definitely recommend Holmfirth Garage, thank you to all involved.

These guys are brilliant!! Took my electric mini 3 months out of bmw warranty with annoying noise on rear suspension - they sorted it within a few minutes on ramp and test drove it - thanks so much! BMW wanted £160 to “diagnose” the issue them further charge for repairs!! All it needed was a bit of lubricant!! I will continue using Sean and the guys to look after our cars

All I can say is WOW. Car broke down on Saturday, called the AA, told me it needed a garage to look at it. Spoke to Andrew at 12 noon he said drop it down and he would have a look at it. Not only did he have a look at it he fixed the car. They close at 1pm on a Saturday but he stayed until after 3pm to fix the car. They even offered to come and collect me from home. Not had this kind of service in a very long time. Most places if open on a Saturday wouldn't have even looked at the car until Monday. They guys are just excellent. Found my new home for any future repairs/servicing. Price was very good also, used another local garage last year who had my pants down with price. These two are genuine lovely people. Thank you.

After struggling to find a garage willing to take on the job, I came across Mr Mechanic – and I’m so glad I did! They were absolutely amazing from start to finish.
