Just want to say thank you for helping my other half fix his car. We have a lot of appointments upcoming this week and our car was our only way to get to them. I made a phone call on the morning of Friday 6th may, we was told to fetch the car and within 1 hour it was sorted. Staff are amazing and friendly, not overpriced either. Great service for a great price. Honest team who will treat you fairly. I recently moved to Barnsley with the wife and started shopping around for a local garage when we started having some car issues. After being shocked at some of the quotes from other local garages, like Evan Halshaw, for what I thought would be basic fixes, I was really happy and glad to find this garage. E.g. Evan Halshaw wanted to charge me over £200 in total to fix a door handle (buying the handle + labour etc). In the end, I bought the handle on eBay and the guys at Low Cost, fixed it on for a very reasonable (low) price. Genuinely just good guys. They earned my trust, and now I won't go anywhere else for anything car related. Especially because I don't know very much about cars, and I can feel here I ask everything I want, and get everything explained to me in a way I understand, so I don't feel stupid about it. It's good service from people with integrity. And for me, that really makes a difference.

These guys are the best. Have been coming here for 12 years. Always a great price, always great customer service. They have saved us so much money over the years from the fear mongering Ford garage who will try any scam in the book to get a payment out of you for something, like trying to charge £400 for a new turbo, Darren takes a look, cleans some gunk out and it’s perfectly fine for the rest of the time we owned that car. They tell you how it is and trust with my life that they would only ever recommend changing and fixing things if it really needs it. Will be a sad day if this place ever closes, confidence in your mechanic is hard to find, were so lucky to have had Darren and Glen all these years. Too bad he supports Max Crashtapen 🤦‍♂️ if you guys every go… I think we’ll just not bother with a car anymore as I’ll never be able to trust a mechanic like I trust you guys. Honestly the best. I had to have my car recovered to the garage after another local mechanic misdiagnosed an issue with my timing belt which led to a breakdown. Paul dealt with it all within a week and kept the price of repairs as low as possible, the car now runs perfectly and I will definitely be taking it back there in the future.

Excellent service, friendly and very reasonably priced. Our car broke down in whitby and we had to get towed back home, we asked to be taken straight to the garage thinking we'd leave it outside overnight and ask the next day if they could fit us in, he seen tow truck outside (late Sunday evening) he came out and opened gate to bring the car in, then fixed it the next day. My husband also takes his work vans here, i wouldn't go anywhere else! 😬

A friend recommended this garage as the last garage I used ended up ripping me off. I took my citroen here for the fan belt changing. As my car is French it ended up needing more. The part was a bit of a nightmare to find for these guys but they did it. They did a fantastic job. Also took my ex wife's golf here for mot and it needed rear pads... Calipers and cv joint. All done the same day and a very good price. This will now be our regular garage.

Busy garage where staff were helpful and friendly, with a very professional service. My car had a fault that was previously fixed elsewhere but had come back again, just in time to fail an MOT! The Dearne Garage staff found the root of the problem and fixed it, giving me a more permanent solution, leading to an MOT pass and a very happy customer!

Image definitely isn't everything, the other day I found myself in a bit of a pickle, had a tyer almost flat my car has no spare only a stupid tyer infection device and that temporary repair spray. Unfortunately the dust caps were metal that had fused so I couldn't get them off, after calling RAC, (4 hour wait) halfords (next day) and other company's, I discovered these guys. They had my tyre in stock and could fit. As the tyer wasn't fully deflated I took a steady drive (only 3 miles) the staff was absolutely amazing 😉 👌 👏 they removed the flat and discovered that it was the valve, replaced the valve, cleaned up the wheel, and exchange the other valves so I wouldn't be in the same predicament again, now I know other garages would have still put a new tyre on even though it wasn't needed. For the honesty integrity and service I can't praise them enough, will definitely be using them in the future, and telling everyone in my area too aswell. Well done guys if I could give you 6* I would a BIG THANKS 😊 👍

Can't fault the place. Being an ex C&G motor technician, I usually perform my own repairs and use SK Service station for MOT's. Although they have done repairs on my wifes car when I've been otherwise engaged. I always them very polite, professional and fair with the pricing.

I was in an accident on a Sunday afternoon at a roundabout and phoned Tom at TPH autos to come recover my vehicle. He turned up within 15 minutes of me ringing and the whole process of getting my car onto the back of his truck and him leaving was no more than 20 minutes. Tom was very polite and friendly.
