The Best Cafes in Wetherby, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom (2025)

Called here on my parents recommendation. I booked ahead for 4 people + 1 dog. We all had Sunday lunch. The main menu is for during the week I believe. The food was lovely. The staff very friendly. The pub was spacious enough not to be sitting on top of one another and has its own car park. But most importantly for me dog 🐶 friendly. Will happily come back.

Sound group of guys and girls working the bar. Great beers. Probably fair to say one of the quieter pubs at peak times but that's by no means a bad thing.

Fantastic place to go and take 10 mins out. Lovely soft relaxing music in the background. Tried the Iced Velvet coffee today, it was gorgeous and I’m definitely going to try all the different flavours as the weeks pass. The manageress is so welcoming, friendly and always happy to see you. So nice to see her be just as chatty and comfortable with people in wheelchairs as with the able bodied. Keep up the good work.

It's good but where they have the service table is a bit annoying, their is 2 tables opposite the service table & people are queuing next to you & sometimes are too close while you are trying to enjoy your coffee/food. If they move where you pick up your food/drink then it would be a good coffee shop.

I believe this nero is fairly new. Nice and clean and refreshing. Thoroughly enjoyed my cappuccino. Imo it's a lot better than the rival a few doors down

Wow amazing!!! best pie ever ‘Guinness Pie’ but make sure you have saved yourself! 5 star, loved our time in Wetherby.

Great little place tucked away and the food and atmosphere are really good. The only thing to note was the service which, on both occasions we have visited, was a little slow. We had to chase someone down to order food and drinks as we were left waiting. When we did get service, the team are really helpful and polite. Apart from that, the food is really good and in generous portions. The outdoor seating area is lovely when the weather is right(!)

If you're in Wetherby, Snug and Chatter is a hidden gem! This cozy bar/restaurant strikes the perfect balance between relaxed pub vibes and delicious dining. The staff are super friendly, and the food is top-notch—great options whether you're after a casual bite or a more substantial meal. The drinks selection is fantastic too, with plenty of options to suit all tastes. A brilliant spot for a night out or a relaxed evening with friends. Highly recommended!

Absolutely & utterly amazing food. Luckily the staff managed to allocate a table for us at last minute & accommodated our dog. The pie is out of this world, thanks to Elliot for the recommendation and lovely service!

A lovely tea shop we stopped for a cuppa whilst on our way to Settle just couldn't resist the cake 😋😋😋

Called in on cycle ride today. Lovely weather to sit outside on the terrace. Spoilt for choice with wide menu but both went for lemon scone with lemon curd. Delicious and good quality coffee also. Very reasonable prices. Staff very attentive and friendly and served promptly. Will return for more treats.
