Lovely place to have a coffee and work, nice atmosphere and really friendly staff. Good toilets, plug sockets, WIFI. The oat milk hot chocolate was delicious

First time visit at Java Joe today. I can understand why it’s always busy.Just want to say a massive thank you to Tava, my Salted caramel latte was fab. Lovely staff, would recommend. Definitely will be back.

Went there on Eid and it was our first time there. Overall the atmosphere and staff were really nice. We ordered our desserts and got a free large dessert for free because it was a first time there. That was really nice of them. The dessert was delicious.

We were served by Harris who was an excellent waiter and told us which drinks to go for. He also came to check that everything was okay and if we needed anything else... Will definitely be visiting again!

We visited Bradford and tried out Tiffin Coffee's afternoon tea set thanks to the excellent reviews. What made the experience stand out was the excellent service provided by staff. You could tell they care about the customers as they checked on tables every half-hour to see if people needed anything else!

Excellent scenery with an excellent cake in an excellent weather. Who can dare to say but enjoy the sun and the food. One thing to notice is opening times. They are different in the winter but when is winter? I am not sure.🤔

Tidy little café by the 5 locks. After a nice walk down the locks it's a great place to grab a small snack and drink. Staff were very friendly and it is well kept.

Excellent place to visit. Great atmosphere, great food at good prices. Highly recommended. Very friendly staff. Toilet available, too, which is useful on longer walks. I have lots of trips down the canal just to come here and definitely recommend it to others. Great views of the canal and hills, too.

Great little cafe. Prices reasonable given where it is and there's no competition. The bathroom was immaculate. My only mild negative, is as couple of the staff could smile, looked like they wanted to jump in the canal.

Cosy, friendly atmosphere. Very attentive and friendly staff. We ordered a selection of foods. Starters , mains and desserts and everything ordered was delicious. The staff were on hand to give suggestions and recommendations about the dishes on the menu, The food was cooked perfectly and turnaround time was spot on. The kunafa dessert is a must try. Went here for tea tonight - my second visit - and the food and service were just as good as last time. I had the mango and lemon drink tonight, and it was the best drink of them all in my opinion. Properly sharp lemon with sweet mango to give a lovely balance. This would definitely be my recommendation for anyone going! The staff were brilliant when I asked if it would be possible to have a little chicken shawarma with the houmous to start. I'm so pleased I did as well, as it was gorgeous and the flavours went so well together. For main I had another two starters, as I like small tasty bits. I had the veggie kebbeh and the chicken livers. I had the meat kebbeh last time, and I think those are nicer than the veggie ones. The veggie ones had a lovely filling, but just didn't seem to go together, especially not with the pomegranate molasses that came with it too. Though I added some leftover houmous to it, and for me it married it all together. The chicken livers were excellent - but I wasn't brave enough to try the chilli on top! I actually tried the livers with the pomegranate molasses and LOVED it! If we go again, I'll definitely be cheeky and ask for some molasses with them! And I can't forget to mention the free soup that came to start. A very tasty lentil and veg soup, with lovely spices to get your taste buds watering! I was full after this, but my partner - who'd had the sujuk, followed by the chicken kebab - went for the kunafa to finish, and he wasn't disappointed. Crisp pastry, salty, sour cheese, sweet syrup - lovely. The only down side tonight was that it was quite loud, unlike last time, as the music was turned right up. Last time we could sit and easily chat, while tonight it felt like we were needing to shout at one another to be heard. However, there were lots of happy couples, families, and celebrations going on around us. So lots to people watch when we couldn't chat. Definitely a place to go if you want a good feed at a good price. Highly recommend it!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Staff are so friendly and create a warming atmosphere especially Ibtisaam. It was a pleasure to be served by her. She was extremely welcoming. Food was absolutely delicious 😋 and very filling ‎ما شاء الله‬ , the portion sizes were HUGE and there was plenty of leftovers. You also get lentil soup on the house - to warm the insides before your meal. Was absolutely delicious. Would definitely come back again to explore the rest of the menu.

What a beautiful place to visit! We travelled from Manchester for an event close by and we decided to try Bab Tooma for dinner. We were seated straight away, the staff were so friendly and polite. We got given complimentary soup AND the supervisor gave us hummous and bread to start on the house! The decor was beautiful and the food was absolutely fantastic and very tasty. We ordered a mixture of lamb and chicken dishes. Quick service, delicious food, great atmosphere and at a very reasonable price! We'll definitely be visiting again. Thank you again to the lovely Supervisor for looking after us 💕

We parked on Caroline Street for £1.50 per hour (able to extend on RingGo app). Queue for food was quite long but we got in early at 11:30 which seemed to beat the queue. Pizzas were amazing! There is another cafe on level 3 if you want to skip the long queue. Exhibits were nice and the activities in the Peace Museum upstairs were great. Only suggestion to management is have some signage for prams/wheelchairs. Accessibility at the two entrances/exits we saw were none existent.

We had a fabulous afternoon visiting Salts Mill! We heard that David Hockney had a flowers in print exhibition and couldn’t wait to take a look. We had visited the Media museum earlier in the day, so saw some of his artistic talents through his 4 seasons videos filmed through 9 cameras. The mill had 3 floors of interesting arts, plenty of areas to eat and drink and a wonderful book store! There’s plenty of David Hockney related things to peruse/buy! We also watched a video of the history of Salts Mill which was fascinating!

A fabulous place to visit; the building is home to art, food, craft, history and more. Any Hockney fans will have a wonderful time and there are many other artists to appreciate. Plentiful parking, good range of food options. Plentiful free parking and access via public transport is easy. Highly recommended and I will be back!

A really wonderful place to stroll around looking at nice things for 3-4 hours. A fantastic use of an historic and beautiful industrial business with a very uplifting and important heritage, especially for this part of the world. The video showing the story of what it was and how it became what it is now and why it is a UNESCO site was very moving. So much art and photography to see, choc a block with Hockney works...all for free! The Ian Beesley exhibition was a highlight for me. The antique shop too. The Peace Museum is cool too. Also, probably the biggest building I have ever been in and with lots of original features...The sheer scale is incredible. Be prepared to walk lots.

I loved it! Great quality of food and generous portions (just on the mushrooms they weren’t enough) the coffee is not too bad - good for the price (it is included on the breakfast £7). The staff were friendly, it took a while to have our food but it worth it (they are a busy cafe). Looks clean and they have a TV, the atmosphere is just right. It is near bus stops and traffic lights.

Very nice freshly made sausage butty. That and a bottle of Coke for less than a fiver
