The Loft is an all.time favourite. The staff are friendly, the food is good. They are busy for a reason 👍🏻 All round best place in bingley and surrounding areas
Rating: 5 / 5
Amazing, customisable breakfast (I swapped out toast and beans for egg and bacon and was asked if I'd like more than one piece of extra bacon...) Great quality of food, staff super-friendly, solid coffee...and despite the fact that I don't eat cake, the selection of clearly handmade cakes were incredibly tempting... An absolute delight! Thank you!

Hidden away in a little village square sits this little gem of a cafe which not only had amazing homemade cakes and brownies but surprisingly good coffee. If you're a meat eater like me you may be put off by a pure vegetarian cafe but give it a go!
Rating: 5 / 5
Very nice cafe with a choice of vegan and vegetarian food. It was real tasty. The wait was a little longer than I’d expect (we waited 30-40 minutes), but that's okay if you're not in a rush. I'd increase vegan options and enhance the protein to carb ratio 👌🏻

Miss Butterfinger's
26 The Grn, Bradford BD10 9PX, UK | Tea House P: 07752 772584
Rating: 4.8 (174) Price Level:
Beautiful tea room. Great atmosphere. Love the decor. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend 😊☺️
Rating: 5 / 5
From the outside - Miss Butterfingers looks very inviting - so thought i'd treat myself to lunch there. The decor and atmosphere was lovely. Music was playing but thank goodness not very loud. Staff were extremely pleasant. I had small portion of homemade leek and potato soup served with sliced soft baguette and butter. Soup was perfect temperature ie hot. I hate soup which is just warm! Having had my soup I left it a little while before ordering a cake. I was able to relax, do a bit of knitting without being hassled. I eventually had a piece of the homemade Millionaire Shortbread - gorgeous. Totally reasonable prices! I will definitely be visiting again - soon I hope.

Cafe J'adore
17 Chester St, Bradford BD5 0AF, UK | Restaurant P: 01274 447325
Rating: 4.8 (2325) Price Level:
Very beautiful and cosy place. Service is excellent. Lots of choice of food. Just need to mention that the waffles were a little too sweet. But overall it was good. I highly recommend! Make sure that you have cash or if you are happy to pay by bank transfer. I did found that a little weird but maybe their card machine was not working that day.

Absolutely loved this place. First time going there today. Very warm welcome by the staff. Ordered the slow cooked lamb shank and the French toast. Food was cooked and served to perfection. The decor and surrounding was just beautiful. Top class service and top class food. Well done.

I’ve visited Cafe J’adore multiple times at this point, and it has been amazing every single time. The brunch is hearty and good value for money. It also tastes delicious and if you ever have a problem, the cafe will do their best to make things right. Service is impeccable too. Overall, it’s one of the best places for brunch in Bradford.

First of all, the service from the very beginning to the end was exceptional. We ordered the Hot Chocolate, Spanish Latte, Mexican Omelette, Pistachio French Toast, Nutella & Fruit Pancake and the Dynamite Chicken. All the food was delicious especially the Mexican Omelette, Dynamite Chicken and the French Toast. Staff ensured everything was to satisfaction and kept checking in to see if we needed anything which was very helpful. Overall, a great experience and would recommend all to have a try, you won't be disappointed.

Tambourine Coffee
38 Bingley Rd, Shipley BD18 4RU, UK | Coffee Shop P: Not available
Rating: 4.6 (342) Price Level:
Recently moved to the area and was desperate to find a new coffee spot in which Tambourine fulfilled perfectly. Very good quality coffee which is consistent. Owner is also a super nice dude alongside everyone who works there especially the blonde lady who’s apparently worked there for a while. Only thing I would suggest is to make it a little warmer on the inside as it’s always so cold (ask the windows which are always dripping in condensation) or perhaps I’m just a wuss..
Rating: 5 / 5
This place is clearly about good coffee. Really high quality, well made and delicious. I also sampled some tahini blondie which was very good. My friend had coffee cake which she said was a little dry but also loved the filter coffee. Lots of people dropping in whilst there, clearly a popular spot and was open at 9am on a Sunday... perfect! On other days appears to be other breakfast items available so will have to revisit to try.
Rating: 5 / 5
Tambourine is a brilliant little local coffee shop; a small walk away from the tourist hotspots. It's brilliant because the coffee is excellent. It helps that they serve North Star coffee; but the coffee is well made, swift and hot. The service and whole atmosphere is very friendly. It's a small, clean and welcoming place. The staff made me feel right at home straight away. The only aspect that might put people off is the overlapping conversation. Lots of friendly people in a small place meant I could hear every word of at least four conversations. Don't let that put you off. This is not the place if you're planning a private chat but it's perfect if you want good coffee and to feel like a Saltaire local.
Rating: 5 / 5
Lovely little cafe, with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Great coffee. I had cortado (2 as it was so good!), spinach & feta pie, with salad & veg which was absolutely delicious, as good as any served in Greece! Followed by an apple, cinnamon & brown butter brownie, also delicious & not too big. Cold water always available free, clean toilets & facilities for babies & children, also WiFi.
Rating: 5 / 5
How coffee is supposed to be!! What a breath of fresh air after the few terrible experiences we've had lately. I had a decaf latte, my partner an decaf oat flat white. My latte was perfect (and I don't use that word often!) - not too hot so it still had that gorgeous sweetness to the milk, excellent texture ie not too frothy or too thin, the strength was spot on (nice and strong) and it tasted amazing despite being decaf which can be very hit-and-miss. Super impressed. My partner's coffee was just as good in all those ways. The cheesecake brownie was also insanely good - such a massive piece for the price, so tasty, gooey, chocolatey, with huge slabs of delicious chocolate throughout, best I've ever ever had. My partner's (huge!) peanut butter and jam flapjack was also good, slightly dry but still very very tasty. Vibes inside we're super chill, scandi, zen, hipster, light, clean etc etc - all the stuff we're into. We sat outside on the street as it was such a hot day, lovely place to watch the world go by. Could not recommend more! 10/10.

Salts Mill
Victoria Rd, Saltaire, Shipley BD18 3HU, UK | N/A P: 01274 531163
Rating: 4.6 (4805) Price Level:
We had a fabulous afternoon visiting Salts Mill! We heard that David Hockney had a flowers in print exhibition and couldn’t wait to take a look. We had visited the Media museum earlier in the day, so saw some of his artistic talents through his 4 seasons videos filmed through 9 cameras. The mill had 3 floors of interesting arts, plenty of areas to eat and drink and a wonderful book store! There’s plenty of David Hockney related things to peruse/buy! We also watched a video of the history of Salts Mill which was fascinating!
Rating: 5 / 5
It’s always good to take a friend from other areas to visit places you enjoy and find they like them too. Salts mill and Saltaire is such an unusual place combining history via art ( through Hockney) and industrial skills - the mill itself and the town of Saltaire. The town has a character modern towns usually lack and the mill shows industrial heritage where money talked and could be good for the workers. Pity more entrepreneurs don’t build new towns around their dream developments!! We enjoyed the art, the spaces within the mill (which is huge) including the cafe and book shops. We saw some video footage of how the mill started but didn’t see it all. Think we should return to learn more. Cafe - we had to wait a while but it was ok and the lunch was fine-tasty and reasonable. Take time, don’t rush and think about the original workers but also the dedication of Jonathan Silver who so valued this place and ensured it became a valued place in industrial history.
Rating: 5 / 5
A really wonderful place to stroll around looking at nice things for 3-4 hours. A fantastic use of an historic and beautiful industrial business with a very uplifting and important heritage, especially for this part of the world. The video showing the story of what it was and how it became what it is now and why it is a UNESCO site was very moving. So much art and photography to see, choc a block with Hockney works...all for free! The Ian Beesley exhibition was a highlight for me. The antique shop too. The Peace Museum is cool too. Also, probably the biggest building I have ever been in and with lots of original features...The sheer scale is incredible. Be prepared to walk lots.
Rating: 5 / 5
A fabulous place to visit; the building is home to art, food, craft, history and more. Any Hockney fans will have a wonderful time and there are many other artists to appreciate. Plentiful parking, good range of food options. Plentiful free parking and access via public transport is easy. Highly recommended and I will be back!

We parked on Caroline Street for £1.50 per hour (able to extend on RingGo app). Queue for food was quite long but we got in early at 11:30 which seemed to beat the queue. Pizzas were amazing! There is another cafe on level 3 if you want to skip the long queue. Exhibits were nice and the activities in the Peace Museum upstairs were great. Only suggestion to management is have some signage for prams/wheelchairs. Accessibility at the two entrances/exits we saw were none existent.
