I work at Legal and General in Sherburn, regularly pop by to the bean in for lunches, today they had a chicken bacon club sandwich as a special, if you ever see it advertised.... Get it ! Staff in there are always friendly, will help with anything, the place has a great atmosphere, servicing the local community of workers. We are all grateful, thanks Bean in!

I ordered a Large bacon sausage egg and tomato (BEST) sandwich, could of literally fed two, it was the size of my head... i ate it all and i have no regrets it was beautiful and i was starving. Wasnt too expensive for the amount of food you get, they offer breakfast in a box and other goods, sandwiches, pies, sausage rolls, sweets, chocolates, tins of pop etc. Eat in eat out.

We didn't order food but the cafe was busy & the food being served looked great. Milkshakes are very nice as are the frappes. Reasonably priced menu & all the ladies working there were polite.

Stopped for the 1st time ever after passing so many times. Wasn't disappointed at all, service was outstanding food piping hot & reasonably priced. Sausages very very tasty u can tell they're from a proper butchers. Well done guys defo recommend you.

Absolutely fantastic. We had the delivery service and the food and drink was piping hot. You should maybe consider renaming the big breakfast as the belly buster.....its huge

After reading other reviews I was a little hesitant whether to use this cafe, anyhow, hunger got the better of me, I asked if the sausages were butchers sausages as I am very fussy when it comes to a sausage on a breakfast , the guy said that they were frozen but he could put spam on instead, well that took me straight back to my childhood. The breakfast was absolutely lovely, everything was hot and not just warm. The staff I found were very friendly and polite. My advise is , take no notice of reviews, go and make your own mind up.

The staff were so helpful & friendly. Food is very tasty, amazing selection of cakes. Proper pot of tea in a posh cup & saucer.

Nice cafe, quiet when we called. Sausage sandwich and bacon sandwich were nice and well stuffed. Lattes good and the cafe is nice and well stocked. Heard they also catered for allergies.

Quit a small place, but cosy and warm. Ordered home made Apple crumble with custard, to warm me up.Ts certainly did that.It was delicious.Just the right amount of crumble to slightly tart apple. Washed down with a mug of hot steaming Americana black coffee. Just what anyone should order( never mind the doctor) Service was quick and efficient. Will drop in again.

Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Nice range of freshly prepared food on offer. Onion rings were deliciously crunchy, chonky chips were perfect.

Came in with family this week around midday and was greeted when we arrived, made to feel welcome. Food & drink was served perfectly and the quality and taste of the food was of a high standard. The gammon was thick, succulent and fresh. The maypole burger was absolutely delicious and juicy. Anne, the landlady, was really nice to talk to. I look forward to my next visit!

Very busy and noisy atmosphere when we first arrived and bought our drinks.We were sorry to hear the kitchen had just closed so we weren't able to try the food this time.Interior was very nicely decorated and felt very cosy and rustic.Nice outside drinking/smoking area and small car park. Staff were friendly and welcoming, will come again when food is being served.
