Me & the wife called here on the way to the East Coast to catch up with friends, we had a lengthy journey from Falmouth to home 9 hours the previous day. With no food in, only one stop to get breakfast at the T-post, few changes since our last visit, always a friendly greeting on arrival, nice and early, 1 large & 1 Regular breakfast with 2 lovely cappuccinos just hit the spot and set us up for the day ahead. Had to take two LARGE cream scones with us to share at our friend's, B E A U T I F U L is too kind Delightful - Gorgeous - Scrumptious 😋 are few other words to describe the scones 5* amongst other delights until next time, no doubt whilst I'm out cycling, keep up the great work. Only a small venue, so it might be worth booking if you don't go regularly. Not a hotel, but in & outside seating.

We finally tried out the beef smash burgers today, these were absolutely banging. Only had breakfast from here before today and we are yet to experience anything other than top-notch food, sweets and drinks. Sorry no pics - food absolutely demolished on sight.

No words for this place. Dined there last night, and enjoyed a sensational double smash burger. We pigged out a bit, and brought home scones, which are a joke, they are that good. The service was sensational, such lovely people. We saw this place vlogged on YouTube, and we just had to try it. What a magnificent thing it is.

There is a reason why this place is so highly reviewed and that is because it is simply fantastic. I am so happy we have somewhere this wonderful in the village that cooks such marvellous food! Staff are always so lovely and smiley, always up for a chat. Food is bloody beautiful and never ever disappoints, it’s everything you want & more. Bakery stuff is also beautiful, had a good couple of stuff from there on separate occasions and I genuinely believe you cannot get better 🖤 amazing quality and prices! If you’re thinking of giving T Posts a try, then definitely do!

Lovely afternoon tea for four people. We were served what I think may have been the largest scones ever, which were amazing. Good service, reasonably priced.

Rivers meet has varied menu including gluten free options, using local produce. My kids love it because they have free wifi and they can enjoy their tablet time along with their favourite rocky road cake and when accustomed to environment they would start chatting to other cafe visitors- my kids (9 and 11) always ask to go there. Friendly staff and other customers,really busy during lunch time. I love the vintage mix and match plates,tea pots and cups, the decor, the little craft shop and the event posters of craft clubs/meet ups.

Privately run small friendly business, great coffee and food, kitchen closes 2pm for hot food, includes a craft workshop and yoga! a great stop off close to the river Aire and adjacent RSBP St Aidan's nature reserve.

popped in for some lunch in between jobs and had some proper nice homemade grub! they had a lovely looking range of desserts as well but unfortunately i didn't have time to try one. also, i didn't go out back but it sounds like they have a really nice dining area out there for a sunny day. if i was local, i'd be here all the time.

Nice little friendly cafe, enjoyable food, I had the breakfast stuffer! And it certainly was, nice tea in the pot with enough for two and a half cups lol, pleasant atmosphere with approachable and friendly staff, as a visitor and non local I enjoyed it!

Penny catered for our daughter and future son in laws engagement party. There were so many choices available and such a large amount made per guest. The buffet went down a treat and there was enough left for guests to take some back. Guests commented on how tasty the food was. Glad I chose Pennys for the catering. You won't be disappointed with the amount and the selections.

Me and my partner eat here often. They always have amazing cafe food and coffee and the staff have always been great and friendly. The veggie breakfast and jacket potatoes are always good. They always go above to cater for my gluten allergy and I love their banana bread. I recently had the tea for two experience with me and my mum, and it was fantastic - they did gluten free options for me and were really good and probably the best tea for two I’ve had! Would definately recommend.

I had pre booked an afternoon tea for my sisters birthday, and when we arrived we were not disappointed. The external was welcoming and clean, and we were greeted within seconds of walking in the door. We were seated quickly by very friendly staff who had asked about our day, and made sure we had everything we needed. Once the beautifully presented afternoon tea arrived, we were totally suprised at what was actually on it. We were thinking the usual type sandwiches, but nope, it was beautiful Mediterranean foods, an array of colours and packed full of flavour. Throughout the time we were there, staff were happily chatting to customers coming through the door, but also cleaning and ensuring the shop looked spit-spot. Absolutely made our 1st trip to Leeds a delight, accompanied by much needed sunshine to brighten the day.

Lovely atmosphere and great place to go for brunch and catch up with friends. Hot drinks were really good, the food was very tasty and it’s a very instagramable place and plates! The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the waffles! It felt they were warmed up and not fresh. But I will definitely go back 😃

Had the afternoon tea here via a Groupon and it was absolutely amazing left feeling full and the mimosa was lovely. Fresh tasty food and amazing vibes with the neon light and pretty atmosphere. Lovely coffee as always. Staff were very accommodating and friendly would come back again any day! Small inside so worth booking online but it adds to the cozy vibe!

Very good prices. Marvellous sandwiches and good coffee. The staff are always so helpful when I take my mum in who has difficulty walking. Can't wait to be able to go back in.

Just passing through but what a find beautiful little Maypole cafe, we had 2 salad boxes which were delicious to takeaway and the best homemade Bakewell tart we've ever tasted. Very clean, lovely friendly staff we will be back definite well worth a visit.

Their sandwiches excellent- the bread is gorgeous. I only get a take out sandwich once a week when visiting Mum but it is a real treat. The staff are lovely.

Well… it’s the 1st time I’ve ever had a sandwich from here …. Where’s this shop been all my life ! Wow , I ordered 2 bacon and egg 1 in ciabatta and other in white bread . The bacon was outstanding as was the rest of the sandwich and my companion said the same .. we both agreed that it was best thing we have ever had in our gobs . Well done you guys . We will be back .

Lovely little coffee shop and café with a nice selection of fresh locally baked goods. Cakes looked delicious and a coffee was very nice. Nice little selection of local produce to take away as well. Definitely going back again!

Popped in whilst waiting to pick up my child from nursery. Service was friendly and quick, nice quiet place where I could have a drink, sandwich and read in peace for an hour!

Such a cute coffee shop that is located heart of Chapel Allerton city centre. Coffe tasted great, the shop was nice and clean! There are some outside tables available as well as inside.

The best coffee in Leeds! Lovely, friendly, knowledgeable staff and a delicious selection of cakes and sandwiches. I love that it's both kid and dog friendly, good for those with dietary requirements, and the rotating batch brew is a great way to try new, interesting blends from roasters all over the UK. Cannot recommend this place enough

I have been using Somewhere different since this place opened. Very good quality food that never fails to tick every box for me. I'm not the easiest of customers but All my requirement's and what ever mood I am always serviced with a laugh, a smile and a satisfied stomach. thankyou

Lovely cafe with friendly atmosphere, food options are delicious and enjoyed by all visiting our office. They also offer a gluten free breakfast option and daily specials.

Recently reopened, the Union Coffee house is a great place to enjoy Sunday brunch. We had the eggstravaganza ( one with bacon, another with salmon, both delicious and generous in portion size) accompanied by great tasting coffee. The service was friendly and efficient. We look forward to another visit next time we're in Leeds.

The refurb is lovely, I can tell they are still adding some final touches but it’s so much better than before, a lot more airy. Coffee is still amazing and the food is lovely too. I’ve had the avocado and salmon sandwich and salmon eggsatravaganza. Would be good to have a few sandwiches pre made for on the go / meal deals or a quick lunch like they previously did. Really really good value for money and extremely fresh ingredients and lovely staff. I’m happy it’s re-opened, I’ve been quiet a few times now and it’s been really consistent too.

Popped in here for Sunday brunch while wandering about Leeds, the menu is small but perfect for what we were looking for, eggs Benedict on steroids! Nice coffee. Our little dog enjoyed it too

Been visiting this place since 01. Every motorcycle you can think of will probably turn up sooner or later. Proper Yorkshire tea is served in a mug. Local pasties always available. Great staff and plenty of parking. Usually something going on through the summer on most weekends. Camping and caravan pitches also. A must visit if your a biker.

I took my son for a night for the rock and bike festival and we absolutely loved it. Everyone made us feel welcome and we had help (I forgot the pump) to set up. We felt safe and looked after. Facilities were clean and well stocked. The girls behind the cafe counter could use an attitude check but apart from that, perfect. We will be back :)

me and my partner quite frequently order the carvery from this amazing cafe and do not have one bad word to say about it. the portions are massive, you get a ton of meat which is always perfectly cooked and tender. all of the trimmings are also delicious too! one takeaway portion could probably feed two people if done right, but me and my partner are too greedy so we always get one each 🤣🥰
