Everything about this little converted horsebox is fabulous! The coffee is amazing, it’s so clear from the off that Vinnie loves his coffee and knows what he’s doing on that front. The range of coffees (espresso machine based, aeropress, filter) teas and other hot drinks for such a small outlet is really impressive. The hot chocolate with toasted marshmallows is a real treat on a cold winter’s afternoon! They always have a good range of baked goods and interesting cold drinks too. Vinnie, the owner, is super friendly and always happy to make recommendations if you’re not sure. A walk along the river isn’t complete without a visit!

Best coffee in Leeds! Tucked away right by the canal, perfect place to get a hot drink (or cold) to walk with. Also a selection of cakes which are often changing, so you can try a new one each time! If you’re a coffee geek, you’re guaranteed to have a great experience with a very knowledgeable and friendly barista, but I must also recommend the hot chocolate- one of the best I’ve had (and comes complete with whipped cream and a toasted marshmallow). Well worth the visit 😊

We popped here before attending the game convention around the corner. This little van had a nice selection of coffees I had to try the matcha with toasted marshmallow and a spinach ricotta 5 With excellent service this was soon masterfully created. This was timed perfectly as a large queue formed. The flavours were nice but it was a cold day so the pastry was cold and you had to drink it quickly! Overall really nice place that would definitely try something else on the menu.

We stopped by coffee_synthesis recently, and, what an experience!🌟We tried their Mocha, and it was absolutely divine—creamy, rich, and with just the right balance of espresso and chocolate🍫💖 what also blew us away was the Aeropress coffee—it was so clean, smooth, and flavorful, bringing out the unique character of their beans.🌍✨Flat white and hot chocolate with marshmallow are also recommended. Mchales catered for my mums 92nd birthday 🎂. Absolutely brilliant customer service and fantastic buffet. Great value and really tasty food. Lots of choice and healthy options plus of course excellent cakes 😊🍰🧁🥧. Will use again and highly recommend

Lovely little coffee shop. Only had coffees but they were served with a smile from the lovely young lady. Food looked nice and we will definitely go back soon to try the food. Great little local business

Very enjoyable evening here. We had our own little room to dine in so felt like a VIP experience! It was cosy, christmassy and relaxed. Our waitress was really attentive and chirpy. Very reasonably priced and lovely food. We will be back again 😀

A little taste of Italy right on our doorstep! An experience like no other…. It’s like going to a friends house for tea….. and what a tea! In what used to be a station house you literally eat in what would originally have been a living room, a bedroom or a sitting room. We were lucky enough to get a room upstairs which was all ours! Lovely decor, very welcoming feel to it. We were made to feel at home and by the time we left you feel as though you eaten at a friends house. The food was incredible! Best garlic mushrooms I’ve ever eaten. Lasagna was fantastic, pizza incredible and there was a great choice of food on the menu. Definitely coming back. Portions are big and I left ready to burst. The owners are very attentive to your needs and the young man serving was polite and set a great example of what customer service is all about. Worth checking out? Yes Food great? Yes Coming back? Yes Lots of parking? Yes Overall 10/10

We came here for breakfast and loved it so much that we came for dinner a couple of weeks later. The food is really good and the atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommend!

The best meal out I've had in a very long time! The service is just superb, super lovely, friendly staff and a proper family vibe. If possible, the food is even better, amazing portions and quality, left feeling very happy. Great price as well! This place is banging!!!

5/5 stars. I'm so glad I stumbled upon Josettan's Wave, a hidden gem for authentic Kerala cuisine! Their take-away service is prompt and efficient. The food is absolutely delicious and reminiscent of home-cooked meals. I highly recommend their Chilli pork and Beef dry fry - it's a must-try! The prices are very reasonable too. Can't wait to order from them again!

We ordered the Mandhi chicken and with rice and thattukada fried chicken combo. The food was well-priced, and delivered promptly in line with promised time. The meat was well spiced and had the right levels of salt. I mention this especially as most other places I have tried around the Leeds area tends to disappoint in this category. The rice was flavourful and the portion sizes were generous. We will definitely be ordering again!

I am absolutely delighted to have discovered Josettan’s Wave Indian Takeaway! The food is outstanding, and the service is top-notch.I tried the Beef Dry Fry, sethupathy Chicken, and Chicken Biryani, and each dish exceeded my expectations. The Beef Dry Fry was cooked to perfection, with tender, flavourful beef and a rich taste.The Sethupathy Chicken was incredibly aromatic, with a beautiful balance of spices and herbs. And the Chicken Biryani? Absolutely divine! The rice was cooked to perfection, and the chicken was juicy and flavorful.The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. The food was delivered promptly, and the packaging was secure and eco-friendly.What truly impressed me, however, was the outstanding customer service. We recently ordered Butter chicken and Pulav. It was an outstanding experience. Food was incredibly delicious, authentic - would definitely recommend. The portion sizes were generous, making the meal feel like great value for the price. Waiting for next offers. Keep going and All the very best.

Found this absolute gem of a place. The interior is so stylish, but don’t let that distract you from the coffee. The staff are so passionate and knowledgable, they took time to talk to us about the coffee and we had a fantastic couple of hand brews. Worth every penny.

Coffee lovers have to try Raw Coffee. It's more than just a coffee shop it is an experience. The staff here are full of knowledge and actually take the time to talk to you about what they sell. They don't focus purely on espresso but a variety of brewing methods. Unreal quality drinks and exceptional service. Will be back asap.

Atmosphere is great in this little coffee shop. The staff are very attentive in ensuring you get the right tasting coffee for your wants. The space is a little cramped, but they have done very well in making it work. The decor inside is very zen-inspired; it may be too much for some people as it sacrifices a bit of comfort to achieve this. The coffee and the cakes are delicious, with the more unique swan latte art over the heart all others go for - expressing the skill of the barista. Would highly recommend as they have a fairly large selection of beans to choose from - though I would have liked more chocolatey options. The majority are fruit and citrus based notes.

Recently discovered this place. It serves very, very, good coffee. And the bagel was, honestly, one of the best I've had in a long while. Interesting, contemporary decor inside. And the staff give you a warm welcome. I'll definitely be back again when I'm in Leeds.

Just met up with a friend here and it was my first visit. Busy cosy cafe with amazing home cooked good. The buttermilk pancakes with syrup were absolutely delicious and I will certainly be back soon to try the yummy cakes i kept hearing about..

First time today with my daughter. I must say the food truly exceeded my expectation. It was very busy at the time and we were told to wait outside with the outdoor heating on. We were given a table inside fairly quickly. Not many cafes would do Turkish eggs and I’ve tried this at 3 different cafes and by far House of Koko is by far the best. The bread came with it was thick and fluffy. We’ll definitely be back again!

Popped in for coffee, while I waited for my wife to have her eye operation, but ended up having a very nice breakfast indeed - it's not very often I'm in this neck of the woods living out York way, but with the wife going in for eye surgery at a local hospital and a wait of a couple of hours, no point in travel back home to turn round an come straight back. Thats why the coffee hunt, so glad I did - good strong coffee with a very nice eggs royale, on an english muffin. Spot on and service was excellent

We visited on the day they were releasing their new menu and the food was absolutely unreal. So beautiful and so tasty. They have nailed it! I had the smashed peas. Everyone working was so lovely and one of the chefs even came out to deliver a sauce and explained what was in it and a bit about the food. Can tell they were excited about the new menu and for good reason. Can’t recommend it enough.

The roasted squash special and kimchi kroque were unreal. Looked so good I had the first bite before taking the photo... 😅

Dropped in for a coffee and pastry before catching a train. Perfect setting on the edge of the canal and I can only imagine on a sunny day outside would be bliss (it was a typically rainy Leeds day on our visit). Coffees were excellent, cappuccino was perfect as was the oat latte. Pastry was fine, nothing to write home about but filled the gap. I would return as an alternative to the chains which populate the area.

Excellent coffee in Granary Wharf! We got our espresso beverages from this nice little place every day (twice a day) while staying at a nearby hotel for a few days recently. Perfect latte every time! Great toasties and fresh baked goods. This place is really cosy. It has an indoor and outdoor seating. Staffs are friendly. Fully recommend!

Really nice spot for a coffee and a cake, especially if the weather is good and you can sit on the tables outside as the location is lovely by the canal. Staff have always been kind, polite and quick. I had a caramel brownie here once about a year and a half ago and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since! ☕️

Just want to have a boast coffee before the canal walk to Saltaire. It is good coffee, which is a good start. A good place to stay for a while.

The food is fabulous, highly recommend the Turkish eggs and also the pastries. I would suggest asking for some of the pastries to be heated like spinach & feta or the chocolate, hazelnut and pear (they won't offer but will do upon request). Coffee is great, and service is rapid meaning you can stop before your train. Booking looks advisable as always busy.

Incredible place! I wish I had a better photo of how it arrived! Honestly one of the best English breakfasts I have ever had. It is difficult to elevate a fry, but they managed. Mushroom with lemon and thyme, homemade beans, perfect poached eggs, great coffee. Seriously impressive place. Everyone else was really happy with the food as well. Service was fast and kind.

This is my first visit to this establishment, and I must say it has left a remarkable impression on me. Opting for breakfast here in the morning was undoubtedly the right choice. From the very first moment, the young and attentive staff ensured a warm and welcoming experience. The time spent here, combined with the unique atmosphere, is as exceptional as the food itself. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who has yet to try the local cuisine – it is truly worth the visit.

Arrived, Leeds is a mission and half to drive to over Xmas. Breakfast with extra egg, amazing did look at the pancakes, but I'm having something like that for the dessert or sweet. Upstairs was packed. Will book a reservation in future. Spiced chocolate cake? I think.p

The refurb is lovely, I can tell they are still adding some final touches but it’s so much better than before, a lot more airy. Coffee is still amazing and the food is lovely too. I’ve had the avocado and salmon sandwich and salmon eggsatravaganza. Would be good to have a few sandwiches pre made for on the go / meal deals or a quick lunch like they previously did. Really really good value for money and extremely fresh ingredients and lovely staff. I’m happy it’s re-opened, I’ve been quiet a few times now and it’s been really consistent too.

Popped in here for Sunday brunch while wandering about Leeds, the menu is small but perfect for what we were looking for, eggs Benedict on steroids! Nice coffee. Our little dog enjoyed it too

Had a really nice cappuccino in here whilst I read my book. Staff were lovely and the coffee was decent quality. I only wish that there were cushions on the seats as I was uncomfortable pretty immediately after sitting down. If you could put a basket of seat cushions out I would come more often and stay longer and have a few more coffees :)

Recently reopened, the Union Coffee house is a great place to enjoy Sunday brunch. We had the eggstravaganza ( one with bacon, another with salmon, both delicious and generous in portion size) accompanied by great tasting coffee. The service was friendly and efficient. We look forward to another visit next time we're in Leeds.
