What a hidden gem, we will definitely be back from another breakfast. Hubby had the avocado with chorizo, daughter scrambled eggs with extra bacon and I had a humble bacon sandwich. Good coffee and even had proper jasmine tea. Nothing went to waste and the staff were really welcoming.

Very impressive menu, with very tasty vegan options. The coffee is very good and better because the staff knows what they are selling. So that is more appreciated. One of the vegan sandwiches has a sauce, so tasty I had to ask. The staff was kind enough to say what it was. So shows they take a lot of effort of to their service. Very cosy location and I can see why it is so popular. Will be back many times from now on.

One of the most charming and distinctive features of the restaurant is its table assignment system. Instead of traditional numbers, each table is identified with animal figures. Nice little independent cafe tucked away in a side street next to the train station. Only a minute’s walk away and much better to support a local business than the big chains. Nice coffee too!

Absolutely love this little cafe. I dine with my friend once a week, the food is always superb, the coffee splendid, and the service is spectacular. The girls that work here are very friendly and always make you feel welcome. The deserts that are made look absolutely amazing, the food is delicious. Honestly could not recommend this place highly enough. Would add far more stars if I was allowed to!

Gourmet Queens provided the buffet for 50 guests at our Diamond Wedding Anniversary party last weekend. We received so many comments about the lovely food. June was so friendly, efficient and helpful from our first meeting through to delivery of food to the hall on the day. We'd not visited before but received such a warm and friendly welcome by the owner. She highlighted a few items on the menu we might like. We enjoyed our lunch of a blt and avocado and eggs on toast. Will definitely be back!

We visited the Dome cafe today for Friday Breakfast. We have a break from the site and often try different cafes near to our workplace. The food was good as was the service and the staff were all amazing polite and friendly. The cafe itself was pleasant and immaculately clean. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

Went to the Zoom café today for a breakfast with friends and family. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked in the door. The staff were friendly and professional and the manager on duty was excellent taking my order as I wanted to make a few changes to my breakfast. The food was really good quality made with really good ingredients and served with a smile. I would definitely recommend The dome café to anyone and everyone who was looking for somewhere to dine out for a cheap and cheerful meal. The dome café also supports an excellent cause and as an excellent example of a business that also helps its community.

Some of the best DeNata’s my parents have had - I often take some back for them when I go back to fleet! The vegan DeNata’s are good as well. The coffee & breakfast is also the best I’ve had in Reading! Definitely recommend 😃

Ana was an absolute sort! She was helpful, knowledgeable and went above and beyond by making her first ever home made franceshina sauce. Fluent in Portuguese and does her best to make sure everyone is comfortable! The chef was great too, nice and intuitive! Thanks for making my birthday meal a memorable one!

Lovely people here. Good coffee and the BEST Pastel de Nata I have had since I can remember. The picture is of their Bifana Porto, the National Sandwich of Portugal. I had nothing to compare to never having tasted one before, but it was too plain for my taste. I will deffo be back to try other stuff though, because their heart is certainly in the right place.

Lovel and tasteful food. The cakes are amazing! As soon as you get in you feel the smell to fresh food in the making.

What a wonderful b&b! We absolutely lucked out by finding this great place. Lesley was such a wonderful host and was so friendly and welcoming. I would 1000% recommend staying here. We stayed one night in the King Executive Garden Room. It was huge!! Great facilities and friendly/professional host. Beautiful house, extremely well presented and tastefully decorated. We all enjoyed our stay and slept well. Lovely breakfast in the morning and the best coffee! Thank you for having us x

We stayed here for one night as we had a wedding at Silchester Farm. It was an easy 7 minute drive away. The whole place was clean, modern and had everything you could want. The breakfast was really good too with eggs from the resident chickens! Lesley was a great host and couldn’t do enough for you. We even got to meet the dog Ted and Harry the cat 😄. Would definitely recommend this lovely little b&b.

I stumbled across this cafe whilst in the area and really glad I did. This is possibly the best breakfast I've had, certainly in the Basingstoke area. Next time I'm in this part of the world again I will be popping in for another visit.

Great fresh food cooked to order not like some places that keep it warm!! Great staff and swapping items wasn't a fuss, kids high chair too so not just for dusty workmen, clean tables and floor. All round great place

Passed through here and Charlie’s cafe never let me down , nice breakfast, nice cuppa . Only complaint that there was not enough Bubble. And too be fair it was good Bubble aswell.

We had a lovely visit. The food, staff and atmosphere were wonderful.

Such a wonderful spot for a lunch, brunch or afternoon tea! All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Beautifully decorated, food is delicious and handmade with a great selection, and the outdoor seating area is lovely to sit out in the sunshine with a cup of tea.

AMAZING! I recently was surprised by my family with an afternoon for my birthday at The Parlour Tearoom and I could not fault anything. The place itself is so beautiful with quirky little quotes, beautiful decor and is spotlessly clean. The service was amazing, all the staff went above and beyond and could not do enough for us. There was 10 of us and nothing was too much trouble, they also ensured we always had what we needed or any extras. The food was exceptional. All the sandwiches were so fresh and tasty! The scones were to die for- still warm with large amounts of cream and jam provided which was so yummy! Then the cakes… well the cakes were just beautiful! Different options to suit everyone and any that wasn’t eaten was boxed up for us to take away. From start to finish the team, environment and food was faultless. Myself and my friends/family will most definitely be returning. Lucy and her team should be very proud of what they have and I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thank you ❤️

We enjoyed the last meal in england before flying home. The cake and sandwiches we ordered were excellent in taste and outlook. The staff are nice. Would visit again.

A delightful gem hidden away at the back of the garden centre. A very good selection of food and drinks and ample space to sit and enjoy the views. Very friendly staff who look after you well.

Lovely coffee shop. Great selection of cool drinks on a hot day! Plenty of choice for lunch options as well as lots of cake! With catering for vegans and vegetarians too. Lovely space to sit outside in the warm weather with umbrellas for shade and easy parking. Plus, we always get fantastic service here, nothing is ever too much trouble, really friendly staff. Lovely quiet little coffee shop. Great coffee and nice bacon rolls. Ladies that work there are very friendly and helpful. Cakes look great but not tried any yet! (Update - tried the cakes and Reallly good. Brownies are amazing and toffee & walnut a hit with the parents) Its a really buzzing little coffee shop where you are always made to feel welcomed. Very kid friendly. So come and support this small business. I regularly visit Jolly Olly’s. The drinks and food are great quality with cakes daily and the recent introduction of fresh sourdough bread loaves that can be purchased to take out. Jo, Janet and the team are friendly and welcoming. I also wanted to take the opportunity to comment on Ian Marshall’s recent review. Jolly Olly’s did close temporarily but the sale to the new owner fell through. Jolly Olly’s is now open again.

Very good experience overall! A few minor issues, but nothing major. Would still recommend!
