Possibly one of the best pubs in this part of the country! Warm, old, inviting, with proper home cooked food and real ales. What pubs should be!
Had a lovely stay here. Great location and our room was very clean and had everything we needed. Dog friendly. The pub is beautiful and the food was amazing. We all enjoyed our evening meal, very tasty but also great portion sizes and reasonably priced. Breakfast was lovely too and again very generous portions. There is a sandpit area outside for the children which our little boy loved. We would definitely re book.

We enjoyed a family meal here. It's a lovely old pub, a real hidden gem. The starters were all very nice and of a good size too. I enjoyed my roast beef, but some of our party weren't happy to find the beef very pink.
Fantastic pub, great food and great prices. Really warming atmosphere and decor too!
