“A nice little cafe in the Fullflood area of Winchester. I popped in for coffee and cake, and the selection didn't disappoint. The cakes were really good quality and very tasty, and the coffee was very good too. The atmosphere is nice and it's nice sitting in the window watching the world go by. The service was very friendly and attentive, and I thought the price was very reasonable for the quality of what is on offer. They also had a great looking selection of salads, quiches and sausage rolls, so I'll certainly be back to try those out another time!”

“Outstanding! From the attentive staff, to the amazing food they serve, to the wonderful atmosphere that transcends and transports you into a world of love, culture and art. We discovered this piece of gem by pure chance, when exploring the city centre and thought we should try it out, as it looked very interesting when passing through…what a wonderful surprise we’ve had! The best basque cheesecake I’ve tried so far in the UK! The sandwiches they serve are authentic, made with the most delicious home bread ♥️ Just before we left, we had the pleasure to exchange a few thoughts with one of the owners…such a pleasure, such a wonderful spirit It will always now stick with us “the Bloomsbury group and their - “live in squares, paint in circles and love in triangles” Life’s magic is everywhere and in everything !”

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Cart & Horses in Kings Worthy, near Winchester, and it was an exceptional experience. The pub beautifully blends its 18th-century charm with modern amenities. The interior is warm and inviting, featuring original brickwork, oak beams, and open fireplaces that create a cozy atmosphere. The thoughtfully designed pub garden, complete with an outside bar and firepit, offers a tranquil setting for al-fresco dining, we didn't use this space as it was a cold February evening.. The menu is impressive, as is the extensive drinks selection. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring a memorable dining experience. The Cart & Horses offers a delightful blend of historical charm, modern comfort, and culinary excellence.”

“Great selection and range of high quality products sold here which is well and clearly presented. Foodie delight. Medium size cafe with outdoor seating. There are vegan and gluten free choices but limited when you go to the cafe which is a shame. 2 disabled parking bays available but no official place to park bicycles outside which again is great shame. There's a good florist attached to the farm shop. Small selection of indoor and outdoor plants but depleted over time. Great choice of cheeses and pies. Like to the fact they offer samples and great size butchers at the back of the shop. Great selection of locally sourced produce.”

“I am a Japanese couple who visited here at the beginning of the year a year ago. We had hot chocolate and milk and had afternoon tea for the first time in the UK. There were photos of the British Special Forces during World War II in the shop, and I was curious about them, so I asked the waiter about them. He gave me detailed information and I was very impressed. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you.”
