Lovely gem of a place, very vegetarian and vegan friendly range of yummy dishes presented very well with plenty of flavours. Great stock of home decor and furnishings. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and chilled decor. Highly recommended.

Still love this place...went for my trusted favourite French toast with berry compote and creme freche - delicious. Service was friendly and my dog was well catered for with treats and water brought for her. Cappuccino was great too. Highly recommend.

It’s located just in the precinct, plenty of pay parking nearby. During the daytime it’s a. eatery & there are little shops within a shop, plenty of the usual but a lot of quirky things on sale too. We visited on a Friday evening, it was an ‘Open Mike’ night. Plenty of brave souls getting up & playing and singing, all very good & entertaining. The audience are very appreciative & show it with a good support. Get along, the first Friday of the month I believe.

This is a lovely breakfast place. The food & drinks were delicious, the service very friendly and also I was super happy about the gluten-free options for breakfast. Would always go there again and do strongly recommend.

Amazing cafe with great pies and mash and co.puter games so much to look up as a sci fi gaming family it was right up our ally and we appreciated all the little touches... so impressed. Especially the posters and hand dryer.

Food is DELICIOUS - we went on a Saturday for lunch, and the vegan options did not disappoint. Generous portions and original ingredients. Loved by Don Bourguignon pie. The Not Dog pie is also great. Amazing decor for fans of video games / movies / series. Toilets are Star Wars themed. They have old video games available to play too! Couple of suggestions: Cleanliness - high chair for our child was really dirty, we had to use several baby wipes before we could sit him down in it. Waiters completely ignored him too (which seems to be very common in the UK... but children are people too!) Lots of great paraphernalia but a lot of it looks pretty dusty/dirty! Otherwise, we will be back to try the rest of the menu, thank you 😊

Such a cool place, took lots of pics of the decor! Very reasonably priced. My chicken pie was great, but my mash was cold, the meat in my friend's beef pie wasn't very tender and his mash was cold too...however, the gravy and the liquor were top notch and, the pastry was fantastic and the flavours were great! We'd definitely go back ***update*** We went back! Friend made a better pie choice (BBQ chicken), mash was hot, pies were crisp and delicious, only thing that wasn't as good was the liquor this time. But I'd now give 4.5 stars. Staff also lovely

Went here today couldn't eat as was fully booked but did manage to have a quick drink and was a really cool place to visit inside was awesome the menu is only pies and they are very unquie and each table has a computer game that you can play unfortunately we did have one of these tables so didn't manage to test them out might have to come back when it less busy

*revised review* 5 stars all around !! Located right next to Winchester train station this modern, aesthetic, zen cafe offers something different to the average coffee house. My chai spiced latte was traditional, presented beautifully and tasted very different to normal powder packaged drinks. I can also highly recommend the mushroom mocha it is sensational and a great bonus to your day.

I had popped by here in passing and thought it was a sweet little coffee shop. I enjoyed their drinks they had an interesting depth of flavour. However this gem really shinned when I stopped by for brunch, I ordered the Turkish eggs that came with a twist of local honey. This dish was amazing, it had different hits of favourite in each mouthful and was both creamy and rich. I would 100% come back and eat here again. Hats off to your fabulous chef for doing such amazing work especially in such a small space! They have a good range of options for Vegetarian/Vegan.

Hidden treasure of Winchester! Outstandingly good Cacao and coffee. Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Grabbed a sandwich on a whim and it was fantastic. Really lovely change from the boring bits you get in chain shops!

Super cozy atmosphere and friendly staff was good enough for 5 star but the coffee and pastry we had was delightful too. Highly recommended.

I did the two-hour home barista course and it was a revelation. Very well led and facilitated, a nice small group and lots of hands-on practice. One of the most educational, interesting and fun things I've done for a long time. Highly recommended.

This place truly is a gem tucked away in an industrial park! We came across this by accident browsing Google maps, and it’s clearly loved by locals as it had a fairly constant flow of people. We had some pour over coffee, and a couple of sweets that which were both delicious. The coffee wasn’t quite to our taste this time so I think I would have appreciated a bit more forwardness in the staff on the kinds of coffee beans they offer at the counter when we ordered, but they gave good advice when we asked about it upon leaving so I’d be happy to come back and try something else. The decor was very eclectic and cozy, though the sound of grinding coffee beans echoes in the warehouse style space - not necessarily a good place for reading or working but definitely a nice trip out. If you’re a coffee fiend and know your stuff you’ll definitely appreciate this place! It’s also dog and kid friendly.

I have been visiting WCR for a couple of years now and can easily say its the best coffee house and provider in the area. I always stop by when in Winchester for their drinks and get my freshly ground coffee from there, the Flat White Blend is my go to, its perfect! However today I went a step further and purchased one of their Refurb Sage Duo Temp Pro espresso machines that they advertise on their FB page and so had to leave a review to say how pleased I am not only with the product but the level of service provided by Billy throughout. All questions were answered immediately and with such enthusiasm and when going in to pick the machine up he talked me through everything and provided superb customer service. It goes without saying that I had to purchase a bag of fresh Flat White blend coffee for the machine whilst there too! Thanks so much for the service and I look forward to using this machine going forward (Replacing my 8year old one!) and keep up the fantastic work you guys do. Much appreciated.

I’ve worked as a barista for over 7 years & I’d argue these guys are hands down, the most underrated coffee shop in Hampshire! The staff are lovely & certainly know their stuff. You will not find nicer coffee elsewhere (especially not at such fantastic value!!) & their sweet treats are also delicious! If you have a coffee machine at home, I highly recommend their Synergy beans - SO good! You wouldn’t find this place unless you’re looking for it, it’s small & cosy with a unique aesthetic. It can get a bit noisy in the week when the roasting operation is in full swing but this just adds to the character! I just wish they had longer opening hours! A real must visit but prewarning, you’ll probably end up drinking far too much coffee! 🤣

We stopped at Kavi Coffee while waiting for a breakfast table elsewhere, and it was a great find! The coffee was excellent ... rich, smooth, and just what we needed for a short stop. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Would definitely visit again! ☕

Great atmosphere, especially in the back room where you can see the kitchen. Golden hot chocolate was great - sweet honeycomb flavour, light on the chocolate. French toast is sweet, light, and well presented - portion is generous, enough for 2 easily! Bacon sandwich was more like a pork roll with the size, not the normal rashers. All the staff were very friendly. Definitely coming back soon!

So impressed with the quality of food. I had biscoff crumb and caramelised banana french toast and my husband had bacon roll but the bacon was like belly pork! All so delicious, latte art is stunning (look on their insta) and the service was great. I hope more people experience this place

This place is amazing! It's new to Winchester having only been open for a couple of month, me and the family popped in for a late breakfast purely out of curiosity. It didn't disappoint! The food is full of flavor, it's fresh, locally sourced, well presented and the portion sizes are plentiful. We had the kavi breakfast wrap, the bacon french toast, the full English and the Bacon roll with a fried egg. Will definitely go back!

We visited Hoxton Bakery on Tuesday last week and we couldn't of picked a better place for cake and coffee. Warm welcome when we entered by both smiley team members, so much fresh selection of pastries / Sandwiches /Coffee and more! One of the team members was very helpful with me making my mind up as there are so many lovely drinks to chose from! I ended up having a Gingerbread Oat Latte with cream and biscuit topping, a Vanilla bun, my partner had a Flat white with Oat milk and a Cinnamon Bun. All was absolutely amazing and the Seadog coffee is just perfection! Highly recommend, best in Winchester! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Coffee is really good but the pastries.... I dream about those bad boys 🤤! Had the apple cinnamon bun and it's honestly to die for, I mean it might kill you long term via diabetes but honestly it's a risk worth taking.

Chai latte was sooo good we also had a Vanilla bun and a Cheese and Bacon pastry both were delicious. Staff very friendly and seemed to have lots of locals/regular customers which created a lovely atmosphere

Been trying to get to the Hoxton Bakehouse for a while now and I was not disappointed. They have a beautiful display of Bread, buns and sandwiches. I had a coffee and Cinnamon Bun which went down really well. There was a steady stream of people all after cookies and sandwiches. Very quiet and comfortable. Give it a try. Its just off the top of town and around to the right. Easy 5 Stars - Recommended ###############################

Phwoar - what a lovely coffee shop. We had breakfast here today and loved the various coffees we selected - from a piccolo, a flat white to lattes. A range of alternative milks are available. Between us we ate a very crispy bacon sandwich, croissants with jam and butter, a dark chocolate cookie, custard-filled Madagascan vanilla roll and apple and cinnamon roll. All delicious. The lighting and seating is so stylish, staff were super helpful. There’s a free water station and it’s dog- friendly (we saw so many great dogs today!) A great cafe - would definitely recommend a visit if you’re in Winchester.

Yesterday 2:30pm Cold brew+ almond 🥐 Coffee was superb!!!Not acid,not bitter. Just the right way. I am converted! 🥐 was huge & delicious. I has 1/2 of It and take away the rest. Very nice Young staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Cute and modern glass & coffee pot, cool interior design. I Will go back no Matter It IS not cheap. Totally worth It. Can't wait to show my friend,too.

Really nice big and stylish space - very Scandinavian in appearance, loads of seating, loads of dogs, perfect combo! The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the coffee here is really tasty. Also had a bacon sandwich - the bread was super crumbly and perfectly toasted, and the bacon was lovely and crispy. The sweet buns are yummy too, especially the vanilla custard filled one.

The coffee, cakes and cookies here are excellent! The baristas are experienced and always make the perfect flatwhite. My friend recently had a skinny hot chocolate which she absolutely raved about.

The Ivy is a great place to eat with unusual food on offer. I had whisky barrel smoked venison tartare to start and goose, turkey, and duck shepherd's pie for my main. The staff were very attentive. My only complaint is the acoustics are very poor and we had to shout across the table in order to have a conversation. It is a popular place as it was packed on a Monday evening a week before Christmas.

Absolutely fabulous place. Staff exceptionally attentive. Food excellent. Exceeded our expectation. Great atmosphere. A celebration of my 80th Birthday. Champagne Hi Tea.. Even provided small cake with candle beautifully decorated.Will definately come back again. Not not just for an occasion. A lasting memory.

What an amazing place for lunch! One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in a very long time. Service excellent, food delicious and an ambiance to savour and enjoy. Thank you Ivy and our server, Cameron, we had a wonderful lunch. We were given surprise birthday cakes to celebrate our birthdays, such a lovely touch. A meal to remember. Can’t recommend it enough.

One word; Amazing 👏 I ordered the roast and I was always sceptical because I love the old pub but was pleasantly surprised my only gripe was as i was eating I saw someone get the beef 😋 and got food envy 😅 nevertheless the roast was succulent, potatoes crisped to perfection and everything was moist and super tasty. Don't get me on the desserts. I could sit there and eat them all day. Sticky toffee pudding 🍮 is intense flavour on the mouth

A friend of mine and I visited for the first time this past weekend. Two coffees (one was a Cappuccino) and two pain au chocolat. The latter were one of the best we've ever had (and I have lived in France). Compliments were given to the chef.

Had the best brunch here! The flavors were incredible, and everything was perfectly cooked. The place itself is super nice and cozy, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Fully recommend to anyone in Winchester!

Greeted with a smile. The food was perfect, and hospitality matched! I recommend trying the house blend coffee, it’s rocket fuel for the morning. Then try something from the brunch menu, it all good and everything has a unique twist on the norm. Occasionally the menu changes with the seasons, the changes are tasty, gives lots of variety for regulars.

Delicious food, especially the soup of the day (curried cauliflower) which was flavourful and creamy without being too rich. Friendly, helpful service and very cosy and well-decorated with plenty of character.

Mum and I visited here for lunch yesterday. She has been before and loved it so wanted to take me. Love the atmosphere here. We shared the cheese peach chutney toastie and the whipped feta on toast. Fab sourdough used. My favourite was the whipped feta on toast. Planning to being the rest of the family for cocktails soon! Thanks :-D

Outstanding! From the attentive staff, to the amazing food they serve, to the wonderful atmosphere that transcends and transports you into a world of love, culture and art. We discovered this piece of gem by pure chance, when exploring the city centre and thought we should try it out, as it looked very interesting when passing through…what a wonderful surprise we’ve had! The best basque cheesecake I’ve tried so far in the UK! The sandwiches they serve are authentic, made with the most delicious home bread ♥️ Just before we left, we had the pleasure to exchange a few thoughts with one of the owners…such a pleasure, such a wonderful spirit It will always now stick with us “the Bloomsbury group and their - “live in squares, paint in circles and love in triangles” Life’s magic is everywhere and in everything !

This is a great place to visit for either breakfast, lunch or just tea and cake. They had great gluten free options and the staff were very careful with the allergy. The staff were really attentive and were happy to help and explain anything the party needed them to. The decor was really cool. We had lunch in the map room which was so interesting and the room took us back in time. The food was delicious and we would definitely visit again.

Only here for some cocktails after a meal else where, the atmosphere was very relaxed, the drinks were good, particular note was Ross, very knowledgeable and attentive. It was a lovely relaxed vibe and I certainly felt very chilled having a couple of cocktails with my wife.
