17 of us went to the Ship and Bell Horndean for an evening meal. I can honestly say the staff are lovely and nothing is too much for them. The food all arrived at the same time which is no mean feat for so many people and was delicious. A super meal at a reasonable price and it's dog friendly. We will certainly be returning. Just remember to sign in your car reg number at the bar so as you don't get a ticket!

When every mouthful is as good as the first.... Popped in for Sunday roast with the family today. I'm glad we booked as tables quickly filled up. The food was delicious and the staff excellent, genuinely a delightful visit. All meals were a good generous portion, and the dog enjoyed a couple of complementary biscuits. Thumbs up for the beer too, "The Pride" was spot on, so I had to have two! We walked there, so no comment on parking. Thanks Ship & Bell, see you again soon.

Last week 19 of us went to dine at the Ship & Bell in the evening. From the time of booking with Lauren, to arriving at the pub, I had first class communication ref our booking and expectations. On arrival we were welcomed with happy cheerful staff. Lauren said that starters would be served at 19:10 which was very punctual. The food was excellent and very good size portions. We were not rushed between courses either. The staff certainly delivered above and beyond. All of my party have asked me if we can return in the New Year. We will be back. Thank you Lauren and all the Staff.

I really love the food at the Ship and Bell. Small menu done really well. There is something tasty for everyone and very good value. I’ve never had a bad meal there. The home made tagliatelle with mushrooms is so good. The service is perfect. The people are lovely, friendly and welcoming. Go for a meal there, you will be very happy.

I've had my 30th birthday party and my dad's 60th birthday party here, and both occasions were great. The staff are friendly, helpful and great with communication. The buffet food was also lovely on both occasions! I would definitely recommend to have an event here. I come here for some lunches and occasional evening meals, the food is lovely and the staff are a great team! Fletcher is one of the great team members 🙂
