Lovely friendly staff and the coffee is great especially the arabica beans for an extra 10p. Atmosphere is subdued, great for reading or catch up. Dogs are allowed or there is dedicated "dog parking" outside with a window view on table 7 perfect for dog owners. Note: £5 card limit which is standard for a small business like this.

Lovely quiet little coffee shop. Great coffee and nice bacon rolls. Ladies that work there are very friendly and helpful. Cakes look great but not tried any yet! (Update - tried the cakes and Reallly good. Brownies are amazing and toffee & walnut a hit with the parents) Its a really buzzing little coffee shop where you are always made to feel welcomed. Very kid friendly. So come and support this small business. I regularly visit Jolly Olly’s. The drinks and food are great quality with cakes daily and the recent introduction of fresh sourdough bread loaves that can be purchased to take out. Jo, Janet and the team are friendly and welcoming. I also wanted to take the opportunity to comment on Ian Marshall’s recent review. Jolly Olly’s did close temporarily but the sale to the new owner fell through. Jolly Olly’s is now open again.

Skip the high st coffee chains and give your money to this local independent cafe. Owner James and his staff are lovely, snacks, cakes and food is freshly cooked on site (try their scones and baked potatoes!), at great prices. A classic cafe and tea room. Love this place.

Went to this cafe this morning to try their vegan breakfast and was not disappointed!! We went for the small breakfast with tea and it wuz all yummy!! Staff are so friendly and it's great to find a local cafe that has such a big range of vegan options!! (They also do cakes and milkshakes and much more so check them out if you're vegan!!) Will definitely return!!

Lovely local one off cafe,staff are wonderful,great selection of meals and cakes and it's fantastic at a good price,why go to a Costa or Nero when you can get better and cheaper at a local run place like this, Great

Outstanding fresh fruit scone!!! You won't regret it, last time I visited here was 4-5 years ago still delicious and really nice sandwiches!

Super friendly staff with a lovely smile. She made an amazing chocolate for me. The afternoon tea set is absolutely worth to try. The chicken sandwiches are delicious and the cheese scone is tasty. Cozy and clean environment.

Went on a Monday and got the vegan full Kimbridge - it was lush! The only “criticism” is that I’d have liked 1 more hash brown because they were perfection and there was waaaaay too much butter lol. But we will definitely be going back. The courgette fritters were fried to perfection. Great atmosphere, lovely location and the staff were very accommodating!

Saturday I had Chicken snitzel and my wife had the Haddock we both enjoyed the food. We returned on Sunday I had the Bacon belly and my wife had the scallops we both enjoyed so much so that I said complements to the Chef. Wonderful food. Good atmosphere and a craft shop too.

I was treated to an afternoon tea at Kimbridge Barn by a wonderful friend in March 2024. What an experience. We were seated in the window in the sunshine. Staff could not be more attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. The scones were huge - the size of a large mango - but beautifully soft & delicious and served warm. The sandwiches were scrummy, the ham hock mayo my favourite. The sunshine melted the sour cherry chocolate bar as we weren’t paying attention! It too tasted wonderful. Will definitely come back when the weather warms up. The package included unlimited teas and americano coffee. Would have been nice to include one special coffee like a latte for the price, but small niggle.

Found this place by chance after camping in the New Forest for the weekend. 100% recommend, a great menu and yummy food. I had the chicken and waffles and it came with a generous helping of maple syrup. The only thing I would change is serving the syrup on the side. I also had one of the best chai lattes I’ve ever had. Our dogs were made to feel welcome and were given treats by the staff. Thank you so much for a lovely breakfast!

We found this place by chance when trying to get somewhere that met half way between our friend group. What a great find! We had lots of dietary requirements for our afternoon tea and they were really accommodating. Lovely atmosphere and staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back again ☺️

My favourite place in Newbury to have a relaxing cup of tea by the canal. Particularly if the sun is out. Breakfast is fabulous too. Everything cooked fresh to order. Lovely staff too. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Lovely little cafe overlooking the canal. Food was nice - savory dishes were a nice size and tasty. Cakes were nice looking, but sadly a few were a bit dry. Service was very good, very friendly staff. Would happily return, and look forward to it. Paid car park right next door.

Lovely place by the canal, with picturesque views and aesthetic interior. The tea sevice is delicious and well worth it. Sweet, but sometimes you want that! Makes a good chai too.

Nice little farm shop and tearoom with super friendly staff, great produce and good butcher. We sat outside and watched the lambs, claves and piglets. Recommended.

Found this fab little gem by chance on the way home from work and had to stop off! Absolutely beautiful surroundings and the farm shop has amazing food and produce! I purchased some fresh sausages from the in-store butchers which went down a storm for dinner.

I had a great flat white and a lovely pear tart. Beautiful view from the outside area. Bought a pork chop from the butcher for my dinner, which I am looking forward too- I thought the price of the meat was good value, considering you can see the pigs while drinking your coffee! Will return. Thanks guys :-)

Real food produced by real farmers who care about what they do. There's such a community buzz about this place, i don't think the area would be the same without it, It's a real hub in this part of the area now. Just get up there and have a look at the views, then go and see all the food they have on offer. Every time i've bought from here i've always been wowed by the taste and quality of the food and i'm always happy with what we come away with. The butcher is always really helpful with sorting me bones for my dogs and he knows his stuff when i want a bit of steak or pork crackling joint. The sausages! You have to try them! The rump is the best i've ever tasted, far better than anything you'll ever buy in a supermarket. They have everything you need there to put the rest of a decent meal together too. The tea shop is really good and they have excellent cake! Very down to earth friendly people. The best farm shop in the area and i'm sticking with them.

A really nice place to visit .. it was my first time there.. & will definitely return soon.. . Such nice friendly staff.. I don't think I've visited any business, in recent year's, that have impressed me more.. excellent... I do not have a garden/ or allotment any more.. just window sills/an a few troughs outside back door... but you don't need a garden to get enjoyment from here... Lovely... Depending on what you look at.. prices are either good.. or no thanks ( what?). . Cafe was expensive...( glad I wasn't paying). Shame,, because it spoilt experience,, Breakfast looking good.. but didn't live upto description on menu.. was OK.. but wasn't really nice.. & definitely not for the price.. ( I even left some of mine, as did my family). Shall definitely return..( maybe a coffee,, but avoid food).

Lots of interesting gifts plants and food. Long Barn is not quite unique but a very special place. They must take a long time planing to make everything perfect, from the quality of the Clothes to gifts and a special service in the Cafe. This is a very exclusive venue accessible by all. The displays and attention to detail is fantastic and the indoor plant area displays are something special. We had some very good service in the Cafe and the food was of a very high standard. Small carefully thought out outdoor display and lavender fields.

Coffee and patisserie were excellent and the cafe had both indoor and outdoor seating and although it was quite popular we didn't have to wait long to be seated and there were plenty of tables. Staff were friendly and efficient and the prices quite reasonable. The lavender fields behind the Long Barn are free to visit and very relaxing. I guess that must be the scent from the lavender! There is free parking on site, however there don't seem to be many spaces and I imagine it's busy at the weekends. We visited mid-week and had no problems.

Sometimes you miss the nice places that are on your own doorstep. Today we found the Long Barn. Had a nice time mooching around and then a good value cafe and coffee. Attentive and happy staff and lovely surroundings. Thank you for our great visit. We will be back

Great little cafe and farm shop just off the M4. Perfect stop for our onward journey to Hampshire with plenty of fast chargers for electric cars. We were able to charge car and have a delicious lunch made from local produce which was a win win situation!! Service in the cafe is fantastic from someone seating you, taking your order and coming to take payment. You’re getting quality food and service so while it might not be the cheapest you are definitely getting quality produce and service. It’s a must to to then browse around the farm shop for a while to get some quality produce to take home! The butchery meats are amazing.

Enjoyed my burger and Cinnamon Roll Latte. Others at the table had fruit juices and lattes with cake and scones. A little pricey perhaps. No one pointed out that they have specials which were not on the menu, someone at the table noticed them high on a wall after I had received my meal and there were things on the specials I’d have preferred - so look up if nothing on the menu sparks interest for you. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Lovely views. Good service. 3 hours free parking.

Ordered a breakfast, which took almost 30 mins to arrive. I had finished my tea before it even arrived. Stokes condiments, which are my sons favorite. Food was nice, but I feel for Swindon it's a bit pricy. However the place was full! Plenty of outdoor seating available too. There were no cakes that were dairy free or vegan. There were 2 choices for gluten free. The restaurant was very clean. Large car park with upto 3 hours free parking. Farmshop next door. Useful location near the ridgeway and enroute from Swindon to Marlborough. Not far from junction 15 of the M4.

Found this be searching for farm shops and restaurants near to where we were staying. What a fantastic place to eat. Be aware it gets very busy so there might be a wait. It is worth it though. The full English Breakfast was perfect 👌 The service is swift and friendly. I'd recommend it highly
