It was my first time visiting and it definitely will not be my last! Me & my partner were seated quickly with a warm welcome and explained the menu and how to order. The bloody Mary’s were to die for, possibly the best I’ve ever had! The food was fresh and delicious and always served with a smile, worth every penny!

What a nice place to come, have breakfast and relax. This is my first time here and it was a nice ambiance. The food and coffee were amazing. We had the pleasure of having Kate and Laura assist us. They were very attentive. I definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in to Manchester.

Went for brunch today at Ezra & Gil (Helper and Happiness) Hilton Street Manchester. Our server was Kate, she was very helpful and let us change scrambled eggs for poached on 1 of the brunch orders. We asked for the drinks to come with the food so you don't get the drinks first, and then have to order more she was very concerned if we had any allergies, which was excellent. We ordered French toast which was amazing, and 2 breakfasts, the scrambled eggs were the best my wife has ever had and my poached eggs were nice and runny, the food came quickly and was very well cooked and hot Dog friendly always a bonus, lots of high chairs were also available for young families, great mix of customers, both old and young, you can also buy their products , coffee beans and bread, takeaway also available, recommend checking this establishment out, you can also get alcohol .

The design is perfect, the concept is perfect the presentation is perfect. Despite the fact that they’re busy especially on a Sunday, the waiting time for your food is short. The coffee is good (most coffees in Manchester tastes stronger compared to London but this place was good!) I’d say this place is a must visit if in Manchester!

Came for brunch this morning and have to do a special shout out to Abbi, who was so accommodating and lovely! I'm 35 weeks pregnant and she went above and beyond and even though it was so busy, she found me somewhere to sit whilst waiting and even made sure I got a suitable table plus providing service with a smile! The food and coffee was fab too!

Food and drinks are spot on! Salmon comes in generous portions as well as the soup. They’re both flavourful Also they make the best smoothie and milkshakes! Will definitely go back for different menu Service is okay but atmosphere can be loud during peak times

Superior experience. We came for a soft brunch around 11am since we had some small bagels earlier in the morning. First we were waiting around 10 mins while being seated. Order was instant. We followed advice from waitress and got pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Fantastic combination. Flat white and English breakfast tea is a must have option. Restaurant has temperament atmosphere; staff is friendly; served food looks excellent every way I was looking at; and important thing premises are clean. For me nice place for tasty morning breakfast or late morning brunch.

Exceptional food and service. The steak and onion ciabatta was the best I've ever eaten. But you may have to tolerate sweary locals who just dump their kids on the field outside whilst they enjoy a meal and a drink.

Me and my husband came here for breakfast and absolutely loved the place! The staff were super friendly, welcoming and great with allergie sufferers. Didn't have to wait to be seated. It was decorated nicely and the menu was easy to navigate. It was easy to find and there were plenty of car parking spaces located behind the shops. There was a breakfast menu that was easily found online and a specials menu. The food was incredibly nice! I had a special of waffles and Nutella with marshmallows and my husband had eggs, toast and beans. We had lattes which were really nice! I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! Open mics and live music advertised on the boards and lunch offers. Vegetarian options available. Would recommend Definitely will be back! The tapas menu looks fantastic!

What a great little place! Situated on the precinct, it looks quite unassuming from outside. Inside it’s very rustic, with mismatched tables and chairs and exposed pipe work. Every time we’ve visited, whether it be for breakfast, lunch or just drinks, we’ve been very happy with both the food and the service. The harissa steak and eggs is definitely up there with my favourite breakfast I’ve ever had. The cocktails are yummy. And they even have a bookshelf filled with books, colours and board games for the kids.

Went in for brunch today. Nice little cafe and bar, quite busy as well so I recommend a reservation. Appreciate the flexibility on a substitution on the breakfast, good vegetarian options as well. Coffees came out nice and quickly and we really good. The timing on food was a proper disappointment though, people who came in after us with larger orders were served a good 10-15 minutes earlier. Staff are pleasant though, food quality was good.

Absolutely amazing place! Managed to fit us in last minute for a party of 14 including 2 toddlers on a busy Sunday in the beautiful green room! Food was absolutely amazing and great portion sizes! And all of the drinks were very nice too! The staff were very lovely and couldn’t have done more for us! Such a lovely team! Overall great place will definitely be coming back here soon to try other bits off the menu!!!

The food is brilliant and the place is popular for good reason... But I feel the need to highlight that the Irish chap (possibly the manager?) creates an atmosphere of stress that rubs off on customers. It's marred quite a few of our experiences in Playfoots, unfortunately.

Hosted my friends baby shower in the room upstairs. Service and food was amazing. Allowed access 30 mins before to set up and decorate and the team were super helpful. Communication leading up to the event was spot on.

Coming here during weekday afternoon there’s no queue at all, got the chance to visit their biggest branch before but this time wanted to try different branch. The vibes always lively yet warm and cozy. Coming here twice both ordered Turkish eggs, it was creamy, fulfilling and ✨the sauce✨ still amazing. Had the Big Yin because I was craving some haggis and needed to fuel up for a big day. Every meat was savory and cooked to perfection. If you're looking for a more well-rounded meal, you may want to get something else as it did end up being quite a bit of meat. The portion sizes are deceptively big for the price, I wasn't even close to getting through it all! The staff was really attentive despite how busy the place was. Would definitely come back to try that Manc Breakfast next time I'm in town.

This place under promises on the outside and over delivers on the inside. It looks like your average high street cafe, then you step in to a quirky cool place to eat. Service was perfect & food was 5 star, definitely worth the money. I would recommend this place for breakfast we had the Manc Muffins and they are better than a McDonalds one.

Such a lovely atmosphere and cute vibe. I bring my mom to enjoy the afternoon tea and it was perfect. I loved the scone so much. It was fluffy and perfectly match with cream and jam. I also loved the brunch and rest of the cake and tea as well. Definitely recommend🥰

Probably one of the best cafes within NQ! I’ve been a regular for almost a year and the service never fails to disappoint! The staff are very friendly and attentive. They serve the best hot chocolates and probably one of the best brownies within Manchester! Would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone.

I recently visited Sugar Junction with a friend, and we had an absolutely delightful experience! 🥰 Lavender Latte ☕️ This was a highlight of my order. Stopped when passing by and only planned on grabbing a takeaway coffee...... But when I thought I recognised what was presented before me, I couldn't resist.....a Manchester tart. Decided to buy 2.......wasn't enough. This is by far the best I've had. The shortbread case was crumbly and buttery, the jam sweet and slightly tart with some amazing (not your usual "Birds" custard. It was amazing. The lattè I went on n for also turned out to be seriously good, although an afterthought as I was on cloud 9 with these tarts.... Staff were fab and the barista was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great cafe in the heart of Piccadilly. I went there to treat myself to a nice cup of coffee and Oreo vegan cake and was really happy. The waitress took time to answer my questions before placing my order and my meal came right on time. The atmosphere was lovely and cozy and they have sitting area close to the windows for people watching while enjoying a meal.

Situated next to St Peter’s square, opposite the Art Gallery, Vienna Cafe is the perfect location for a nice brunch. Food and drinks were nice, we had potato and leek soup, full English breakfast and Biscoff pancakes; we got orange juice freshly squeezed which ended up being the star of the brunch. The cappuccino was also good. Overall the food didn’t particularly stand out but it wasn’t bad at all. They offer a very good range, would recommend paying a visit to this spot

A convenient brunch spot, located right next to St. Peter’s Square—perfect if you’re short on time. The restaurant doesn’t particularly stand out in terms of design or atmosphere, but the staff were very friendly and kind. I visited Fig + Sparrow based on the numerous 5* reviews on Google. I came on a Friday at 1pm, and it wasn’t too busy. Perhaps 50% of the place was full. There is a good amount of seating available, and when I arrived, there was a small but delicious-looking selection of pastries and bakes on the counter. There is always a wide variety of drinks available on the menu, and a bar at the back which serves savoury food. I asked the lady if the counter items were baked fresh and if they were vegetarian (halal in my case), and she said they were baked fresh, and suitable for vegetarians and halal foodies! The staff were very inviting. The lady explained what each item was, and she even gave me her personal recommendation. 10/10 for such caring staff :) I ordered a Cinnamon Bun and Latte to eat in. Those buns looked too good to overlook. Also, exceptional presentation of all the bakery items. The Cinnamon Bun was delicious! It was sticky, not too sweet, and full of cinnamon and brown sugar flavour. The Latte was also yummy, and had a lovely pattern on top. Overall, I am very happy I visited Fig + Sparrow, and I will definitely bring my friends next time. This place is too good not to share with others! I would highly recommended this place to those who like coffee shops, and just want to sit and chill :D
