Everyone is super friendly and professional, staff know how to make speciality coffee! The place is cute and although it’s tiny, the atmosphere is super cosy and relaxing! Keep up with the good work! This place will be your #1 option for coffee on the go.

Laco Cafe&Bistro is a hidden gem that I visit whenever I get a chance. Even with my limited free time, it’s a spot that never disappoints. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make every visit feel like a mini escape. Their menu has a great range of delicious options, always fresh and thoughtfully prepared, whether you’re in the mood for a light snack or a full meal. If you’re looking for a place that combines quality food with a welcoming vibe, Laco Cafe&Bistro is perfect for both quick stops and lingering when time allows.

The place is not very large, and you need to wait in line to get in. The serving speed is not very fast, but the food is quite good. However, the drinks could be improved—my cappuccino was a bit weak. The staff are very polite and courteous.

Found this little gem of a cafe tucked away on Underbank. Ordered the full breakfast which was excellent. The team here are lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend this cafe.

If you are in or near Stockport, I would recommend maybe walking by or something to see if it is or will be open. I went to look at this place with the family, but it was not open when Google Maps said that it should have been open at the time (This was twice, if I correctly recall). We plan on walking by it again tomorrow; hopefully, it will be open when it should be so. Edit (15/2/2025): Managed to visit with the family, at an earlier point. Tried the French Toast, and while it was quite filling (due to how much there is), it was nice. Also had a mocha, and it was good. As for moving in the building, it can probably be relatively busy, so I would maintain basic caution, but you should be fine.

Lovely place. The coffee is good and they have a good selection of cakes and toasties etc - it’s like Costa but better and without the huge price tag! I love the decor and it has a lovely warm atmosphere If there was one teeny tiny thing I’d love them to change is a nice smelling handwash in the toilets 😅

I’d rate higher if I could! Adore this gem of Stockport. Mix of homely quirky but with clean cut professional feel. Sarah who served us was a delight, catered to my fussy drink order. The two David’s excellent with my questions and queries. Link loved his Pupappuccino. We will be back! 🤍

Welcome CB2!! 👏 Lucky enough to work nearby and very happy to be a new regular! The decor is amazing and lovely to experience in what was a very wasted old building that has been crying out for something like this for a very long time, I've worked nearby for nearly ten years and been in this space through all it's forms and can say absolutely that this is the best I have seen it (by far) and the best service I have experienced (by far). The service is absolutely outstanding and the coffee... Wow! The best I've had for a very long time. Food excellent and super efficient staff. Well worth a visit! Everybody needs a little CB in their lives 🙌😊

Great place and atmosphere. Only thing really is having more Gluten Free and Dairy Free options available. Lovely coffee though and the carrot cake was yum! 🤤

Grounded in the North went down a storm at PlannerFest. There was lots of praise for the quality of the brews and cake! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Loved my visit here. The cute café is in the new Broadstone Arcade. Amazing coffee, lovely menu along with vegan options both to eat and drink, and very attentive service from the team in a clean, modern and cosy setting. Tasty looking menu in general, and saw fresh bread and deli items too. I'm so happy this is round the corner from my house, and I can get take out coffee, too. Had their delicious vegan cherry brownie and an oat milk latte 😍

Great new teeny cafe in New Broadstone arcade development. Amazing coffee, freshly baked cakes (cheesecake was ace) and very friendly welcome. It is a very small place but we squeezed in with my two young children as we got there early before anyone else! Very nicely done up inside. Bring on the craft beer/wines promised in the window for when I visit without the kids!

First time visiting here and I'll definitely be back. The coffee was the one of the best I've had, enjoyed 2 flat whites along with scrambled eggs on sourdough and a Biscoff blondie (so many brownies and blondies to chose from!). Great range of breakfast dishes and sandwiches, really well priced too. Service was excellent also. A great little addition to Reddish!

Loved the food and service here! Highly recommend the Hong Kong Style Pork Chop Bun and Japanese roll cake! Will definitely come back again! Plenty space for parking outside as well!

The best English breakfast I have ever had. Must try the shaken tea and the coffee was amazing. The place is run by bunch of super lovely people from HK. Food was great and in generous portion, the lively atmosphere makes you want to come again! It is situated in the busy neighborhood and should be honored as the hidden gem in city of Manchester.

Fabulous night tonight New Year’s Eve. Really attentive service great atmosphere and exceptional selection of cocktails. The stand out was the “flight of 3 cocktail tasters”, its genius. You get to try cocktails you would never have experienced. The guys who run it are very friendly and my very best wishes to them in 2025.

Great new bar, the cocktails were excellent. Had a really nice old fashioned and would highly recommend the grasshopper for a sweet after dinner drinks. Really welcoming staff and a great atmosphere. We look forward to visiting again and would definitely recommend.

Great atmosphere, lovely design, superb live music on Friday night! Above all, the drinks are stellar. Innovative and traditional choices. Had a wet your whistle trio to start with. The strawberry daiquiri was like a jolly rancher. Winner.

An incredibly good independent coffee shop with a great atmosphere, friendly staff and the coffee is always great. Bonus, they have plenty of choice of retail coffee bags to take home!

Calm, bright and dog friendly. Serving excellent artisan coffee. Cool guys working behind the till. When the sun is out in the morning, grab a pew out front.

Was living in this area few years ago, at that time not that many cafes around and Stomping Ground Coffee not even here yet. Since we tried our 1st cup of coffee here it’s just keep us coming back and it’s never let us down at all. Just one thing I always complain is why are they only opened when we moved out of this area.

Beautiful building, a real hidden gem! It was lovely and quiet around 9:30am on a Saturday. The queue was starting to build by 10am when I left. The brownie had a nice homemade taste, but it was a little dry. I find this is usually the case in cafes, but this was certainly one of the better ones. You can also choose to have it warmed and served with cream when you order. The mocha frappe was also good, but a frappe is different to an iced mocha, so expect it to be sweet!

Popped in today, we loved it. Great value, good coffee and delicious food. Family friendly. Staff are friendly and polite. We will be back again! X

Easily the best coffee shop in Stockport, great building, friendly staff, and good coffee

Really nice and welcoming place with great coffee, friendly staff and delicious treats. The cookies and muffins are really moist and strong in flavour, and the coffee is at the perfect temperature. They also do good “too good to go” surprise bags.

The food was amazing, even the tomatoes was well-cooked, the omelette was perfectly balanced. The oat latte tasted so good too, very creamy taste and not watery at all. It’s really dog friendly there, definitely gonna be my favourite place to go for a nice and chill weekend ☺️💯

1st time at Cafe Wargeh, and a great visit, the omelette was amazing it was huge, filled with spinach, cheese and mushrooms, with a lovely side salad, the cheese toastie was full of cheese. A lovely lunch with very welcoming staff.. A very lovely 1st visit. Thank you

Wow what a place! We’d come up to Manchester for a family funeral and were staying in the area. We didn’t get breakfast in the hotel deciding to sleep in. I googled to see where to get an all day breakfast and this place popped up, so we decided to try it before driving back down south. We loved the restaurant as soon as we walked in. It had a great atmosphere and a divine coffee smell. I’m really picky about my coffee and this didn’t disappoint, gorgeous flavour! It’s obviously a really busy place and we were very lucky to get a table. 10 minutes later they we’re turning people away because they were up to capacity on tables and a food wait time of 30 minutes. We ordered a full feed and a veggie feed. We definitely shouldn’t have ordered chips to share as well, because the breakfasts were a great size. I must admit we did wait over 30 minutes, but it was absolutely worth the wait when it arrived. I always say that good food takes time and this was seriously good food. It was all locally sourced and completely made from scratch, it looked and tasted delicious. The flavour of my pan fried greens were out of this world and to have homemade beans was such a treat. We were able to pick up a couple of boxes of eggs to take home too. We will be recommending FEED General Store to all our family and friends in the area. It’s a great little find. I would suggest you book a table not to be disappointed.
