Visited this place when visiting Manchester. The place is walk-in only at the weekend for brunch. We waited no longer than 20 minutes for our table. The menu has loads of choices. The French toast and pancakes looked amazing. I ended up choose a Full English which was cooked well and had great tasting meats. I recommend this as a brunch place.

Great full English breakfast! Especially the beans, eggs, and mushrooms. Smoked salmon as an extra is also fresh. Sausages and bacon are a little bit too oily for me so I didn’t finish. Potatoes are a bit hard to bite. Cartado to me is too sour (just personal taste). The staff are kind and warm. However I waited for 20 minutes after ordering and I was very hungry. But the taste worth it! Next time I may try a pancake. What’s more, is there any one know what the black stuff on the fork is? It seems like toast but has a taste of meat. Really appreciate!

So good we came here 2 days in a row! I found this location through google due to the high star rating and the super picture perfect food. But its not style over substance. It tastes as good as it looks! The first morning i had apple cinnamon French toast and my husband had chocolate chip pancakes. I had pancake envy and wanted to try the pancakes so the second morning just before our drive home i had the berry pancakes and my husband had the oreo french toast. Both sets of food were exceptional! The service was brilliant and a lovely lady even remembered us discussing where we were going the day before. We wouldnt hesitate to visit again! Highly recommend a trip if your in Manchester!

We regularly come for a weekend breakfast or brunch and wouldn’t go anywhere else. As other reviews have said, the food is amazing and the portions are very generous. Whether you are after something sweet or savoury, there is a great choice and some brilliant specials. The service is also excellent and a special mention must go to Taylor, who is a real star. It is definitely worth the wait if there is a queue outside (and they will lend you an umbrella to keep you dry)!

Stopped by Cafe 19 for breakfast, and it was a fantastic experience! I had the pancakes, which were perfectly fluffy and delicious, while my wife enjoyed the French toast that was just as amazing—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Both dishes were generously portioned and full of flavor. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy, making for a really enjoyable morning. Highly recommend if you're looking for a tasty breakfast spot!

We had breakfast here, a vegan fry up and regular fry up. The bread and homemade baked beans were particularly nice. We both thought the rosti could have had more flavour. Coffee was nice and the staff were really friendly. Will definitely come back. We also took 2 cakes with us which were divine!

I’ve come here a few times and it never disappoints. Came here Saturday afternoon yesterday (five women, a baby, and five dogs) and they made an effort to fit us all in seated inside! Amazing customer service and their chai lattes are great 😊

I stumbled upon the cafe on a bike ride thought I'd take my Mrs back on the weekend but wasn't a great experience for her 😕 Ordered the soup I had a side order with the salmon fishcakes and my wife had the large bowl, as soups go it was the hotest version I'd encountered (spice wise) my wife couldn't handle it and I only managed it with eyes watering. I made the staff aware of this with no acknowledgement from them as to anything they could do. I would have liked a response from the kitchen maybe being able to cool it down with yogurt or something or a refund for it... instead we got blank faces and left feeling disheartened as every other aspect of the place was spot on 🤷‍♂️

My wife and I stumbled upon this lovely place to eat purely by chance, we have been twice the last couple of weeks and are hopefully heading back this week, it is not a restaurant but it seems unfair to classify it as a cafe, it has a relaxed homely feel about it with a phenomenal menu, high class interior that is extremely comfy and very pleasing to the eye, my favourite part of this lovely place is the staff, very smiley, very friendly, very helpful absolutely world class service from all the staff especially the gentleman who I assume is the owner, the Latte I tried is by far the best I have ever tasted anywhere, it tasted to me like a hot cross bun topped with cinnamon, also the sausage and egg on toast was a whole meal on its own that filled me up until Dinner time, located next to the stunning canal in a lovely village in Parbold everything is just perfect about Yours Is The Earth. update, we thought we would go for lunch instead of breakfast this time and the lunch menus is fantastic, we had Spinach, sweet potato and butternut squash soup that is absolutely fantastic, also the steak salad sandwich with wedges was perfect, I can safely say this is a fantastic place to eat, with a very classy tasty menus, staff who always display a world class level of service and a beautiful location for a nice stroke down the beautiful canal matter your food.

The design is perfect, the concept is perfect the presentation is perfect. Despite the fact that they’re busy especially on a Sunday, the waiting time for your food is short. The coffee is good (most coffees in Manchester tastes stronger compared to London but this place was good!) I’d say this place is a must visit if in Manchester!

Went for brunch today at Ezra & Gil (Helper and Happiness) Hilton Street Manchester. Our server was Kate, she was very helpful and let us change scrambled eggs for poached on 1 of the brunch orders. We asked for the drinks to come with the food so you don't get the drinks first, and then have to order more she was very concerned if we had any allergies, which was excellent. We ordered French toast which was amazing, and 2 breakfasts, the scrambled eggs were the best my wife has ever had and my poached eggs were nice and runny, the food came quickly and was very well cooked and hot Dog friendly always a bonus, lots of high chairs were also available for young families, great mix of customers, both old and young, you can also buy their products , coffee beans and bread, takeaway also available, recommend checking this establishment out, you can also get alcohol .

Came for brunch this morning and have to do a special shout out to Abbi, who was so accommodating and lovely! I'm 35 weeks pregnant and she went above and beyond and even though it was so busy, she found me somewhere to sit whilst waiting and even made sure I got a suitable table plus providing service with a smile! The food and coffee was fab too!

It was my first time visiting and it definitely will not be my last! Me & my partner were seated quickly with a warm welcome and explained the menu and how to order. The bloody Mary’s were to die for, possibly the best I’ve ever had! The food was fresh and delicious and always served with a smile, worth every penny!

What a nice place to come, have breakfast and relax. This is my first time here and it was a nice ambiance. The food and coffee were amazing. We had the pleasure of having Kate and Laura assist us. They were very attentive. I definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in to Manchester.

Coming here during weekday afternoon there’s no queue at all, got the chance to visit their biggest branch before but this time wanted to try different branch. Great service, a really lovely team working hard in ever changing circumstances. The coffee here is second to none and they bake their own artisan bread, which was so delicious and really made the breakfast. I was pleased to see the egg yolk was a lovely orange colour, which says to me they use excellent quality ingredients. I've been to too many places and been served pale yellow eggs and it puts me off as you know they are just the cheapest bulk buy eggs and probably not ethical or sustainable. Will be coming back here a lot in the future, really glad my colleague recommended it.

13/03/24: had mocha with coconut milk and beef sausage & egg on a white bloomer. Sausage was a little bland, but the bread and coffee were very good. Service was friendly and quick. Also had the cheese & onion omelette on brown seeded toast. That was also very good! I would have liked to have seen a full English on the menu. Parking isn't great, made worse by inconsiderate parkers after we'd arrived! Dog friendly, promptly served with water in a Brewdog bowl! Very thoughtful!

This place under promises on the outside and over delivers on the inside. It looks like your average high street cafe, then you step in to a quirky cool place to eat. Service was perfect & food was 5 star, definitely worth the money. I would recommend this place for breakfast we had the Manc Muffins and they are better than a McDonalds one.

Had the Big Yin because I was craving some haggis and needed to fuel up for a big day. Every meat was savory and cooked to perfection. If you're looking for a more well-rounded meal, you may want to get something else as it did end up being quite a bit of meat. The portion sizes are deceptively big for the price, I wasn't even close to getting through it all! The staff was really attentive despite how busy the place was. Would definitely come back to try that Manc Breakfast next time I'm in town.

Probably one of the best cafes within NQ! I’ve been a regular for almost a year and the service never fails to disappoint! The staff are very friendly and attentive. It’s definitely a must-try for anyone looking for something unique yet satisfying. I visited Fig + Sparrow based on the numerous 5* reviews on Google. I came on a Friday at 1pm, and it wasn’t too busy. Perhaps 50% of the place was full. There is a good amount of seating available, and when I arrived, there was a small but delicious-looking selection of pastries and bakes on the counter. There is always a wide variety of drinks available on the menu, and a bar at the back which serves savoury food. I asked the lady if the counter items were baked fresh and if they were vegetarian (halal in my case), and she said they were baked fresh, and suitable for vegetarians and halal foodies! The staff were very inviting. The lady explained what each item was, and she even gave me her personal recommendation. 10/10 for such caring staff :) I ordered a Cinnamon Bun and Latte to eat in. Those buns looked too good to overlook. Also, exceptional presentation of all the bakery items. The Cinnamon Bun was delicious! It was sticky, not too sweet, and full of cinnamon and brown sugar flavour. The Latte was also yummy, and had a lovely pattern on top. Overall, I am very happy I visited Fig + Sparrow, and I will definitely bring my friends next time. This place is too good not to share with others! I would highly recommended this place to those who like coffee shops, and just want to sit and chill :D

This is an unassuming cafe on the grounds of a farm which hosts small boutique shops as well. The first thing that peaks one's interest is the small outdoor court where seating is available aplenty. There is a mini front veranda which leads you inside with seating down and upstairs. The staff were lovely, professional and enacting safe PPE (July 2020). The menu was quite similar to small cafe and eateries. We loved our filled croissants and the Welsh rarebit. It is fair to say that they know how to fill plates! The salads accompanying the croissants were plentiful and wholesome. It was delicious. One minor point might be the quality of the tea, but the coffees and soft drinks were great. a lovely venue for a day out of the house!

Happened upon this little gem of a cafe. Totally blew us away from the moment we walked in. Excellent attentive staff were quick to seat us and explain the menus laid out on the table. Drinks order was quickly served, then food followed smartly. The food was outstanding, beautifully balanced flavours and plenty of it. The bill was surprisingly reasonable too, £19 for two lunches and tow coffees. Our only regret was that we were too full to sample the puddings... Oh well, we'll just have to visit again. Can't recommend highly enough.

Perfect little place for a break out from the city! The cafe, the farm, the little shops are amazing! Had a little lunch, very easy and delicious, that cabbage soup was absolutely amazing, give it a try if is on the menu! Lovely and smiling staff helpful and welcoming! Ready nice cafe & lunch spot. Nestled within a teeny country garden style courtyard with ample indoor seating too. Delicious menu choices, seasonal and to suit all. Recommended by my friend in Manchester, I feel so surprised by such a decent, classic and well-decorated restaurant on the shopping street of the Chlorton area. It is very suitable for those customers who look for a comfortable, warm and not too noisy environment. The customer service and food quality are very good. I highly recommend a double espresso that is strong, intense and creamy. Please note that the food prices seem to be higher than the average in this busy city. Nevertheless, it is still a good choice to gourmet lovers

Would highly recommend. Visited during the January deal 50% and will definitely be back to pay full price. Struggled to get a table as it was so popular, however, despite the popularity the service was excellent. I had the cauliflower steak which is vegan and it was very tasty and filling. Good choice of drinks too.

This was our first visit and we absolutely loved it. First of all what a beautiful building, apparently it was originally a police station, now it is a stunning restaurant. Loved that it felt quite old as you walked in but through the back it opens up and is really light and airy. The menu has something for everyone, not your run of the mill, though there are the staples there like burgers, but some more unusual dishes as well. I had the risotto which was cooked to perfection, one had the duck, another the steak and a burger, everyone enjoyed. We just had room to squeeze a dessert in as well. The place has a lovely feel to it, really nice atmosphere and an excellent background playlist. Service was excellent, we will be back.

Today, I visited a restaurant with an atmosphere that felt refined, elegant, and luxurious. Despite being a high-end venue, they also offered a children’s menu, which I found thoughtful. For my meal, I ordered the Fat Iron steak and a chicken salad. Both dishes were excellent, with the steak cooked to perfection and the salad fresh and flavorful. The service was also impeccable. I had booked a table for 4:45 PM but encountered some traffic on the way, which made me worry that I might not be allowed in due to being late. I arrived just before 5 PM, but fortunately, the staff were understanding and warmly welcomed me in without any issue. Since I arrived early for dinner, the restaurant wasn’t too busy, which added to the relaxing experience. However, as I finished my meal and stepped outside, I noticed that a queue had already formed at the entrance. This shows how popular the place is, and I’d definitely recommend booking in advance. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience, and I’d love to return.
