This is, without a doubt, the BEST place to eat in Marple. The value for money is outstanding. The portion sizes are generous, and the food is always delicious. In addition to this, the staff are all absolutely lovely. They work so hard and make everyone feel welcome; there’s always such a nice, relaxed atmosphere at Butterleys. We’ve visited a few times over the past year, and the service and food are consistently brilliant. Yesterday’s stop-by blew all previous visits out of the water; the homemade veggie lasagne was out of this world! We had a potion each, a cake each, and 3 drinks (a smoothie and x2 hot drinks), and the total cost was less than £35. You’ll struggle to find better quality food and prices in the area.
I recently dined at Butterley’s and was thoroughly impressed! The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional, attentive and friendly. The highlight was the food: we had veggie breakfasts & smoked salmon, which was both delicious and beautifully presented. The quality and flavors truly stood out. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend the Butterley’s.
This is the place for foodies in Marple - I’ve enjoyed eating here so much that this is my third visit this week ! From garden to table, home-made soups, great coffee, to delicious mini cheese and onion pies home made that morning by the owner and served with buttered new potatoes and fabulous home made slaw. Friends and family love it - we’ll be back again and again. Thank you.
We are from out of the area and came to marple for a walk. In need of some lunch stumbled across here and what a find! Amazing menu, chose a really delicious soup and a sandwich and finished off with cake- also amazing. Would come back to Marple just to come here!
Excellent lunch, we had a tuna/lime baked potato and a chicken & bacon panini. Both meals were freshly cooked and perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend this cafe. Having enjoyed an excellent lunch a few weeks ago we decided to call in on Tuesday 17th for breakfast. What a treat, great breakfast menu choice. We had the poached eggs muffin & a small breakfast. Both meals were delicious, quality ingredients cooked to perfection. We will be back soon and definitely recommend this cafe, you will not be disappointed.
