’ve recently completed Beauty and the Blades Microblade to Nanoblade conversion course, and what an incredible course it is! Lauren is a fabulous trainer, attentive, encouraging and constructive with her advice and feedback. This course is intense, I learned so much over the two days, it truly offers great value for money and time. There was plenty of hands on practice on models, and I left feeling confident to undertake ombré and combination nanobrows alone when I returned to my clinic. I also left with a beautiful and comprehensive starter kit which included everything I would need to nanoblade, plus some gorgeous flowers and chocolates. Lauren’s passion and attention to detail shines through and I feel privileged to have been trained by one of this industries leading artists.

I trained with Beauty & the blade for a brow masterlcass on 19/02/2025. I have trained with quite a few providers for beauty services, and I have to say previous training was nothing like the training I received yesterday. Firstly on arrival the greeting was warm and friendly, with a welcoming atmosphere, which when you tend to be a nervous person this makes all the difference. The setting was professional, well thought out and set out ready to go, no rushing. The theory: Before any practical work commenced we went through the theory, with a manual that was detailed and well written, it covered every aspect, from colour theory, to needle choice, pigments, mapping, shading styles etc. Previous training has felt robotic, in that you just read through the manual and that’s it, I felt that Lauren took the time to give detailed explanations on every aspect and answered any questions I had. Really making sure that I had a good understanding before moving on to the next step. I feel coming away from the day on a theory point of view that I gained so much knowledge that was delivered in a clear way:) Lunch: I know this is not the training as such, but lunch was so cute! The effort that Lauren went to was amazing! It was like a fancy afternoon tea. The practical (two models) What I loved about training with Lauren, it really felt like she was helping me, I was not pushed if I didn’t felt comfortable, she would guide me and take the lead if I was struggling. She is extremely patient and knowledgable, it makes all the difference to feel supported. I have learnt so many little tips that I know I will take forward forever in my career from someone who is amazing at what they do. I can’t remember the quote exactly but I read many years ago, learn from people you admire, and that is very true in this case, Lauren’s work is impeccable! It has taken me a long time to be ready to put myself out there, with Lauren’s training I feel ready to start models. Rather than training and leaving me alone, there is an option to ask for help going forward and get feedback on any struggles I may face, that kind of care is invaluable. At the end of the day I was given some goody bags too, which I really appreciated and found super cute and helpful:) On a side note, I have some medical issues, I had to ask Lauren for some help in the middle of the day, she was so understanding and never once made me feel uncomfortable, it’s a really non judgemental environment:) If you are looking for a masterclass, or even starting your training you really are better placed training on a 1-1 basis with an artist who still works in the industry and has work that you can view, especially if like Lauren their work is award winning because you will learn so much more and get actual real tips on how to be a good brow artist. I had the pleasure of working along side Lauren for three days training and I can confidently say that it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. From the very beginning, she demonstrated deep knowledge and expertise in her field of permanent make up. Lauren tailored the workdays to suit my goals and abilities , while constantly pushing me to improve. Her approach is structured but strong, motivating and professional. Whether it was theory , watching Lauren work herself or me actually doing the practical , I always felt challenged yet supported and never overwhelmed as Lauren is always by your side to help. Communication was always clear and professional. She took time to explain each exercise, correct my technique, and answer any questions I had. The course is very intense but enjoyable, well-prepared, and consistently positive, which made the whole experience enjoyable. You can tell Lauren loves what she does and is very passionate regarding it all, even down to the amazing lunches she provides 🥰 In just 3 days, I saw remarkable improvements in my progress, Thanks to Lauren’s guidance, I was able to achieve the confidence to go and do some models on my own. What sets Lauren apart is her unique quality, her passion for helping students succeed, their ability to inspire confidence. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated trainer. , Lauren is someone who will truly guide you every step of the way and stay in touch afterwards providing support. I recently had combo brows done by Lauren at Beauty and the Blade. I couldn't be happier with the results! I had been considering having them done for a long time but it took me ages to pluck up the courage. She was incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel comfortable and confident at all times. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, taking into account my natural hair/skin colourings and also the shade I would usually wear my brow makeup, how often I wear make up etc. The procedure was wasn't as painful as I expected as we used numbing cream and applied more when I felt it was needed. I returned after 6 weeks for my top up and I plan to return again for my colour boost in around a years time. I have already gotten so many compliments and given recommendation as to who did them. I'm so happy with how my eyebrows look now - it's given me a boost in confidence and I feel a lot more comfortable without make up on! I highly recommend Lauren at Beauty and the Blade to anyone who’s considering eyebrow tattooing/PMU. I wish I had got it done a lot sooner!

I took a lip masterclass and combo brow course with Lauren and I’m so glad I did. Lauren is patient, welcoming and explains things in a way which really resígnate - Iv left my course feeling excited to work on my own clients and not scared - Why because I did lots of models in my training and she was there every step of the way explaining what to do, if something wasn't working right we would find a way that worked for me, under her supervision we tried different angles, tattooing standing up, different speeds, methods etc we covered it all. Highly recommend - just book the course
