Amie at The Mill was absolutely brilliant! I booked Amie to do my bridal hair and my four bridesmaids on the morning of our wedding. Amie came to our hotel and from the moment she arrived, we knew we were in great hands. She did a fantastic job on the bridesmaids, tailoring each style to them and making sure they were happy. They are looked amazing and were so happy with their styles on the day (which lasted the full 12 hours!) I couldn’t have been happier with the bridesmaids hair and with mine. I was blown away with the style she managed to create for me. It was perfect and Amie worked so hard across the whole morning to make sure everything was just right. Amie did a fantastic job and can’t thank her enough for making us all feel special on the day.

I’ve been a customer at the Mill for 6 years now so when it came to choosing the stylist for my wedding, there was only one choice really. Amie. In my opinion, The Mill is the best hair salon in Sheffield, the vibe is immaculate, the service five star and the premises are chic and gorgeous. On the run up to my wedding I had 2 trials, but Amie was clear I could have had as many as I wanted. They were both private, personal and bespoke. Amie listened really carefully to my vision for my hair and was really attentive the entire time. I loved my hair so much that day that I welled up. Despite that experience being lovely, the wedding morning was even better. Amie is such a warm, relaxed and kind person, she really fit into the bubbly, happy atmosphere perfectly. She was on time (a 7am start) and did a gorgeous job on all my bridesmaids. The fact she styled their hair without trials or ever meeting them was so professional. It allowed us all to really relax. My wedding hair was pure perfection. Somehow it was even better than the trials and I was over the moon. It looked like me, but the best version of my hair. It stayed perfect all day, it didn’t budge but didn’t feel stiff either. I’ll also say I had extensions in, and these were so secure and seamless I was really happy. The next morning my hair still looked great, which was a miracle considering the shenanigans of the reception. Thank you Amie, I was so happy you had availability on our date, you were the best bridal stylist I could have asked for.

I’ve been going to The Mill pretty much since it opened for my cut and colour (shout out to Catherine 🤍) and knew that when I got married it was Amie and her team that I wanted for my wedding hair, so much so that she was one of the first suppliers I booked! And she was incredible! We had 8 people to get ready the morning of the wedding and Amie (and Amy who joined her for the morning) had everyone ready ahead of the time we’d been aiming for with the most perfect hair. All the girls said how wonderful she was, and how happy they were with their hair - it didn’t move all day and they all felt so comfortable. I had a trial with Amie a few months before the wedding and on the day she completely perfected what I wanted. Not only that, she also took some incredibly special photos and videos of my first look with my Dad and girls that I’ll cherish forever, and none of us even noticed her taking. In the run up to the wedding, my usual hair stylist, Catherine made sure my colour was perfect - she constantly reviewed the trial photos Amie and I had took to make sure that when my hair was pulled back it’d look exactly how I wanted it to. It felt like the glam squad started months in advance and I loved it! I’d truly recommend Amie and the Mill Hair Studio to anyone xxxx

Amie did the hair for me and my wedding party and she was fantastic from start to finish. I had to rearrange my trial appointment and she was so helpful at fitting me in and making sure that I never felt like an inconvenience. She was so calm and friendly on the morning of the wedding that myself and the rest of the wedding party had an excellent morning getting ready. I would recommend Amie for wedding hair services to anyone in the future!
