I use abby silah to get my nails done and can not fault spider... However I found Nicki when she worked at top cut (opposite the old corning pasty shop in the derbion) when she told me she was moving there i was pleased.. I cannot fault Nicki, all I doo is sit in nickis chair and she knows exactly how much I need cutting off my hair and for this exact reason I will never go to anyone else.

Received a wonderful trim and tidy up on Wednesday from the chatty and lovely Simon. It was an amazing conversation we had and my hair looks great now. As we say in Yiddish, no more 'schwitzing' or sweating now. 🤣😅

Altho I live in Sawley I travel to Derby to get my hair done and have done for the past 5 or so years, I found this salon in Derbion called class act, it was a walk in service so ideal for me who decides things on the spur of the moment, anyway they moved out of Derbion just outside near the Ram and were rebranded Abby Sillah hair as Abby is now the owner. They are around average price for a cut and blow dry £25-26 and are now appointment and walk ins. The two stylist I use are Karon or Simon if Karon is away as they both cut my hair how I like it.

Friendly staff. My daughter especially loves getting her hair cut here. They make her feel fantastic.

Fantastic! Paulette has looked after my hair for years now. She comes to our house to cut my husband’s hair and cut and colour mine. I highly recommend Paulette , she listens well and gives advice when asked. She makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Paulette is a friend, not just my hairdresser.

Had my hair cut by Paulette a few times now and I've been so happy with the results everytime. She has given me a ton of great advice and my hair hasn't been in such good condition for years! She has a super cute salon in her garden and is always really accommodating. I highly recommend Hair by Paulette, so glad I found her!

Paulette is an amazing hairdresser and very talented. She is extremely friendly and I always feel relaxed and pampered You would have to go a long way to find a better hairdresser, I can't recommend her highly enough.

Came to have my wedding nails done.First time coming to the salon and it was so relaxed and the atmosphere is lovely; you don’t feel like you have to engage in ‘chitchat’ if you don’t want to. Nelly did an excellent job; she is very attentive to detail and I got exactly what I asked for. Well worth the money I spent. Will definitely be back in the future!

I have been coming to The Strand ever since I moved back to the area 9 years ago. I have really flat, oily hair and so wanted a perm to give me curls and body so I initially saw the owner Rachel (who does perms there). Right from the consultation appointment I knew that I was in the best hands I wouldn’t ever go anywhere else. Rachel and her team are friendly, extremely knowledgeable and always take the time to make me and now my little girl feel really special and looked after. I also now regularly see Nelly based there for my nails who is also excellent and the best nail technician I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t ever trust anyone else now, it’s a home from home and would highly recommend them (as I have done many times). Thank you ladies for continuing to provide such an amazing experience.

Katie at The Strand has cut and coloured my hair for years now and I would absolutely not go anywhere else. She is professional, experienced and so knowledgeable about her trade. Lovely salon with lovely stylists, we had the junior stylist do my 5 year olds hair, her first trip to the salon and she was insanely excited. She was made to feel very special and it was a great experience. Then down stairs for a slice of gorgeous victoria sponge cake. Perfect girl day.

No.10 Derby is absolutely amazing! I've had my hair dyed and cut by them twice now and both times have been wonderful. Staff are really caring. Prices are worthwhile. Hair has come out amazing both times.

I've been coming to The Beauty Boutique for approximately 4 years now and will continue to do so!! Fantastic Manicure & Pedicures. Jo gives the best back massage I've ever had! Lovely friendly welcoming salon where nothing is too much trouble. I take my 87 year old Mum there for her monthly Manicure & she loves it as she is spoken to normally not like some little old lady! I cant recommend Jo & her team enough!

My second visit to this place. The team has been amazing all the time. Felt warm and at home. Sianna who had my hair coloured and styled, has been amazing. She made me feel very comfortable and gave utmost importance to how I felt about my hair colour and style. Visited Holly a few times now and I absolutely love coming to this salon!
