We highly recommend This Green Moon for weddings and events! If there were six (or more) stars we would enthusiastically give a higher rating! We held our wedding at This Green Moon in early May 2024, and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Ash, Paul and the team were incredible from first meeting them through to organising everything on the day. They helped us plan our day, gave really helpful insight and recommendations from their experience at other events, and on the big day made everything run so smoothly there was absolutely nothing to worry about. The whole team made our wedding so special; our friends and family are still talking about how great the venue looked, how friendly the team were and how good an atmosphere there was. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We found This Green Moon by chance when looking for local wedding venues and, it ended up being the only place we saw as we knew it would be perfect. Ash & Paul from the moment we met them and agreed dates were absolutely incredible, making sure every detail was covered for our wedding day. The setting is beautiful but, was made even more special by all the work the team put in on the run up to our wedding and surpassed all our expectations. Every member of the team were amazing and did everything possible to make sure us and our guests had the best time. I could write chapter and verse about This Green Moon and have thanked them endlessly for making our wedding exactly how we wanted it to be.

Visited for a forest full of Christmas magic, absolutely loved it from start to finish! Staff were fab, great food and drinks selection. Magical experience for the kids following the trail and the lady at the craft table was super friendly and lots of fun! Lady and gent supervising fire pit - Marsh mallows and spiced cider were very polite and friendly too! There was live music, mainly Christmas, lots of people up dancing, really lovely. A brilliant start to our festivities, thanks so much x

We had our daughters 6th birthday party and I couldn't recommend it enough. Beautiful setting with staff engaged from start to finish. Kids really enjoyed and had lots of fun. What more could you wish for! Thank you!

We booked Suzy as our venue stylist and we are so glad we did! Suzy is amazingly talented at what she does and managed to transform our somewhat vague ideas into a cohesive and beautiful vision for our venue. Suzy’s passion for her craft is plentiful and I came off every call with her feeling confident and excited for what she was going to create. I was able to completely relax on my wedding morning knowing the venue would look beautiful on my arrival. This in itself was priceless, but on the more practical side of things it was also such a cost and time effective decision as there was no need to source and purchase all our own props for our wedding day. It was also a far more sustainable way to style our wedding as we weren't left with boxes and boxes of wasted items at the end. Booking Suzy was a total no brainer for us and we would 100% recommend her to anyone currently planning a wedding xxx

Working with Suzy was an absolute dream. We planned our destination wedding styling with her from Bermuda. We spoke with her on the phone with a four hour time difference which meant early morning long distance calls to late night conversations squeezing in every detail. Suzy did a wonderful job at bringing our Pinterest board to life. The details and decor were phenomenal and her outstanding communication skills eased every worry that we might have had when planning from afar. She made fantastic recommendations for other suppliers and everything ran smoothly on the day thanks to her. Suzy is personable, easy to talk to and on the big day got to work transforming the space quickly like a magical wizard. Suzy is truly a professional and made sure that the vision we had was executed. As creatives we had high expectations and she far exceeded them. We are so grateful for her hard work and for making our day run smoothly. We will forever cherish her great smile and tenacious attitude towards getting the job done! Where do I even begin? I’d been to a number of weddings where the couple had to set up in the lead up and take it all back down again once the day was done. We just knew that isn’t what I wanted to be doing. We needed calm, no stress and worrying about storage and not to mention the crackers prices for individual purchases of items, storing before the day and where the heck do we put it once the day is over? I saw Suzy’s work on Instagram and immediately knew we would hit it off and quite honestly you were our saving grace in the lead up and the day. It was so bloomin’ lovely to have the decor a secret and to hand over the reigns to someone who knows what they’re doing. We got to see the final product when celebrating and so we’re as awe struck as our guests. We hadn’t a clue how much work goes into planning a wedding and we didn’t even need to make it look nice. Nice doesn’t even cut how beautiful Suzy made our venue; every single person told us how gorgeous it was and were all relieved the next morning when Suzy turned up to take it all down. I emailed numerous times for advice and booked our band as Suzy recommended them; they were amazing and once again you were bang on the money! Suzy; you are worth every penny and more because you were invaluable. Do yourselves a favour and book the stylist package at the very minimum because it makes your venue go from good to fantastic. Not only that but it takes some much needed pressure from your shoulders. We wanted to have everything look amazing but couldn’t quite be bothered to do DIY. Going to ikea the week of the wedding was my worst nightmare so do yourselves a solid and book Suzy!! Suzy, thank you again for everything. Not only is your work beautiful but so are you!

100% recommend!!! We used Suzy @ Mave for both event styling and on-the-day coordination. Having a marquee wedding at home, I knew I would need lots of props to bring my vision together. Suzy was great at listening to my "vibe" and creating the wedding of dreams. I would not have changed a thing!! Organising the wedding myself, I knew I would struggle to trust anyone else to take over on the day itself without a stress, so the on-the-day coordination service was the best solution and totally worth every penny! Had our beautiful wedding at Howsham Hall a month ago and it was the most beautiful day we could ever dream of. The Dine Team was perfect from start to finish. We met Becky when we first visited Howsham Hall in March 2023, we had a tour of Howsham Hall and was blown away by the elegant and well thought out spaces, the MASSIVE bridal suite and the menu choices. What really sold the place for us was the fact that each main part of the day had a separate part of the hall for it meaning we aren't ushered around while hall spaces are being turned over to be used again for another part of the day. After booking we were then passed on to our coordinator and we had wonderful Jenny overlooking the planning of our wedding day. It was a pleasure to have her coordinating, everything was taken care of with attention to detail. We had meetings throughout the months of planning, notes were taken and followed to the tiniest detail. She checked on us throughout the wedding day to make sure everything was okay and we had everything we needed and we felt so looked after! And finally we had Tim taking care of us and our guests on the day of our wedding and morning after. He was so nice and such a calming presence to the day. Nothing was too much trouble and we were so well taken care of. Before our wedding day I would always hear people say - "wedding days never go according to plan and if it doesn't, nobody would notice" but in all honesty everything about our wedding went according to plan and this is thanks to the Dine team. Last but not least, the food was AMAZING and we kept getting compliments on how lovely the venue is and how great the food is! I cannot express how amazing this venue is and how utterly perfect the Dine team are. From start to finish, everything is organised and executed to the utmost perfection. Craig looked after us from the moment we booked all the way through to after our big day. He was fantastic. He directed everyone on the day itself and put our minds totally at ease. We had Dine for our wedding at Sefton Park Palm House on Easter Saturday and they were flawless!! In the lead up to the wedding, Jen had been amazing on emails and zoom calls - always responding promptly to any questions/worries and making sure we were well informed on every little detail of how the day would run. She was a fabulous contact to have and we felt at ease that she could do events like the back of her hand and nothing was too much trouble for her! All of staff on the day were professional, attentive and friendly and we felt like we couldn't have had better! Now the food...wow! We went for the barbecue menu as we wanted a more relaxed vibe and for people to have as much or as little as they wanted. It was unrealllll and we had so many positive comments from our guests about how delicious the food was! Some even went back for thirds! There was a great selection for everyone and they accommodated any dietary requirements with ease. Dine catered our wedding at the Sefton Park Palm House in September of this year and they were magnificent! The care and attention to detail not only on the day itself but for the lead up to the big day was out of this world. Jen made us feel so comfortable even when we had some unexpected changes to make last minute. We couldn't recommend them highly enough!

We hired Sian as our day-of co-ordinator for our wedding, and I am so so glad we did. She was really helpful in the last few weeks leading up to the wedding, helping tie all the details together and acting as a liaison for our other vendors which was really useful. Where Sian really shone was on the day of the wedding - we did a lot of DIY elements (bringing in a lot of our own food, drinks, and decorations) and hired in multiple independent vendors, and so there were a lot of moving parts, things that needed co-ordinating and delegating, and things that needed to happen at specific times and in specific areas. And thanks to Sian, it all went perfectly - every single thing we requested or put on the to do list got done (even last minute additions) and the day just flowed so seamlessly due to all her hard work behind the scenes. I cannot recommend Sian highly enough, she was so friendly and accommodating and we had such a fun and stress-free day all because of her work. Thank you!

We couldn’t recommend Sian more highly! We had a DIY wedding at Kirkstall Abbey and a local pub, and we knew from the early planning stages that we’d need an on-the-day-coordinator. From our initial request and first meeting through to the day itself, Sian was approachable, friendly, super organised and professional. Sian’s coordination package is a cut above the rest as she also offers site visits and takes over supplier correspondence from 6 weeks before - this took a huge weight off our shoulders and allowed us to enjoy the run up. On the day itself, we knew we could relax and enjoy our special day because everything was in Sian’s capable hands. Sian was present when we needed her but working away (very-hard!) in the background, and everything ran smoothly and all the moving parts happened seamlessly. A huge, huge thank you!

When we first met Sian we knew she would be perfect as our wedding coordinator. She was so friendly and reassuring and we instantly knew we were in good hands. Sian took over control of the supplier at the 6 week mark in order to get the schedule together. This was so helpful and really took the pressure off us. We really couldn't have asked for anything more. On the day Sian was amazing and so professional. She kept us on schedule while letting us go with the flow. After we postponed our wedding a year due to covid, I felt a little overwhelmed by resuming our planning and so reached out to Sian for her on the day coordination and some additional help in terms of childcare for our daughter aged nearly 2 on the later evening. Sian was brilliant coordinating the suppliers, it was a blank canvas venue and so we had numerous suppliers to link in with. Sian helped with last minute plans, picked up our props for the day and coordinated the set up. We used Bella Hot Tubs for the first time this weekend. Their responses were really fast, they had their H&S policies bang on and could help with any query I had! The lads who put up the tub and gazebo were super friendly and polite. The hot tub, gazebo and other equipment looked absolutely brand new and they still cleaned everything over!! Absolutely amazing company at an unbeatable price will definitely be booking again, thankyou!!

Jess and her team were amazing, they were friendly and so, so organised. Jess helped make the lead-up to our wedding run seamlessly, which meant we didn’t have all the stress of sorting everything out. As she is a wedding expert, she gave us great tips and advice about how best to set out our day, we wouldn’t have had a clue otherwise! On the day of our wedding, everything ran to time and went perfectly and she was a very calming presence for my husband when he was getting a bit stressed out. It was like a professional production and we could just relax and enjoy ourselves - we even forgot they were there sometimes! We would highly recommended hiring Jess to coordinate your wedding, it’s a no brainer really, you can have an amazing well-put together wedding and no stress!

My husband and I got married in July 2024, and utilised Jess’ on the day wedding coordination package - but what her and her team give you is so so much more than that! We booked a venue which required lots of different suppliers (separate caterer, bar company, linen hire, port-a-loos etc….) and in the run up to it I said to my husband that I really wanted someone I could hand everything over to in advance so I could enjoy the run up and not be worrying about coordinating everything! Luckily, I’d met Jess at an event before we were even engaged and so she was the first person I went to for this help. And I am SO glad we did! She goes above and beyond for you to make sure your day is special and runs smoothly. I’ll never forget that I’d planned to tie the tags onto our favours the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids, only to turn up and for them to have already been done by Jess and her team without even needing to have asked. We had drinks “tokens” to hand out to our evening guests and I went to ask Jess for these in the evening to hand them out, again to find that they’d taken care of it already. They were one step ahead always on the little details, and knowing there was someone we could go to on the day if needed (rather than people coming to me or the wedding party) was truly invaluable. After our wedding I asked my partner what’s the one “non negotiable” you’d recommend to other couples planning a wedding like ours and we both agreed that it would be Jess and her team. I know my sister is also recommending her to friends who are getting married soon too as she was equally impressed by her! Our daughter got married in June 2024 and we were very fortunate to have been recommended Jess by Kate from our marquee company (Special Event Tipis and Marquees). We had got quite far along the DIY planning route when I realised as MOB that I wanted to be able to enjoy the wedding day and the build up to it without being overwhelmed with everything. My husband was quite sceptical at first about why we needed a coordinator as we had everything booked. This was mainly because he hadn't quite grasped what was involved, but after meeting Jess he was onboard 110% and he, like the rest of us, thinks she is fantastic and money well spent. We engaged Jess for her 'on the day management' but this is truly much, much more than just 'on the day' management and is an absolute MUST if you are having a marquee wedding. She is an experienced professional who has a very calm approach to everything. She stepped in 6 weeks before the wedding and from then on we knew we were in safe hands. She gave us much needed advice on a whole host of things and made everything run smoothly. She expertly coordinated with all our suppliers - of which there were many and all of whom were brilliant! She and her team (hello & thank you to the other Jesses) came the day before the wedding and set up the marquee. We went along to give a hand, but she had everything covered. She even had a kettle & made us all a cuppa! They came to the church rehearsal and then went back to the marquee to continue with the set up which enabled me able to spend time with my daughter and our family and friends, stress free, the night before the wedding, which is something which I would not have been able to do without her being onboard. Unfortunately, the weather on the day wasn't great . After glorious sunshine the day before, in true Lake District style, it rained on the day. We were so confident and comfortable with Jess's advice that we trusted her to her to make the last minute decision if the drinks reception would be inside or outside. She, together with Fran from Holker Hall, managed this beautifully and our guests have said that they were quite pleased it rained as it enabled them to have a look around the beautiful Holker Hall. Jess and her team were very professional and at the same time warm and friendly and it genuinely comes across how much they love their work. We had the most fantastic & fun wedding party and all our guests have said that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. I do believe we had the dream team of suppliers.
