Our daughter got married in June 2024 and we were very fortunate to have been recommended Jess by Kate from our marquee company (Special Event Tipis and Marquees). We had got quite far along the DIY planning route when I realised as MOB that I wanted to be able to enjoy the wedding day and the build up to it without being overwhelmed with everything. My husband was quite sceptical at first about why we needed a coordinator as we had everything booked. This was mainly because he hadn't quite grasped what was involved, but after meeting Jess he was onboard 110% and he, like the rest of us, thinks she is fantastic and money well spent. We engaged Jess for her 'on the day management' but this is truly much, much more than just 'on the day' management and is an absolute MUST if you are having a marquee wedding. She is an experienced professional who has a very calm approach to everything. She stepped in 6 weeks before the wedding and from then on we knew we were in safe hands. She gave us much needed advice on a whole host of things and made everything run smoothly. She expertly coordinated with all our suppliers - of which there were many and all of whom were brilliant! She and her team (hello & thank you to the other Jesses) came the day before the wedding and set up the marquee. We went along to give a hand, but she had everything covered. She even had a kettle & made us all a cuppa! They came to the church rehearsal and then went back to the marquee to continue with the set up which enabled me able to spend time with my daughter and our family and friends, stress free, the night before the wedding, which is something which I would not have been able to do without her being onboard. Unfortunately, the weather on the day wasn't great . After glorious sunshine the day before, in true Lake District style, it rained on the day. We were so confident and comfortable with Jess's advice that we trusted her to her to make the last minute decision if the drinks reception would be inside or outside. She, together with Fran from Holker Hall, managed this beautifully and our guests have said that they were quite pleased it rained as it enabled them to have a look around the beautiful Holker Hall. Jess and her team were very professional and at the same time warm and friendly and it genuinely comes across how much they love their work. We had the most fantastic & fun wedding party and all our guests have said that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. I do believe we had the dream team of suppliers. Thank you so much Jess, it wouldn't have happened without you.

As a very indecisive and unorganised couple, we needed help so put our trust in Jess. Choosing Jess as our wedding planner was the best decision we ever made and enabled us to have the wedding of our dreams! Jess is so professional, organised and knowledgeable in every single department and we are so glad we hired Jess so early on in the planning. Jess has a wealth of amazing contacts and was always available to support us through the process. She is extremely hands on and provided a service that was worth every penny. Her and her team were phenomenal on the day and made sure everything went perfectly - she is also just a lovely person to spend time with whilst organising our big day! If you're wondering "do I really need a wedding planner?" the answer is no - you don't need just a wedding planner, YOU NEED JESS! The easiest ever 5 stars. Jess was phenomenal - you will not find a safer pair of hands for the biggest day of your life! BEFORE WEDDING DAY We thought we could do it all but we were so SO wrong. 16mths before our big day we realised that wedding planning is someone's profession for a REASON & opted to find an 'on the day' planner since most of our vendors were already booked. My biggest regret is not getting Jess on board from the outset! We spoke with a number of wedding planners & at the end of back-to-back initial meetings, we didn't even need to discuss who the best fit was - it was obviously Jess. Jess was, of course, kind & congratulatory & immediately easy to get on with, but she was also focused & able to demonstrate her ability to deliver our dream day from the very first moments of meeting her. We knew that she would have everything in hand! Jess was our go to whenever we had a wobble or a question or needed to soundboard something. Nothing was too much & she always responded quickly & with results! She put us at ease every step of the way. The thing with wedding planning is that you don't know what you don't know, & that is where Jess is essential. She won't just people please - she'll give you honest advice/opinions to ensure your day runs smoothly & in line with your vision, & she will quickly identify any issues or gaps & will have solutions before you can even ask! ON THE DAY Knowing Jess was going to be there put us at ease in the lead up. On the day we both said that booking Jess was the best decision we made on MULTIPLE occasions! Nothing was an issue, she had everything under control, & had solutions to any issues without us even knowing there'd been an issue. There was literally not one thing we had to worry about on the day. Ultimately, Jess was both a friendly face on the day putting us at ease & also the most proficient organiser I've ever seen. She took command, made sure everything/everyone was where they needed to be, & did so in the kindest & most professional way without so much as breaking a sweat. She makes EVERYTHING look effortless! By the end of the day, we were devastated that she was leaving after having delivered our dream wedding day which, due to her sheer effort & skill, far exceeded our expectations & frankly blew us out the water. TIPS 1 - Don't book any old wedding planner, BOOK JESS! And do it sooner than later - don't be me, you can't do it all! 2 - If you're having a multi-day wedding, particularly with a pre-party, book Jess! We didn't & when it came to bite me in the backside she was there at the drop of a hat & sorted EVERYTHING out. Massive regret not just booking her from the outset! 3 - Communicate! Jess is incredible but she's not a mind reader, & she got to know us so well so that she could deliver the exact right aesthetic & atmosphere on the day. 4 - Trust Jess implicitly. There is a reason this is her profession. She delivers flawless weddings week in, week out. If you hand over the reins, you will NOT be disappointed! OVERALL Jess is one of the most organised people you will ever meet & you'll rarely have a question that she hasn't already thought of & answered - she goes above & beyond! She is also so incredibly kind & we like to think over the past couple of years has become a real friend, something we are so grateful for. Our day was flawless & it was entirely down to Jess. Booking Jessica Sharpe Weddings was one of our best decisions & if you are lucky enough to book her I know it will be yours too! TO JESS There are no words to actually express our gratitude. You are truly the best in the business & delivered a day that we will never ever forget & we know it would not have been possible without you. Jess and her team were amazing, they were friendly and so, so organised. Jess helped make the lead-up to our wedding run seamlessly, which meant we didn’t have all the stress of sorting everything out. As she is a wedding expert, she gave us great tips and advice about how best to set out our day, we wouldn’t have had a clue otherwise! On the day of our wedding, everything ran to time and went perfectly and she was a very calming presence for my husband when he was getting a bit stressed out. It was like a professional production and we could just relax and enjoy ourselves - we even forgot they were there sometimes! We would highly recommended hiring Jess to coordinate your wedding, it’s a no brainer really, you can have an amazing well-put together wedding and no stress!

Absolutley Fantasic. Did the Dressing for our wedding, and the photography from start to finish including photo booth too. My daughter was invited to a pamper party at Samantha’s, the girls there were so welcoming and super friendly with such a beautiful set up for the children, I would definitely recommend for a pamper party! Was an amazing experience overall.

Where do i start ...... Sam did our wedding in August, and nothing was too much. The room looked stunning, the photos was great, and her time and effort was second to none. We have also had numerous family shoots done, which have again been fab!!! More recently we had my little girls 8th Birthday Party @ Sams Studio in sowerby bridge.... Where to start with Silly Sam. My girls adore you. We always get the most amazing photos whatever the girls mood. From birthday pamper parties to balloons and photos, we would never go anywhere else. Even my own confusions and giving the wrong delivery date, you still sorted my daughters balloons within an hour. You will always be the best crazy balloon lady in halifax ❤️❤️

Jessica and create a look were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. From the minute we made contact with Jessica, she made us feel at ease and helped us decide our theme/decor for the wedding breakfast room. We used Create a Look for our wedding in May - Really friendly service, Jessica was really helpful when we were choosing decorations/colours etc., and everything was set up the day before our wedding so we didn't have to worry about it! We asked Jess to provide table centrepieces for our Emerald Ball in November. She provided a fantastic service, replied swiftly to any questions and had some great suggestions. The final look on the night and service on the day of set up was amazing. The centrepieces pulled the venue together, perfectly matching the theme. We couldn't recommend Jess enough and will certainly be using Create a Look again in the future.

We were very, very lucky to book the charming Andy Cox and his stunning, yellow 1968 Mustang convertible, through this excellent wedding car hire company. The owners of Ford Mustang Wedding couldn't have been more helpful, communicative and lovely! They even asked Andy to reschedule the paint job he'd already planned so that it could be done before our wedding on Friday 2nd June, and so he could make our date. We are so grateful! Andy is a brilliant driver and his car is stunning. The yellow was perfect for our colourful, sunny celebration and it was so wonderful for us to be chauffeured in style to our reception venue, in a love bubble. It was just for us and it was heavenly. Highly recommended. Treat yourselves.

So pleased I surprised my husband with this gorgeous car on our wedding day - it reminded us of happy times of a road trip across America! The car itself is absolutely stunning and I was in awe of it - my only regret is not having enough time to go for a ride in it and spend more time admiring it because of time constraints on the day! Chris came roaring up the drive in it and was quite the entrance - we all loved it and people loved taking pics of it and asking Chris about it. Chris was lovely too, couldn’t recommend him enough…thank you for being a part of our special day!

04.08.2024 : Booking was so easy all done via email forms were easy to follow along with payment instructions. We'd highly recommend booking any car through Ford Mustang, Sam dealt with any queries or concerns you may have promptly and efficiently. James the car owner arrived early to pick us up he was extremely laid back and very approachable. The car was immaculate. The drive to the venue was amazing we were certainly noticed along the way. Wow! What can I say about the team at Wedding Fayres Yorkshire? I don't actually see these people as business associates but more of friends. All of the suppliers are like a little family and it's all due to how fantastic WFY are. The wedding fayres are brilliant, really well organised, marketed well so they get the numbers in and fabulous quality of suppliers. The fayres run smoothly from the moment you arrive there's usually a member of the team there to help you with your stuff (mainly for the diva's) so I look after myself. They know exactly where you are exhibiting and are always on hand from the start of the day until the finish. From the second you hear Stevie Wonder play you know you're in for a good day. Wedding Fayres Yorkshire go much further than weddings. They always are there to advise and help all their customers. I really enjoy the Grant and Allan weekly catch up meeting on Facebook live, which just gives an update of everything that's happening, it's great to always be involved. During the lockdown they have also been doing a weekly Friday night's quiz which is brilliant! It's amazing support for those wedding industry professionals who need it during hard times. All I can say is Wedding Fayres Yorkshire are FAB!

Went for Christmas party. Very fancy place with bar area and upstairs dining area. Limited options for vegetarians but the salad was delicious. The lemon raspberry cheesecake was to die for, the ragu was ok. The music and host were lovely and the staff was very sweet and helpful. Enjoyed it, also has good parking!

First I would like to say a very big THANK YOU to all the staff at Bertie’s. The venue was perfect, 80 people attended my wife’s celebration of life. The staff at Bertie’s couldn’t have been more helpful, Katie, (the manager)was wonderful, her organisation of the event was first class. The chef did me very proud, a perfect selection of hot and cold food, with a desert and Cheese board. Also Bertie’s supplied tea and coffee. I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting a FIRST CLASS venue!

I organised my mums surprise 50th birthday celebration here and it went perfect. The venue is beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the crystal ballroom and it was great, we also hired the food and dj with the Berties and they did a fantastic job too. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience, my mum absolutely loved it. X
