Odo’s Barn is a stunning age-old barn set in the heart of a sleepy village in Ashford. The Venue and Team were faultless. Odo’s Barn (a family owned Venue) managed by Charlotte meant that we received the very attention to detail you need when planning and organising a wedding. Being our ‘first time’ Charlotte was warm, welcoming and ever so accommodating. From visiting in 2023 to booking our wedding for September 2024 she and her team was simply ‘Perfect’. Odo’s Barn has a fantastic website (for vendor ideas / suggestions) through to a great point of reference for guests to use when planning on accommodation/cabs nearby.

The venue is unashamedly original and under-stated with incredible pieces of furniture, lighting against a backdrop of wine bottles giving it an incredibly cosy feel.

The outside area / terrace along with the meadow allowed our 150 guests to mingle without feeling packed into one space.

Her team were professional and attentive whilst still giving an informal feel plus their wine and drinks selection were impeccable and they were also able to source some specific English Sparkling Wines and Beer.

I’d happily carry on talking about how amazing a venue Odo’s Barn is however a huge factor to the success of our wedding was in-fact Charlotte who we considered an integral part of our ‘special day’.

So thank-YOU Charlotte in creating what was the best day of our lives so far.

A seriously excellent venue and brilliant team, Odo's Barn has surpassed our expectations and delivered a day better than we could ever have hoped for. Charlotte works meticulously hard on every detail, and was wonderful to consult with throughout the whole process. We weren't too sure what we were doing when planning our wedding ourselves, we were a bit nervous and didn't have a 100-page ring binder with a perfect plan ready to go, and needed quite a bit of help and guidance with our relatively bare-bones plan. But she had endless time and patience for all our annoying and silly questions, and was more than happy to steer us in the right direction, recommending experienced suppliers who have worked the venue plenty of times before, and suggested changes which we never would've thought of ourselves. A huge number of questions and queries from us in the months leading up to the day were answered quickly and kindly, putting any anxiety to rest, and the lead up to the day and day-before setup was super professional, with all staff more than willing to be an enthusiastic and hard working pair of hands, while offering advice and suggestions when asked.

A truly gorgeous venue that massively wowed everyone on the day, and provided a perfect location for our incredible day - a relaxed and fun festival themed wedding. We absolutely had to have a big noisy rock band, which was a first for the venue, and there were concerns over the acoustics and the 95db sound limiter, but Charlotte made sure it would all work out, and they have a great system which ensured it sounded absolutely amazing. The high ceilings and rustic wooden interior actually sounded incredible with no distortion, reverb, or echo, and the clear visual traffic light system worked fantastically to ensure that there wasn't excessive noise pollution for neighbours.

The staff were also fantastic at keeping the venue looking great throughout the day too, never leaving rubbish or empty glasses out for too long, and adjusting the room to suit the proceedings wonderfully. Last minute requests and tasks were handled incredibly well, and helped the day to go perfectly. Staff were super friendly and lovely to all guests, recorded clips of special moments for our video compilation, and were on the dance floor enjoying themselves towards the end of the night, which was delightful to see. An unexpected surprise upon returning the day after was all decorations and extras that were left behind had been tidied up and boxed up for us, making a potentially arduous task with a hangover very light work!

Absolutely 10/10 in every aspect imaginable - a beautiful venue as it comes without needing any extras, incredible value for money, wonderful staff, and truly a perfect setting that made the best day of our lives absolutely heavenly. Thank you so so much Charlotte, Immy, Pav, Mia, Freya, and Mimi for making the best day of our lives even better than we could have imagined, we'll never forget you!

My husband and I got married here last month and it was just perfect.

Charlotte made the whole process easy, from first viewing the barn, to booking our date, to advising us on suppliers, ensuring we had all the right cutlery and tableware and making sure everything ran smoothly on the day. Charlotte thinks of everything, and was everywhere at once ensuring all our guests had a wonderful time.

We got married in the church next door and ambled across the meadow to Odo’s. The barn made a beautiful reception venue and our guests enjoyed playing croquet on the lawn and toasting marshmallows by the fire in the evening. The meadow with its expansive views across the Romney marsh made a magical setting for our barn dance and we finished off the evening with a disco in the barn.

Overall Odo’s barn is a versatile, stunning and extremely well-run wedding venue. Thank you so much Charlotte for giving us the most perfect wedding day. A 5 star review doesn’t really do you justice!

Odo's Barn was the first and only venue we viewed - we decided there and then that this was where we wanted to marry. The Barn, the gardens, the moat and the views are all just so beautiful!
Charlotte was a joy to deal with right from the start, from her amazing list of preferred suppliers to being full of great advice and knowledge during the wedding planning stage, and was always available to answer any questions we had.
The big day itself was absolutely perfect. The Barn looked incredible, and Charlotte and her team all worked their socks off to make sure ourselves and our guests were looked after and that the day ran smoothly.
We will treasure the memories of our amazing day at Odo's Barn forever, and it was worth every single penny. We're already wishing we could do it all over again!

Where to start with this amazing venue? From the moment we walked into Odo's Barn we knew this was where we were going to get married. The barn itself is strikingly beautiful, its rustic look flooded with natural light and lit up with beautiful twinkling fairy lights – we fell in love.

Odo's is surrounded by a large amount of outdoor space with plenty of places for guests to sit and chill and mingle with one another and for suppliers to set up - a large patio with quirky sofas and chairs, a huge courtyard with wooden tables and a giant swing and the long meadow overlooking the surrounding countryside.

With two options of locations to get married inside and out – we opted to get married in the meadow which was simply stunning with plenty of picturesque places for photos opportunities.

Access to the barn the day before and after was also a real benefit. Having piece of mind setting up everything up the way we wanted, whilst also being able to enjoy a picnic with nearest and dearest in the meadow building up the excitement of the next day.

Charlotte, your passion for your business and love for weddings shines throughout all your guidance in the planning process but also your support on the day. You took away all the stress of wedding planning helping us with each step; recommending suppliers, supporting with decorations, regular catch ups allowing us to visit whenever we wanted to, organising the wedding party and generally being there for us with anything we needed.

My words cannot recommend and thank Charlotte, the team and the barn enough - so make sure you view and consider the barn as your future wedding location! Our day was everything we envisioned and more – I will always hold the memories made at Odo's close to my heart!
