We were recommended The Stapleton Arms by the owners of an AirBnB we were staying in. We had the Sunday roast and it was the best we've had out in a very long time. Good portions, homemade and delicious! Chicken supreme was tasty with thyme and apricot stuffing and the beef was beautifully rare, with a good sized bowl of mixed steamed veg to share. Creme Brûlée with melt in the mouth shortbread and homemade raspberry sorbet was amazing, as were the scoops of honeycomb and rocky road ice cream! Compliments to the chef and kitchen team. Couldn't fault anything! The young staff were on point and friendly, polite and helpful, and the owner was charming. Wish all pubs were like the Stapleton Arms!
First time at this pub, and it was superb. Great quiet village location. The drink selection was great, and seriously, the food was some of the best I've ever had! Will definitely be back
