An amazing hospital blaise referrals they nursed my little dog Isobel back to Health again can’t believe how she is today. She’s back to normal. Great Team! Ela and Lauren looked after my boy Finnley when he came in for his heart scan recently! All the information was presented during the appointment & amazing discharge information too, explaining his condition in great detail! He is doing really well on his medication ❤️

So we got to Blaise after a panicked phone call at 4am yesterday and have had nothing but superb service from every person we’ve spoken to, from the vets to the reception staff (thank you for putting my mind at ease, Chelsea). I never expected my 6 month old kitten to need a neurologist but I’ve been so happy with Marios. He let me ask as many questions as I needed to put my mind at ease, and now my baby is back home with his brother. However I was told that he would be sleepy… but my Cannoli is running through the house faster than ever (phew). Thank you so so much also to everyone whose name I haven’t remembered in my panicked 4am state. I can’t praise Blaise highly enough. We arrived, distraught, having travelled from Leicester in rush hour traffic, on a boiling hot evening, with our lovely cat Dusty who appeared to be dying, only to find that Blaise weren’t expecting us and knew nothing of Dusty’s predicament. The staff were superb; unbelievably our local vets had sent me to Blaise at Birmingham but had actually made the referral appointment at another hospital in Derby! The receptionists and a nurse that happened to pass the desk, immediately took charge and got to the bottom of the mix-up, they were all extremely reassuring and empathetic whilst doing so, dispelling my fears that we would be turned away. Dusty was admitted, and shortly afterwards we saw Pablo, who very kindly, clearly and thoroughly explained the results of his initial assessment and how they would proceed the next day. We left, and within a couple of hours I received a call from another member of staff updating me and offering further reassurance that Dusty was settled and under close observation. First thing the following morning I had the first of several telephone calls from the exceptional Camilla Piazza, who took enormous care to answer all my questions and make sure that I fully understood Dusty’s condition and it’s probable origin and implications, and at last I felt that he was in the expert hands that we all want when our pets are sick. I’m happy to report that several weeks on, Dusty is doing well. I’m extremely grateful to all the staff at Blaise, because our situation improved dramatically once we were under their care, rather than being bounced endlessly around at our vets, but my deepest gratitude is to Camilla, whose patience and calm, kind, professionalism far surpass that of any vet I have previously encountered.

We had a difficult situation with our dog Bertie, who suffered a dislocated shoulder. We met Vas who was simply amazing! He took Bertie under his wing and made him well again. We all are so grateful! Blaise is such a fantastic place, all staff amazing and nothing is too much trouble. A special thanks to Pablo who kept us updated all night after his operation. So much dedication shown by everyone. We would thoroughly recommend Blaise to anyone looking for amazing care for their pets. For us, its been life changing!
