I cannot recommend Berkshire Vets enough. Parking easy & spacious on the doorstep. Wonderful atmosphere & friendly staff all round. Excellent clean roomy premises. Lovely kind caring vets. My dogs have a waggy tail leading the way in. My whippet was so relaxed & happy even after her procedure. Lovely Lovely place all round with dogs in safe hands.

My pups and I have recently joined Berkshire vets after hearing great reviews and I couldn’t be more pleased. It was lovely to have a tour of the facilities and a meet and great with the vets, this created a positive experience as my pups are not big fans of the vets. Today one of my pups had a dental procedure, the drop off was relaxed, followed by a chat with the vet to discuss the procedure. After a few hours I received a personal call from the vet with an update and arranged a suitable pick up time. My pup recovered quickly and left wagging his tail… thank you Berkshire vets for a positive first experience.

Archie joined The Berkshire Vet shortly after adoption and he is very pleased indeed with the care and attention he receives therein. Today he had a minor operation, before and after which we were kept fully informed of his condition and progress. Our previous two dogs were cared for by another local vet, but it was gobbled up by a management group; we are just so pleased we have a fully independent veterinary service on the doorstep … and such a friendly and professional one as well.

I have taken our kitten twice to The Berkshire Vet and I have nothing but praise for the Practice. Everybody from the receptionists to the nurses to the Vets themselves have all been absolutely amazing, not only polite and helpful to me but so caring and friendly to our kitten Betty. The building is immaculate inside and out and has been beautifully laid out with great thought given to the comfort of Pets and their owners. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending people to take their pets here,

Absolutely brilliant service from the team. Recently moved to the area and Buddy our Jack Russell who’s 13 years old was due his jabs. Previous experience at old vets was always an apprehensive experience for both Buddy and myself, and had got to the stage of us having to muzzle Buddy, so was anxious about today but what a difference it was. No muzzle needed. Buddy was greeted by staff, both Buddy & myself felt at ease and he was given time to check the room out and then jabs done with no fuss. Thank you all so much.

We have an almost 2 year old American Bulldog Gus, who has just had TPLO surgery, I cannot praise Anderson Moores enough for their service, from the initial consultation with Maria who spent nearly an hour explaining what she surgery entailed, how she would do it and the recovery process we were instantly put at ease, she was clear, concise and above all kind, the professionalism, empathy and kindness shown to us and Gus throughout has been amazing. Juan Carlos too has been amazing, nothing is too much trouble. We are in the recovery process now, and is a long road ahead but feel we are In the best hands, at no time have we been made to feel a nuisance with the endless worries and questions we've posed, top notch service, top notch vets, admin team and nurses. A great practice 👌

My pet was recently referred to Anderson Moores and had emergency and will have on-going treatment there. It’s really hard to entrust him to people I’ve only met once (even if they are fully qualified vets and the best possible people to help him)! But the care and treatment he received was speedy and so caring. All staff have been fantastic with me too. Great care taken to explain things to me. Importantly to me, the liaison with my local veterinary practice has been brilliant so I can be sure my pet continues to get the best possible care from both practices and everyone has current notes. The atmosphere at Anderson Moores is very calm, a massive help at a time of distress.

Our Westie, Pixie, underwent TPLO (on both legs) surgery in March. It was traumatic for her and us, but with Anderson Moores' skills and care, we could not thank the Team enough, especially that of her Consultant, Kate Holroyd. I transferred to this vet around 4 or 5 years ago during a very stressful time with my cat (he was very sick) after I wasn't fully satisfied with the care at my previous vets. Honestly, it was one of the hardest years of my life, and they truly did all they could to help and support both my darling Finnian and myself. Sadly, I did lose him to an unknown illness, but I will always owe that extra year I got with him to this amazing group of people. He had to be put down in the early hours of the morning during lockdown and saying goodbye to him in the car park knowing how scared he must have been was the absolute worst thing but I know he was so loved and cared for by the team until the very end. I can not thank the everyone at Donnigton and Eastcot vets enough. I will continually proudly take all my pets to them, knowing they will always get the best care. You should all be very proud of what you are achieving, simply outstanding.

Great experience at Falklands Vets yesterday. Buster Boys first visit since he was registered after moving from another vet in Newbury that has gone down hill. The young vet that treated him was so very kind and patient with him, he is petrified of the vets, and she did such a good job. He is home now and recovering 😊 The reception team were great too. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic. Found a stray cat which had a nasty cut on it's back,took it to Falkland,it wasn't micro chipped so they examined and treated the cat at there own time and expence and kept him in until cat's protection could pick him up, wonderful, wouldn't even expect a contribution from my wife and I towards his care.all the staff from receptionists to the nurses we're amazing and friendly, cannot fault this vets

Vets4Pets Newbury. This vets is amazing! They are always available and on hand to support with my cats. They are supportive, understanding and empathetic. They treated my cat Molly and have her the attention she wanted and needed after teeth extractions. They kept me up to date and even sent me an after op photo. Highly recommended.

Vets4Pets in Newbury have always been fabulous with our pets. We've had rabbits and now a dog. The dog recently had to have an operation and they were brilliant from start to finish and made the whole insurance claim process easy and seamless. Natasha, the vet who treated him, is always lovely and brilliant with him. He still loves going there to see them all! The receptionists are always friendly, helpful and welcoming, and they always makes a big old fuss of my dog which he loves.

Got both our girls neutered here and they did an absolutely amazing job. My frenchie had a c section scar and hernia from previous and when they did her spay they fixed it all, looks better than ever barely visible. My frug got her neuter about 2 weeks ago and her scar is pristine. Really great care and vet surgeons here - some people think clinics are just scamming owners for added costs, but little is understood how much it costs to actually run a practise, all the equipment and staff that are needed and used to accommodate all our beloved pets health. The staff at this clinic have taken the time to get to know all 4 of our dogs individually and we have a great rapport with nurses, assistants and the vets’. Wouldn’t go elsewhere as we feel so secure here. Thank you Newbury South staff :) Daisy and Christian

GKG vets was recommended by someone. Wish we had known about them when we had our first dog. Our second dog had to have an operation to her knee when she was about 8 months old. She is just over 2 years old now. And running around like a crazy dog thanks to the vets at GKG veterinary. Would not go anywhere else 10/10 thank you 🙂

Our little sausage dog Freddy suddenly became very ill and contacted our amazing vets who were amazing. Even though they were super busy with it being Easter weekend they fitted us in and Freddy always feels at ease with our vet compared to our previous vet freddy used to visit. Freddy was given 5 star treatment by all the staff from reception to main vet even given a lovely fresh chicken meal once Freddy began to feel better and was pampered by all the staff. So welcoming for both pets and all the family who came to pick Freddy up once better.

Update Nov 2023 very much the same, still caring. Very busy this Friday morning 12/4 & things seem to be getting very expensive

Very friendly service and always on time. The nurses and vets treat all animals the same from my rats to my kitten. It's better than the vets I last had with my cat years ago. But shame not one closer to basingstoke town centre as its quite a way to go but still worth it.

Staff are so friendly and helpful. Took my girl in for a day yesterday and they were all reassuring and the information provided when we collected her was super helpful. Her cut was small and neat. Have used this branch for 15 yrs and would never go anywhere else. The only downside is a month after my dogs spay, I got a message saying I owed them money for additional tablets they issued at the operation day, I have paid it, but it was their error as they forgot to add it to the invoice! So be aware of your bill so as not to fall fowl of their errors.

I have very recently attended this vets at opposite ends of dog lives, when my chihuahua needed to be pts and vet checks and injections for a litter of sausage dog puppies and the treatment I received was second to none. The respect and time needed to say my goodbyes to my much loved old girl was second to none and I received a lovely card and forget me not seeds which have been scattered around her grave. Also 5 puppies that were noisy had the utmost attention and not a single sound from them during the actual injection! Thank you

The vets at GP are professional and friendly. My cat had a very bad leg, and I was grateful that she was able to see her usual vet quickly. He examined her, took an x-ray, and understood and treated the problem the same day. She's much better now thanks to GP. Her insurance claim was sorted efficiently too.
