We went to here with our dog as she wasn't eating. We seen Angelica the vet who was wonderful with our little dog gave our dog a injection and medication. Could see our dog liked her. This isn't the first time here with our dog over the years would highly recommend this place for your dog so caring people here and they want the best for your pet.

I wish I could leave more than 5 stars. We brought our lovely 16 year old girl Poppy here after deliberating and dreading having to have her put to sleep. I spoke to James the vet who was really reassuring on the phone. Once we got there Pops perked up (as she loved the shop) James said it was up to us whether to go ahead. He said to take our time and that he'd wait absolutely as long as we needed. He gave us advice when we asked for it and told us reasons why it was likely she was in pain with arthritis etc. even though she didn't make any sounds or fuss. He gave Poppy the box of treats to help herself to and I decided that as she was actually happy and not in major distress- it was the kindest time for her. James was incredibly kind - He put the canula in her leg then let us take her round the shop for one last happy trip (off the lead and everything as she couldn't really run off) when she finally went to sleep she was still munching on treats and we were cuddling her and saying love and thanks to her. James left us for as long as we needed and then covered her in a lovely blanket. Following on from this - when I collected Pop's ashes and even later when I had to deal with insurance etc. all the staff (particularly Samantha) were so kind, thoughtful and efficient. Not to mention the handwritten card and packet of forget-me-not seeds. I hope I have remembered everyone's names right. I cannot rate our experience of this practice highly enough. Thank you xx

I must say that our experience with Vets4Pets has been quite wonderful. We took our boy Jarvis the cat there for three separate medical conditions over a short space of time and the care he received was first class. He received the very best veterinary care and whole process was wonderful and heartwarming. I also want to thank the staff working reception. They are warm and friendly and it really helped us to cope at a fraught and terribly worrying time. You’re all incredibly wonderful at what you do. Keep up the good work and thank you so very much!!!!

Can't praise the staff enough. From the welcome of the receptionists to the consultation. I have a stressed dog who needed professional handing whilst having bloods and a check up. The staff were calm, reassuring and knew how to handle him to reduce his anxiety as much as possible. I have nothing but praise and admiration for all the staff (especially the poor nurse and vet that I saw!). I have been using this practice for many, many years and have always found them experts in their field. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thank you

Received a wonderful service from initial phone call, reception personnel and the veterinary consultation considering we called at very short notice. So grateful for advice and medication to help a poorly doggy. Thank you to all who were there Saturday morning

Used for the first time in emergency, extremely knowledgeable vet, surgery and stitches extremely neat, dog recovered extremely well from anesthetic honestly can not fault anything, fantastic service

I would like to thank all the people who helped my beautiful betsy get her wings its 3 moths since she passed over the rainbow and it still hurts but the ladies were absolutley brilliant with her and passed away with dignity also they were very very helpful with the after care so thanks ladies a credit to your job from andy and betsy xx

Absolutely amazing service. When I called to explain how poorly our little Harry was the young lady fitted me in in-between appointments. Martin the Vet was superb, he explained in great detail what the situation was and was very real, his advice and treatment SAVED OUR HARRY’S LIFE, we will be forever grateful for your time, advice, treatment and understanding, you helped us make the right decision, i can’t thank you enough. Within an hour Harry was fighting fit, 24 hours later he is back to his normal self. Bonny even took time out the next day to call and make sure everything was ok, excellent service all round from start to finish. We have been with Mount Rd Vets for years and would highly recommend. Called into the vets with my dog very worried I was welcomed with a smile. Didnt wait long and was brought through by the vet who straight away made me feel at ease and loose my fear. She handled my baby with care and treated her and fingers crossed it’s like a miracle has happened. Thank you so much highly recommend fantastic vets.

Our dog spent 3 nights at Woodcroft recovering from surgery and acute pancreatitis. The staff here are wonderful. Everyone we spoke to both in person and over the phone was kind, empathetic and patient. The care our dog recieved was first class and we recieved regular communication about his condition, which was very reassuring during a stressful time. Thank you so much for you all your hard work.

After moving house and changing vets they found a heart murmur which needed immediate treatment. We were referred to Woodcroft for this, I was concerned after reading some of the negative reviews on Google but I needn’t have been. Our appointment was with Zuzi and she explained everything in detail and took excellent care of teddy. She rang with updates and has stayed in touch to see how he is getting on. Excellent service and would recommend. Yes it’s very expensive but that’s the same across the board for most veterinary services.

Had an emergency with our Cocker Spaniel Bella last night, (22nd December) she was chocking on a chewy stick. In the car we thought we were losing her. I cannot tell you the panic we had. We were met with 3 lovely, calm members of staff who saw to Bella immediately and knew exactly what to do. Within a few minutes Bella was back to her normal, happy self. I cannot praise or thank the staff enough for saving our girl . Our family, including Bella wish you all a wonderful Christmas. 🐾🐾❤️

I have had to bring two of my dogs here for specialist treatment and the care and compassion from everyone was amazing. Alex is doing a great job of looking after our dog Maisy. I know she has her best interests at heart and will help her as much as she can. It’s so reassuring when your pet is unwell that there are people who will go above and beyond to help them. Had to take my fur baby less than a week ago to be told my baby's has cancer and it was touch and go of she would survive but the wonderful vets here saved her life and she recovering so well I can't thank you all enough you are my hero's ❤️

Got a quote from Vets4pets to have my Dog Poppy's teeth cleaned and 2 teeth removed quoting just under £1000 😲 contacted John at Abbywood vets and after a consultation and then returning a few days later to have her teeth cleaned and 2 teeth removed only charged, £540. He was so professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him.

John was so helpful, was able to see my dog really quickly who was struggling with anal gland issues and my registered vet was closed despite saying open online. Reasonably priced too which was a shock for a vets! Will 100% contact John before my own vets going forward in case he can help.

John is very diligent and apply fair prices in the context of overcharging being a common practice unfortunately… I have moved away but still travels to Abbeywood Vets for emergencies, rather than going to an unknown corporate hospital my new vet is recommending. John knows my dog and is always there when need be. He has the pet’s interest in mind. Really recommend his services.
