We have always been impressed with the care shown by the team at Chorley Vets to all our pets over the years. They are all such warm and caring people who seem to love what they do. My dog had to stay in for the day and I had regular updates on his progress which was really reassuring. I could tell he had cuddles to reassure him too, as I could smell lovely perfume on him when I took him home later that evening. It was also his first birthday which I didn't mention but they spotted and even gave him a birthday card. Although all the team are lovely, I have to mention Jess and Sam on reception who I feel are exceptional. Thank you all.

Lovely family business, fantastic personal service. Our poor rabbit Shadow was in a bad way (cancer) unfortunately had to be put to sleep. The staff were absolutely amazing. I would like to give a special thank you to Sam on reception and Louise the Head Veterinary surgeon who were very knowledgeable and understanding helping my daughter come to terms with what had to be done. Lovely people.

Chorley vets were amazing with the support when I unfortunately had to have my pygmy hedgehog PTS. Not many vets have much knowledge on this species but I highly recommend these guys. Very confident in handling him and honest and knowledgeable. Very sympathetic when the time came and got his ashes back quickly. Thank you.

I cannot recommend Chorley Vets enough. We recently took my son’s frog there, and the care and attention they provided were fantastic. They were thorough, professional, and compassionate, and even sent a follow-up letter to check if everything was okay. This thoughtful touch really stood out to us. Shortly after, my daughter had to take her very ill guinea pig to them. The staff acted immediately and took him straight in. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, we sadly lost him. The team was incredibly supportive and empathetic throughout such a difficult time, and their kindness meant so much to us. The staff at Chorley Vets are truly amazing—caring, attentive, and so thoughtful. They go above and beyond for both the animals and their owners. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding veterinary care.

Two recent visits to Chorley Vets. One for advice regarding my Miniature Schnauzers health and secondly, unfortunately to put her to rest. On both occasions we were both treated with empathy and respect. All the staff went out of their way to make me feel better, especially the wonderful vet David. I was given some lovely pawprints & a lock of her fur in a keepsake bottle. I have no hesitation recommending Chorley Vets.
