Wilson’s have performed a number of projects at our Grade One listed property in Calderdale. Firstly the repairs and replacements on a large and complex flagstone roof which dates back to the 15th century. The repairs were diligent, sympathetic and to a high quality and with excellent communication throughout. Inside the house, they have recently completed a turnkey bathroom renovation. Again, their work was to the very highest standards and with the property simultaneously being let for AirBnB it was done discretely and with little to no disturbance to our guests. I would highly recommend their work to anyone.

Highly recommend this company. From first contact they were responsive and their representative who called to assess the job, Terry, came across as knowledgeable and honest - so much so that I cancelled the other companies I'd asked to quote and went with this one right away. They then kept good communication, turned up when they said they would, did the job they said they would do, and did it for the price quoted. Their guys on site were pleasant, diligent and tidy. Their office contact Ruth was a pleasure to communicate with. Even the scaffold company they used were friendly, tidy workers and easy to discuss things with. After having issues with previous builders, I can't tell you what a relief it was to work with a company that kept to schedule, kept to cost and did a great job. Very happy customers!

I called Michael Wilson and Son on Wednesday afternoon, after noticing my drainpipe and gutter had been damaged with the recent weather. I received a call from Zac within 30 mins to confirm the enquiry, and to let me know that someone from the company would be with me 8:30 Monday morning to give me a quote for the work. At 8:20 on Monday, Chris and Finley arrived, and by 9:15 had completed the work! Amazing! I couldnt beleive they had not only finished the work but the quality of it was brilliant. Can't recommend Ben highly enough. We were left with real problems after a previous roofer ditched mid job and left us with a leaking roof. Ben came out incredibly quickly and gave us a full quote and got the work completed in record time...for cheaper than the quote! The roofers cleared up as they went so everything was left clean and tidy. Very impressed.

Rang Dennis for a quote to repair a dormer roof. The leak turned out to be more extensive than first thought. Dennis and his team were thoroughly professional, clean and courteous and kept us well informed throughout the job, including working in minus temperatures. Completed a fantastic job for us and would not hesitate in using them again, or recommending them to other people.

Absolutely fantastic, I called Simpson Denis Roofing Services on a Monday because I had a leak in my roof, he eased my nerves and told me somebody would be with me in a couple of days, on Thursday and gave a time of 09:00. As we had heavy rain, water actually started to appear on my ceiling, I called Denis first thing the next morning (Tuesday) and I was absolutely frantic with panic. He got one of his lads out that same morning to come have a look, and then within the next hour they were here with Ladders, sorted the hole in my roof. Couldn't ask for a better experience, good honest workmenship, would absolutely recommend.

Really impressed with all aspects of the service and work provided by Simpson Dennis. They responded promptly to our original enquiry and Matthew came round the next day and did a thorough inspection to locate the cause of the leak. A reasonably priced and fully itemised estimate arrived a couple of days later. We were able to sort out a convenient date and even when this was delayed because of weather we were constantly kept informed. Matthew came out to do a survey on our roof following numerous leaks in the upstairs of our property. We quickly received a full report with photographs and decided to have a full new roof installation. We couldn’t be happier with the work carried out, Matthew and all his team are true professionals that really care about their customers.We were kept fully informed throughout the project, what more can you ask for. Our property was left clean and tidy on completion, a window cleaner was even sent to clean all the PVC. I would highly recommend this company. My home buyers solicitor wanted an inspection of the roof. I tried 2 other roofers they promised they would come for 2 weeks and failed to turn up. My buyers were getting distressed at the lack of results my daughter noticed Purple Roofing and I rang. The service was professional, Mat came on The same day when I explained it was holding up the sale of my home. He came and said the roof was absolutely fine so just paid for the report which was produced for the solicitor the following morning. His mantra was if it’s not broken don’t fix it. M & S Roofing have recently completed works at my property in Horsforth which was in dire need of roofing repairs to multiple roofs. M & S have installed 4 x fibreglass flat roofs, re roofed a small pitched roof in stone slate, and also carried out substantial repairs to the main stone slate roof. Simon and his team have been great from day 1 and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs roofing work carrying out. All the lads who have worked at my property were a pleasure to deal with and communication was great throughout the duration of the works. I'm writing this review as a last resort, but since nobody is showing up it doesn't really matter how it will influence our 10 year relation (guarantee period). I will do my best to keep this short and honest. Let's see how I do. So we've picked the quote from M&S for a complete re-roof (inc gutters, fascias) with flat roof repair to stop it from dripping and soaking up the side wall. For the re-roof pretty straight-forward job, picked the tiles we like and it went quite smoothly. Flat roof was supposed to be done so it doesn't drip- any way they see fit. They have offered re-felting it, seemed reasonable, so that was agreed. Unfortunately, either by lack of experience or the quality of work, the roof is still dripping, in the same places, soaking up the wall. On top of that, the main roof gutter, where it joins with our n-bours gutter, has been leaking. And since it's at the joint, it makes a lovely waterfall onto my n-bours walls and windows. ALL the issues above have been fixed now. Below you can see all the updates and how long it took. In general the company is reliable, just a shame they are soooo busy, it's hard work to meet up with them. Ive attached a pic of before and after gutter correction. If google allows it I will keep this review in edit and up to date after each and every significant development of situation- both good and bad. If there's no progress I shall update every two weeks stating just that- no progress. UPDATE 1 28.02.22- Mr Simon has paid me a visit to discuss the repairs. Spaces between gutters will be filled to prevent leaking. Flat roof is a bit more of a complex problem, but shall be dealt with as well. As promised to keep it fair, one star up and I shall update on thursday 3.3.22. UPDATE 2 8.03.22- we are waiting for dry day. It was raining almost all previous week. Should be better in coming days. UPDATE 3 11.03.22 All issues have been tended to. It is a trustworthy company after all, just busy.

These guys came to fix my neighbours roof, and after a very cheeky discussion, sorted ours during the same job for a very reasonable price. Literally got us out of an issue on the spot, on a saturday morning!
